A beautiful park with many trails and adventures from a covered bridge to a series of ladders to get out or into a Hollow. They offer horse back riding too!The lodge a cabins look great, staff is friendly and helpful. Prices for meals are reasonable. There are canoe/tube/kayak outfitters nearby to enjoy Sugar Creek.

Turkey run state park is amazing! The trails are very well maintained and the staff are all super friendly! However, if you plan on bringing your dog, please please please keep it on leash!!! Not all dogs enjoy other dogs running at them. Still the best place to hike!

Great place to hike at! Most of the trails lean more towards experienced hikers. My only complaint with the park is that the campground is separate from most of it. You have to leave the campground and then enter the park. There is one trail that connects them but it adds a couple miles every time you want to hike the other trails in the park. Other than this the park and campground are excellent. From just looking at the facilities you can tell this gets more funding than other parks.

First time at hiking. And my first time at Turkey Run. Turned out to be even more breathtaking than I expected. Everything inch is filled with beautiful, lush, and effervescent natural life. A great experience for family, groups, and people of all ages with or without any experience of the outdoors.

This is a true gem of Indiana. Turkey Run has it all; canyons, rock formations, ladders, river, covered bridge, giant trees, a beautiful Inn, suspension bridge, and lots and lots of steps. :) Just go, you won't be sorry you did.

This park was a few hours drive from Cincinnati, but saw a friend went there and took some lovely photos so decided to go there on my day off. I was really glad I went, I was a bit disappointed there was no waterfalls (not enough rain lately), but there was plenty of other cool stuff to see. I especially liked the ladders on trail 3 and walking along the creek bed. The trails are moderately difficult at some parts, I was a bit nervous to drop my camera at some points, but the carved out areas and the suspension bridge made every photo worth it. I do wish the trails had maps and signs on them, if you go, make sure to download a map or stop and get a paper map, the cell reception there was pretty bad for me. I had looked at the trail maps before going so I had a rough idea where I wanted to go, but at one point I was just guessing which way to go (later got a paper map from the nature center which helped a lot). Saw a couple snakes near the trails which surprised me, but it was a warm day so it was not too unexpected. Bring good shoes if you plan to go on the more moderate trails, I can imagine some would be a lot trickier if the water level is higher.

I took a detour over here to grab a few geocaches on my way home from Indianapolis. Very glad I did. Only had a couple hours here, but thoroughly enjoyed them. The trails I took were a bit rugged, but doable and the scenery was beautiful! I have always loved geology. Trail 6 was especially enjoyable.

Good assortment of trails, park is well maintained, unique and interesting geology, overall delightful and meaningful...I have been there probably 15 or so times.
