Good value, decent taste, but long wait (they don’t take reservations) Unique restaurant with high quality seafood. Ordered the snow crab+clams combo with Cajun seasoning. I found the sauce to be a tad too salty and oily. Will probably order the ‘healthier’ no butter version next time. The crab was really delicious because the shell protects it from absorbing the salty sauce. It’s good value for a large amount of seafood but perhaps not worth waiting 1hr+ for. Service was good but they are very busy.

You must first understand that the entire point of Capri is to have a good time - to laugh and enjoy the spectacle of the enormous portions, protective gear, and utter state of mess you will be left in. Expect to spend money, expect to wait a while if they’re busy - but don’t worry about any of that. Put the Michelin Stars away and don’t be a restaurant critic - it’s off limits here, and you’ll miss the true joy of Capri. It’s not a normal restaurant or experience. It’s theater. So suit up, break the bank, make a mess, and have a blast. The food IS delicious, btw 😉

I dined here on a Saturday night for my sisters birthday. The drinks were good. I got a watermelon drink suggested by our waiter. The spot was a lot smaller than expected. They must be more of an outdoor dining experience but its winter. The music was at a nice volume. Lights weren’t too bright. Food tasted great. Their sauces were amazing. I didn’t give this place a 5 star because I think there was only one server and he was spread thin. Also the size was disappointing. I’m vegan and there was not one entree on the menu for me which was also disappointing but I made do with some sides (again we were there to celebrate my sister so I had no say in where). But overall great experience. I may return just to catch the outdoor vibe in the summer.

I was on Federal Hill with clients, it was late and I didn't have a whole lot of time to eat. I wanted seafood and the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. So I chose something quick and easy, Clam Chowder and Calimari appetizer. Both were some of the best that I ever had. The clam chowder wasn't too creamy with adequate clams and potatoes and a delicious flavor with curled bacon strips on top. The fried calamari was seasoned and lightly fried and served atop sautéed red pepper strips, garlic, banana peppers in a white wine sauce. Fantastic.

Came here for my birthday dinner and was blown away with the portion size. It’s a little on the pricey side but it’s fresh seafood so that is to be expected. The only negative thing I would say is the music was extremely loud and made it a little hard to hold a convo at our table. We will definitely be back!

Seafood, seafood, glorious seafood!!! There’s a reason why they call Rhode Island the Ocean State. It’s because of restaurant’s like this that offer some of the freshest seafood that I have had in a while. This establishment takes the yumminess of a southern seafood boil and puts a New England spin on it.

The food was amazing!! You will definitely get a bang for your buck!! Mac and cheese was nice and cheese little bland, but nothing you can't fix at the table!! However, not even 2 hours after we left my cousin in law became violently sick (food poisioning). 5 stars would have been given minus the food poision.

Excellent food. We got the capri bang w/ cajun seasoning made spicy and it was great, so much food! The calamari is was excellent as well. Our server Allie was awesome, she answered all our questions and was super personable. I can't wait to come back and try a lobster roll! Check this place out if in town.

In for a quick visit to say good-bye to our new college student. Ordered takeout. Unfortunately meal was not good. Didn't see the result until we got back to the hotel. The stuffed seafood cakes were over-cooked and rock hard. Very disappointed because so many reviews were excellent. Wouldn't recommend.

Arrived in Providence looking for some seafood. Found this place not too far from where I was staying. Ordered the hot Lobster roll and Cajun fries-- delicious! It really hit the spot for me. Aden was the waiter and did a good job. Weather was fabulous so I sat outside and enjoyed the views.

If you want an enjoyable seafood broil in Federal Hill come here. The food is so flavorful and delightful. This restaurant has inside and patio dining. They offer frozen drinks and offer an extensive cocktail menu. This is a great restaurant for a date night, girls night out, anniversary, birthday, or appetizers and drinks! You won’t be disappointed the food is worth every penny, lick your fingers it’s so good. Customer service is amazing, the waitstaff is very attentive. The aesthetics are pleasing to the eye as well.

On Thursday 11/30/23 @2030 hrs. I visited this restaurant for the first time with my guess. The meal was delicious. Well season and well portion for the price. Unfortunately, I had to send back the steam clams due to the fact they were cool/room temperature to the touch. Even when they were cold, they still were delicious. The atmosphere was a romantic one. The wait staff was great. My main wait staffer was Taylor. She wasc OUTSTANDING! She took care of all of our food service needs.

Ordered a mini combo, just the perfect amount for a quick lunch. The flavor of the sauce (Capri Kickin extreme) had my mouth watering after every bite. The staff was VERY FRIENDLY and the choice of music was perfect. Definitely would bring my family here!

This place is ahhhhmazing the capri kick sauce is A1 and I have had seafood boil in many states and this sauce is by far my favorite. The drinkssss oh boy top tierrrr! We went on Aug 19 that batrtender deserve a raise. The service tho needs work, we weren’t asked if we wanted anything to drink not even when we were awaiting our meal. We waited 20minutes before a server came and the place was not crowded. It’s labour day weekend n I’m bringing 6 of my family members tomorrow. Can’t wait to dive in. Their clam chowder is the best I’ve had and I have had manyyyy! I recommend every1 to come there!

The food was decent but not great and I was expecting more for the price. Service was very good in the atmosphere was okay. I liked the outside and semi outside seating. I don't think I'll be back again but it was worth a visit.

The waitress was sweet and attentive. Although she told me the shell-on headless shrimp were deveined shrimp (they were not). The Bartender makes an amazing French 75, so I ordered 2 (wink). The food was fresh and delicious. It came out in a timely manner. I ordered a lobster roll and half pound of shrimp. My only major complaint was the host. He wasn't at the host stand which is located outside on the covered patio. It was raining when I arrived and a little chilly. No one was sitting out, so why would the host stand be there (I'll digress). When I arrived. The host was not there so I walked into the restaurant. There was a second host stand. The 2 girls standing there looked puzzled as to why I was there. I told them I needed a table for 1. Then the guy who opened the door for me, walked up and asked me to step back outside so that the host could check me in. I asked why do I need to step out when I'm already inside? (Again it's rainy and chilly out). I also asked where was the host when I arrived? He said, in the restroom. So I asked couldn't he check me in, inside? The younger male host immediately caught an attitude. He waved me to follow him, then sat me at a table next to a brick column (please understand, at the time of my arrival the restaurant was pretty empty there were literally 5 guests. There was a table with 4 women, and a table with 1 man . I chuckled to myself because I knew this was his attempt to piss me off. But I didn't let him see me sweat. I sat at the table and waited to see how the rest of my time there would pan out.

Amazing food and service. At first I thought the price point was a little high, but for the amount of quality fresh seafood you get, it was right on point. Will be returning.

I’ve never dined in at this restaurant since I only learned about it during COVID-19. However, I have ordered takeout a few times and I haven’t been disappointed. The staff at Capri Seafood is very nice and friendly both over the phone and in person when I pick up my order. I’ve bought the family combos and we just love the flavor and variety of seafood. We’ve had the Capri Cajun and the garlic & butter seasonings both are delicious. It’s great because you can also get different spice levels or no spice (I recommend the medium). The combos also come with potatoes, corn and sausage. Yes, they are a bit pricey but it is definitely worth it! Capri seafood is one of my favorite seafood restaurants 😋 can’t wait to have a dine in experience. I say, take a look at their online menu. There’s definitely something there that’ll appeal to your taste buds. It’s definitely worth checking it out for yourself! 🦞

I ate my self into a drunken stupor. My first time here for my birthday celebration dinner. The food is dynamic tasting and a lot in quantity though a bit garlic forward. Of course I am going back. Very warm, helpful, friendly staff.

We were greeted by a great hostess, who got us seated almost immediately on a busy weekend. The ambiance may not be for everyone, as they play a selection of R&B at a fairly loud volume. I really enjoyed the look and feel of the restaurant, as well as their music selection. I hadn't heard some of those songs in years. Our waitress, Leah, was the best. She was very sweet, attentive and helpful in helping us select our food and drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. Leah even checked on market pricing for a specific dish and returned to inform me that the price was higher than what she originally thought. I sincerely appreciated all of her hard work and attention. We ordered the Cheesy Lobster, along with a half pound of shrimp and mussels in a mild cajun sauce, with potatoes. The food was outstanding. I hope they are paying Leah well because she's a gem. We hope to return in the near future and highly recommend it.
