Very beautiful old villa that is now a bookstore. Already worth a visit just to have a look at the architecture. Very helpful staff to suggest books for kids.

5... Only 5...? 6, 7 STARS! A palatial bookstore that was once a young Napoleon Bonaparte's HQ. Lorenza and her sisters have helped make Bassano del Grappa an even more beautiful and welcoming cittadina.

This is a nice store, but not a place to find books. Being classified according to publisher, it requires to be able to match authors and publishers. Not handy at all. I don't like the selection of junior books. The non fiction section is quite poor.

A heaven for readers housed in a historical building of stunning beauty. Spend some time on the little terrace at the back, overlooking the garden.
