Absolutely delighting 3 night-stay. The hotel is gorgeous : decoration, gardens, architecture, furniture. The room was great with a large terrace with a view on the lovely garden. The equipments, the products are super good quality. The staff is exactly what one can appreciate in a palace. They all want you to enjoy your experience. The food is delicious and refined. The spa is remarkable. Fully equipped, the therapists are great. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway with a very rare level of luxury. In addition the lake and the Borromeo islands are fantastic.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with so much history and charm. The facilities, food and beverage and service were impeccable. It’s expensive but worth it. I would recommend staying here and would definitely go back. It’s Italian giving Hollywood glamour!

The restaurant offers a stunning indoor and outdoor atmosphere. My meal: farmers style vegetable soup and mushroom aged Parmesan ravioli was absolutely delicious! The Hemingway bar is such an iconic place full of history and beauty! Places you should definitely go to while in Stresa! ❤️

Extraordinary This hotel has everything, fantastic position and views, truly excellent staff, an art gallery tracing the history of Italian art in the hotel. A breakfast with everything and the best pool and spa area I've been to. Wet and dry saunas, lots of spa pools gorgeous outdoor area and garden and at a very reasonable price for what you get. I can't wait to return.

Das Hotel ist renoviert und schön Die Zimmereirichtung ist mit sehr alten Möbel. Das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr schlecht. Sie sprachen lieber miteinander, als zu arbeiten. Das Abendessen war eine Enttäuschung. Das Essen kam kalt. Bei der Ankunft mussten wir Koffer selber ins Hotel tragen. Also kein 5 Sterne Service. Die Lage ist super!

Stunning hotel, lovely location!! Beautiful views of the islands. Mostly friendly staff and occasionally even a smile. I tell you what thougg the room cleaning and service staff are very polite maybe they should be front of house. Rooms inside are dated, and artwork does not seem to have a cohesive theme. You can not request an iron. You have to pay to have your clothes ironed for you. The spa is modern, with fantastic facilities and clean. Service at breakfast was ok. Lovely view on ground floor terrace. They forgot our coffee so we ate and left. Still happy overall.

We arrived at 1:00 p.m. and were allowed to check in at 3:00 p.m. During this time, we could only eat in the bistro (at the pool facility). The staff and by that I mean only the staff like waiters (general restaurant) was just bad for a 5 star hotel. We ordered two Cesar salads and drinks. A young waiter a maximum of 20 years old throws me two glasses at the table as if he were Silvio Berlusconi's cousin simply disrespectful. This was followed by the next disaster. In my salad I found a living snail that was still moving. So I also communicated this to the staff and I am a very understanding person that everyone makes mistakes. But that the snotty employees could not even apologize for that disappointed me very much in this hotel. I don't know Italy like that. Dear managers. If you want to change something, start changing your service and bad food. 90% of the guests value the most.

Great hotel in nice location. However, the young ladies at the spa reception seem to have such an unpleasant attitude, that it’s worth minus a whole star. They also don’t allow their guests to visit the spa after the check-out, which is quite unpleasant, considering that they also sell spa entries to visitors outside of the hotel. So you feel quite unwelcome after your check-out, it’s like you are completely nobody after that no matter how many nights you had stayed. For the rest it’s great, just these 2 points

What an amazing place, the hotel itself is incredible. Beautifuly decorated and inside and out with great pools, spa and gym. 10 stars for location and the building itself. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 for the review is the quality of the food, nowhere near a 5 star hotel. The dinner we had on the first night was terrible, the daily menu was not up to scratch and took nearly 45 mins to get a wine. The staff tried hard and were friendly but in a place like this wasn't good enough. The pool area and spa is fantastic but again no poolside service which is disappointing for the prices you pay for food and drinks near the pool. Overall still highly recommend staying here, just eat in town, kuch cheaper and way better.

Wonderful old charm and glamour hotel with halls lined with antique artwork. The type of services they had are mostly nonexistent now. Our room was slightly on worn side but services, facilities and the view made up for it. They have new, state of art Spa with 2 pools , one indoor and one outdoor with a bar. Very chick and relaxing . Services were fantastic. The front desk people were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was abundant with a lot of local fruits and food . They had most delicious small croissants. The We had a dinner in hotel restaurant which you have to make reservation for as it gets sold out and fast. Yes , man have to wear pants for dinner as it’s was old times. My husband had shorts on as we were on backpack trip and in the middle of heatwave . Yes, we were stoped and explained why and then let go🙂 Service during dinner was top class , it felt like we are the only people in restaurant because of the amazing services .The food came precisely and wine glasses filled on time👌 Highly recommend if you want to enjoy old world charm and services.

Gorgeous hotel! Best hotel in the area. Well equipped with indoor and outdoor pools, breakfast was nice, and the decor is lovely. Only negative was profoundly unhelpful staff. Breakfast staff were useless, always saying tables outside were full when they were empty but they didn’t want to reset them. The worst was when two unoccupied female receptionists, both more useless than concrete parachutes, refused to pass us our room key and made us wait for 10 mins for the concierge to finish helping someone else before he could hand it to us…women died to give is the opportunity to work ladies!!
