I guess I should only leave a bad review for Technogym, France, but since the French subsidiary is so utterly unresponsive (and I have tried to get help for months now!), I will direct my frustration directly at Technogym's global Headquarters. In the end, the buck stops with top management. Let me be direct: do NOT buy the new Technogym Ride (or any Technogym product for that matter!!). It's not worth it. You'll likely be disappointed and frustrated like I am—latest when something invariably goes wrong and you can't get the assistance you desperately need. I could not even find help to set up the bike properly—not online and certainly not from my sales representative. Let's start at the very beginning. The delivery people can hardly tell the difference between a bike and a desk. Seriously, they had absolutely no clue, and accordingly, I spent weeks to really get started. This is not hyperbole, but the delivery folks literally knew less than I did. Importantly, the Technogym Ride arrived with a defective on/off button under the monitor. I immediately signaled the problem to my salesperson, Mavy, who told me to pull out the AC power cord from the wall outlet and plug it back in every time I want to start the bike. He said the power button is useless, which makes you wonder why Technogym would include a power on/off button in the first place. Perhaps the better question is why customers should settle for a defective (premium?) product? When you invest more than Euro 5,000 just on the Technogym Ride, should you not demand a functional bike? I could go on since I also purchased the Technogym Wellness Ball, which unfortunately was too small for its case. I literally have the Wellness Ball package laying here collecting dust waiting for someone from Technogym to pick it up. One more word on my Technogym sales representative. Besides not appointing a replacement when he goes on vacation or holidays, which in France is all the time :-), he just does not care to respond. And when he finally does, he does not follow through on his promises. He told me he would pick up the Wellness Ball many, many months ago. I even threatened to throw it in the trash, but feel it would be bad for the environment. As alluded to already, it is up to you to figure out how the Technogym Ride works. There ought to be a useful QuickStart guide that explains the importance of the FTP threshold, which determines pretty much every other output on the bike. I eventually figured this out when the power zones just did not reflect what the instructors were saying they should. A quick word on Clipless Pedals. The bike only accepts pedals made by Technogym. I can understand that (for warranty purposes), but it is not clearly written on the website or in the manual. I searched hours trying to figure out why the expensive pedals I purchased did not fit. Hey, Technogym does not even provide tools for you to change your pedals. And so I could not return the expensive pedals since I had lubed them ... and eventually ordered the cheaper Technogym pedals. I still have the expensive pedals and the tool to change pedals plus lube. What a waste of money and resources. The workout programs and coaches are quite excellent ... when the bike works. But should you really make a trade-off when you spend so much and have alternatives with infinitely better customer service? Btw ... I have now been on the phone waiting for their support (after first calling the support in Italy) for 48 minutes and will finally hang up—so frustrating to waste even more time!. Where does that leave me? I really do not know since I can't reach anyone and cannot use my bike that does not turn on. What should I do? I also once spoke with the quality department (imagine that!) and dedicated 30-40 minutes to provide constructive feedback. The only thing I asked for is that someone reach out and replace the defective on/off button on my bike. Which brings this review full circle. Ask yourself if you really want to spend so much money on a piece of sports equipment that you cannot use?

This is a review of Technogym as a company - not their HQ building - and of the French arm of Technogym. We live in France and own a Technogym exercise bike that has a broken part which needs replacing. The part is fairly important and the bike cannot be used easily until it is replaced. Despite trying to contact the French arm of Technogym via their the contact for on their own website; by Facebook; and email (they did send us 1 message), they have not had the courtesy to respond to us so we are unable to get the repair done. Very poor customer service.
