I am a fairly new Long Beach resident, and became a fur-mom during the pandemic. I started taking my Ellie Jo to Beach Buds last summer, and was completely impressed with the business. The owner, Derek, is very kind, and patiently answered all of my first-time-dog-mom questions! He truly put all my fears/anxieties of leaving my pup in his care to rest. Ellie has a great time and is exhausted when she gets home.

We sent our sweet puppy Phyllis to daycare so she can play with other dogs and socialize, and naturally I was a nervous wreck. Derek and his team were so helpful in getting her acquainted with the other dogs and were so patient while she hung out in the office until she was comfortable. So happy we send her and we will continue to do so! Thank you Derek and team!!!

Beach Buds has been there for us since Day 1 when we moved to Long Beach 2 years ago. Derek and his staff have cared for my girl exceptionally well every time she's there. They are kind, clean, and loving towards everyone's fur babies. Thank you Beach Buds! I don't know what we would do without you!

They took amazing care of my dog. Lots of one on one attention and updates to my cell during the day. They even groomed him! Stefanie was super sweet and went above and beyond! This was my dog’s first time being left with someone else and he seemed to do great with them. Happy at pick up :) It was super easy to book online just two business days in advance as well which I needed for a last minute trip. Easy to email vaccination records as well.

I can't say enough amazing things about Derek and his crew at Beach Buds! When we send our dog there I am confident that he is safe, and having so much fun! He loves playing with all the dogs, and napping with them as well. Derek and his crew ensure that all dogs that come in get along well with all the dogs, which makes us feel so good to send our dog there. They offer a variety of packages to fit your needs and Pick up and drop off options which i use often! They also sell yummy treats, toys and gear! He also offers dog walking services which I know are awesome as well. Definitely worth checking out for your pup!!

My dog loves beach buds! Derek and his team help me out so much. I am able to go to work for extended hours knowing my dog is safe and well taken care of. I usually don't get out of work until after they are closed so Derek brings my dog home for me so that I don't have to worry. He was even able to help us with our engagement photos so we could have our dog in a few of the pictures. A very valuable business in long beach

Caring staff, clean environment, our pup is well cared for here! He comes home tired and happy which is amazing for us since our work days are so long! Derek and staff love our pup and are wonderful people, kind, respectful and willing to go above and beyond always :)

Great doggy daycare if you live in the area (even if you don’t and need a beach day!) you can always count on beach buds! The owner Derek is very reliable and you can trust that your dog or puppy will be in great hands! Need pick up or drop off in the area? No problem, Derek will try to accommodate you. They will also feed your dog, if needed. My dog loves it at beach buds and comes home happy and exhausted. Clean facility with a great staff, it’s the best place to bring your pooch when you are busy at work or need of a little R&R! 5 stars!

The Staff is Amazing they interact with the dogs, Ally picks up at times and brings home my dog. She’s a sweetheart then there’s Lilly she’s loves the dogs and they love her. Then there’s Scott, him and Lilly work together one in the morning in in the afternoon. In my book they are 3 A+ Staff

I can only say/write the best things about Beach Buds Doggy Daycare. Our dog, June, a 1 yo Duck Toller was a 2-3 times a week visitor for over a year (we are now living in Hawaii). She would become very excited when I asked her if she wanted to go to daycare and see Derek. Derek and his staff are friendly, professional, trustworthy and care deeply about the dogs. They offer so many services. I used pick up which was great when I had to go to work very early. I also used dog walking and knew that my dog and home would be safe. I only wish that I could find a dog daycare as special as Beach Buds in Hawaii! We already miss everyone there :-(
