When good food makes you feel good … it is excellent. The mom-son duo are a gem. Super friendly, patient service. The food is just … just … fantastique. It is one of the best Ethiopian-Eritrean food I’ve ever had in/ outside E. Africa. If you’re a fan of E food, come here. If it is your first time, DEFINITELY come, because it will blow your mind.

Really beautiful restaurant. It is quite small, but it actually feels like a little pearl in the middle of Bergamo. It was completely unknown for me, but I wanted to try ethnical food and I decided for this. I have been amazed by the incredible kindness of the staff and by the very good food. I have tried typical Medìa with interesting South Africa wine. Suggested!

Today, I was cycling past this place on my way to the Cita Alta and I noticed that this is a restaurant from my country. My heart naturally gravitated towards it because I have not had our traditional cuisine in a while, and the moment I stepped in, they made me feel immensely welcome. I ordered Timtimo vegetarian dish which had two different sauces and a salad on the side and it was as authentic as my grandmother’s home made food. It truly brought back fond memories of my childhood and I was really moved by their gracious hospitality and kindness. I was in a hurry, and I couldn’t stay for too long, but I wish I would’ve spent more time there . It truly is a unique place! I will come back again some day!

A wonderful experience with fantastic food. The staff is extremely welcoming and kind, the food was amazingly good and the restaurant is beautiful and clean. We had a meadi plate of enjera with zighni, kilwa, kitfo with some tamia and sambussa, plus some hummus and pepper sauces for dinner with sweet spice tea to finish. So much wonderful and spicy (by choice) food that we almost couldn't finish. The staff conversed with us perfectly in 3 languages and made us feel so welcomed. I love this place and can't wait to go back again and again.

Amazing place! The waiter is fluent in Italian and English, is friendly and knowledgeable about their foods. The foods themselves were amazing, all of them with no exception, and the wine is strong and good. Most foods are also gluten free, so that's a 10/10 for me ❤️

We came to Italy thinking we would be telling stories of the Italian food when we got back to the US. Our favorite meal was actually Ethiopian. Andom and Haitanot (husband & wife, the owners) made the evening memorable with their conversation & presence. The food was absolutely delicious and I'm eating leftovers now in our AirBnB. Don't miss this restaurant! You will not be disappointed.

Excellent place, not only the food was incredibly tasteful and well prepared, but the staff was super friendly and we got into a very interesting conversation.. =) I forgot my thermos there and they were kind enough to keep it at the cashier until I got back to get it. It is a little bit crazy that our night in Italy we had an african dinner. We didn't had a reservation(always call before you go) but the staff made everything possible so we had a nice dinner the last night. We took beyaynetu. Delicious and don't miss the tea! It is wonderful family restaurant.
