This hotel is under construction and not ready to have people come inside. The fire alarms are being tested at all hours and flash bright lights even when they aren't sounding. I tried to sleep here, but it was hard to do with the crew. The crew had Hawaiian shirts on and were drinking Bud Light through the hallways from 9pm through 7am. The fire trucks drove into the building and made a little mess (see photo). The breakfast was okay. The eggs weren't as chalky as they are at other hotels. There's a hatch in the shower (see photo). Do you want to know what came through the wall? Let me know if you do, because I'm waiting to meet it.

Before I even got to my room the check in process was awful. I was told there would be a $50 security deposit for the night that was not advertised anywhere in the booking process. I also thought it was completely unnecessary especially after seeing the room. I checked in at 3pm, and was told I would have to wait to enter the room because it had not been cleaned yet. Finally after getting into the room it just got worse and worse. It was like walking into a room that was not complete or poorly renovated with no inspection before letting guests in. If I had the extra money I would've left immediately and got another hotel. On top of everything seen in the pictures I came out to my car the next morning ready to get out of this roach motel to find half drank beer bottles on the ground behind my car. I have never been more relieved to get away from a hotel in my life. I will NOT be staying here ever again and most definitely will NOT be recommending to anyone.

Can’t give a half star but the experience is bad very bad. I travel all around the country for work I stay at days inn or a Wyndham hotel because my wife works for Wyndham and I have always have had good experiences like right now I am at a days inn here in Pennsylvania and it is awesome as always but the experience from last is bad I have never been charged a deposit ever but last night I was informed of being charged one after I had booked my hotel off the website then the room stunk very bad kids slamming doors and running up and down the hall way all night I walk out the room this morning to a heavy smell of of weed like some one is taking a bath in it there was only stairs there But had to sleep was tired so when I checked out I asked about the deposit and was told it would be 3 to 5 days before I got it back witch is not true because of my wife calling Wyndham then they act like like I was stupid when I told them what I was told from Wyndham. I understand people have kids I have 7 my self and when we stay in a hotel I tell them there are people all around us that is trying to sleep like they want to and they don’t act like that they wasn’t not small kids they was in there teens and knew better it was a bad experience all the way around I don’t recommend staying in the dump at all and Wyndham needs to drop them and not sponsor them if they do they need to walk through and look at everything

Place was not worth $90 a night. Guy at the desk asked if we were in a "motorcycle gang" and told me since I used a debit card I'd have to add on an extra $50 deposit in case we messed up the room. Room was subpar and not up to $90/night standards. Poor paint job, doors sticking, fridge was dirty, etc. I'm still waiting for my $50 deposit to be returned 3 days later so now I have to take time out of my vacation to make phone calls to get it back. Do not book a room here.

First of all, let me say this much...I have worked at hotels in the past, then later for a company that came in and took over hotels due to the lack of care from the owners to upgrade them to a better hotel. So now let's begin with my review. My partner and I got a king room and heaven forbid... I get it if they are renovating the hotel but you would think the main priority is getting the rooms together and cleaned just so u can get the guests in and they are happy that way they would come back...I'm sure they would get it if the lobby and other areas are being renovated. I posted pics just of our room, so I can only imagine the other rooms. The linens didn't match... no coffee maker, no binder to let us know of restaurants in the area.. no cable. Just a bad experience.

Absolutely terrible! $350 for a night because we just happened to be passing through while the Taylor swift concert was happening in town. We had to KICK the door in because it was painted shut. The room smelled like straight BO. The Jacuzzi tub was absolutely disgusting Half the lights didn’t work. After walking the room we ended up leaving to find a different hotel because it was completely unsanitary. DO NOT GO HERE !!!

Place was disgusting. Worst place I have slept outside of the military. Bugs were behind our bathroom mirror, they didn’t vacuum at all, the ceiling was warped and falling down. Overall disgusting place and I wouldn’t never bring anyone your care about here. Especially if you want to feel safe at all. For $100 a room id rather sleep in a homeless shelter.

Was not a good experience at all. The room was far from clean. It looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. The staff was not very friendly either. Will no return. There are much better rooms for the same or even lower pricing.

This hotel appears as if it is still under renovation. The renovation work that was completed looks like it was done very cheaply. Our room was disgusting. Toenails were found on the bathroom floor, the carpet was not vacuumed and the sheets had stains on them. The toilet tank would only fill if the top of the tank was removed and the plug was pushed down. We had originally booked two nights and checked out early due to the unsanitary conditions of the hotel. If I could give this hotel negative stars I would. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

The best part about this hotel is the staff, specially Ash. She was so kind and helpful! We came to the Days Inn on Thursday morning as walk-ins after an unsatisfactory experience at a different hotel chain. Ash agreed to show us the room before we committed to staying there, she let us check in early, suggested we book through the Wyndham rewards app to save a little money, and she was just so nice and friendly, it really put our minds at ease. We were in town (coming from Toronto) for the Blue Jays series against the Reds and the location was perfect! Close to shopping and restaurants, and just a short drive into Covington and downtown Cincinnati. The room was very comfy, everything was clean, and will be even better once the renovation is complete. The coffee in the lobby is also really good and the breakfast selections are pretty good for what you expect at a hotel - especially the waffles! We will definitely stay here again!

My girlfriend and I were there for Labor Day weekend 2022. Both the entry door and bathroom door looked like they were victims of a break-in. I didn't feel safe with the entry door's loose fitting doorlock. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and wet dog. The smoke detector constantly flashed a white light; on night 1, it made me wonder if we should be evacuating. There was a hole in the shower wall. The TV reception is stuck in the 90's; have to wait minimum 20 minutes for the picture to clear up to watch anything. It's analog vs digital/streaming. The hotel truly has the appearance of something you would pay by the hour for. I think Wyndham might want to consider dumping this place as one their hotels. Thankfully, it didn't take away from our weekend plans and all that we did. It is just a rotten hotel and I/we will never stay there again.

This place sucked. I would have been less upset if I had been more mentally prepared for it to suck this bad. Located in a nice neighborhood with well kept homes and businesses, this is not a "truck stop" location, but don't let that placate you. The lobby of this hotel looks somewhat recently renovated, at least "There Was an Attempt" and the rooms APPEAR to be accessed from the inside of the building. The guy at the front desk on the evening of 2/16/24 was very nice, efficient, and I'd like to give him a shout out. That's where the good feelings ended. I booked a "King, Lower Studio" as the description included "Sofa Bed, sitting area" implying it was a slightly more spacious room. It was not. It didn't have a sofa bed or any type of sitting area- it was a King Bed in a nasty, possibly smaller-than-standard size room. Apparently "Lower Studio" means you have the pleasure of accessing your room from the outdoors and it faces the pool. What a treat in February. So do your research and make sure you understand what the terminology refers to before you book a room. Room itself was gross. There were two cleaning rags left on the sink. The floor was sticky and I wouldn't walk barefoot on it. You could hear everything coming and going. We were already running behind for the event we traveled for, so we just stayed to sleep and dealt with it. This place would have been far more tolerable had I been traveling by myself and already had a vision that it would be a garbage dump. But the room didn't match the description I booked and paid for, and the hotel itself is much worse off than the neighborhood it is in. Don't be fooled.

Tucked away but within easy distance of highway. Quiet, nice, clean room. Had plenty of space for a workout. Nice shower. We helped an old and fragile gentleman. The desk attendant did not even offer to help but let us carry luggage for the man, perhaps because he was the only person manning the front desk. My husband walked the man upstairs carrying some of his stuff. Breakfast was the usual. Piles of gluten. The orange juice was horrible. It did not even resemble juice. But I was told the waffles were good.

Room was clean and updated. The young man that checked us in was friendly. The towels and pillows reflect the price for the night. We were not bothered by how fluffy towels are or that we got one each. The bed was comfortable and the pillow was too. My only two notes are we can hear the people above us quite loudly when they walked around. It was like the builder forgot the sound proofing but all was quiet when they went to bed. Second note is 5 mini muffins to choose from should not constitute a breakfast. Lol. But again. You get what you pay for. And we were looking for price and not luxury. There were no insects of any kind. It was clean and we slept and showered just fine. Our door could use a paint job though.

Bares bones experience in a two-star hotel is fine as long as it is clean and quiet. This motel is neither. The room had no toilet paper, broken lights in the bathroom and burns marks on the linen. Room didn't feel clean. The walkways were busy late into the night. People hanging out in front of the rooms, playing music, yelling etc. There are better experiences to be had for the price.

Rooms were clean as could be without major renovations. Windows and doors need replacing, tried to leave after one night (4 day reservation) but was told I would be charged for 4 days if I did. Great location. Would not advise staying here.

The room was comfortable and clean. The service was good. We had a corner room that was noisy into the wee hours but otherwise good stay.

I almost never leave reviews but I feel an obligation to do so after our experience. I regret not reading all reviews before booking because the bad ones are not exaggerated. After in our room for just 30 minutes, my fiancé stops my kid from accidentally sticking his hand in a needle next to the bed!! We were so tired, decided to confront them about it in the morning and remain cautious for the night. Here are some more concerning experiences we had: - no elevator so pack light to avoid heavy trips up and down the stairs. - rooms have no bare necessities; extra trash bags, toilet paper, etc. Also did not have a brochure to confirm breakfast, etc. -speaking of breakfast...room temp cream cheese (if you ask for fresh ones you get frozen), orange juice came out brown, and guests need to coordinate with each other to prevent using the microwave and toaster at the same time. - the hot and cold are backwards on both the sink and shower. - the smoke detectors blink constantly over the beds. Not great when you're trying to sleep. - the overall cleanliness was questionable Pictures will be added to this because it's nothing like what we saw on the website.

The reviews stated bed bugs but we didn't have that issue. The key to our room never worked, Even after changing the battery. There was a dog that constantly barked outside our window, We were on the third floor. For some reason the sink was jammed up against the bowl so You have to cut your hand up against the bowl to get your hands washed. So strange. Breakfast was okay however if the machine that makes the waffles doesn't cook them all the way through. As stated in previous reviews orange juice's terrible.

Booked this room weeks ago, should’ve noticed it only had 3 stars. Comforter, sheets and mattress topper had stains all over them. Employees came to change everything except the mattress topper. When we asked if they could change it because it was COVERED in stains, he said it was for bed bugs. Which makes sense, but you should have extras or at least change them every now and then. Definitely left and booked another hotel.

Stayed a few times more recently now, and they're definitely trying to make it a better experience. An obvious remodel, redecorating has been happening, and looking like it'll really spruce things up. Repairs to rooms and such as well, seems to finally be happening, after years of dilapidation. The service has gotten to be really good, they've brought back the breakfast with great Belgian waffles..🙂, and even though some struggle with the English language, if you're patient and not rude, they try so hard to make you happy and understand you the best they can, you can tell they really want to be part of the American experience, and seem to be pursuing their version of an American dream. So for me, these seem to be exactly the kind of good people I'd like to see more of in our country, so my recommendation, show them the same hospitality you expect them to show you when staying at their hotel. 🙂

Dirty, burn holes and stains on bedspread (pictured), stains on wall (pic), lamp shade busted (pic), could see sunlight coming in around air-conditioning, whole room just run down...breakfast bar had food all over counters and just plain dirty...also people working on broken down cars in front and back parking. I did not feel safe walking my dogs. never again!!!!

This location is going through major remodeling & when finished, I believe will be a stellar establishment. Currently it is clean (other than typical construction areas), is adequate place for short stays and it is currently much less expensive than anything in the area. My only fault is that they currently have no elevator so the 15 or so steps to the second floor were a challenge for me. I don’t know whether an elevator is in the renovation plans but it should be. The room was clean but obviously needs some minor fixes but not a big deal. It’s not the Ritz but I can recommend it for the significant price savings (~$90/night in June 2023)

The rooms were horrible. Our room had no hot water. The sink faucet was falling apart. I was supposed to get a double queen bed and ended up with a double full size bed. The guys at the front desk had no clue what they were doing. The room across the hall had people fighting all night and slamming doors. Parts of the ceiling looked like it was gonna fall. Not worth the 116$ a night. We was very disappointed.

First of all, asking 300$us for one night because Taylor Swift is in town is ridiculous. I understand the principle of supply and demand but there is nothing for our stay that was worth that much money. The only reason why we decided to stay at that Hotel is because it was 2am and we we're extremely tired after driving 16 hours. The bedroom was somewhat clean and the staff was friendly. However the toilet was not even bolten down to the floor (was loose). The A/C had a hard time keeping the room cool even if it was set to the lowest temperature it could go, the shower fixture coming out of the wall was damaged, there's no air circulation in the bathroom and the wanna be air vent cover in the shower was barely holding on the wall (probably damaged because of the constant mount of humidity in the bathroom). The lobby looked like a construction site (I hope for them that they are actually doing renos because this Hotel is in great need of it) Overall 2.5/5 *

We stayed for 2 nights and not one issue. We came in and was greeted by Jay and he explained the renovation but it wasn’t an issue at all. The room was nice and clean they actually took it into consideration not to work early allowing people to sleep. Shout out to Jay dealing with him from start to finish it was a great experience and we will be back.

Not good. I was traveling through the area and paid for one night. Didn’t expect a 5 star hotel but didn’t know I was paying for a broken bathroom door that would not shut or lock at all. It looked like someone kicked and punched the door. The ceiling covers had old water stains on them from leaks and the over all room was not welcoming. The bed was the only thing I can say was nice. Other then that, the tv didn’t work, kept going in and out. And the main lobby looked like there was a construction site going on, the main stairs were gone, just looked like a mess, definitely needs some work. I would recommend somewhere else!

I was not expecting a 5-star hotel when I booked, but wowzers. My room had an heating/air unit and hairdryer that did not work (would not turn on. Items were plugged in and I tested the outlets too and they worked), ceiling tiles badly broken, and found previous person’s used soap and shampoo in the shower. The place is by the highway, so you will hear that all night (knew that when booked). Had a scary experience when someone tried to enter my room after midnight too. Thank goodness I always lock all the latches. Positives: Bed was very comfortable and staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Only 30 minutes away from Kings Island. Checkin/out times were great.

My room was absolutely disgusting. The entire carpet was damp. There's kitty litter on the floor. There's no way they cleaned this. There using pesticides for bugs where guests are breathing. The chemical smell was so strong I was getting dizzy. Started vomiting from being exposed to it all day.

This hotel needs a face lift in the worst way. The Walls are peeling paint, rust and dirt on the walls and ceilings. This hotel looks alot dirtier than it is because of how bad the place is cared for. The lampshades in our room had been torn apart and taped back together. There is construction everywhere inside the hotel. The only good this is this place didnt have bugs and it allowed dogs. The service was nice but it cant really fix how dirty it feels.

  • 2/5 Melina Y. 1 year ago on Google
Our bathroom door wouldn't shut. Called the service desk and advised this.Requested maintenance to wait u til we left for concert. He showed up minutes later but didn't knock and just tried to come into our room. The shower/tub was clogged and wouldn't drain properly. The check-in area was under construction Angostura of it was roped off. Police had to be called about a person harassing guests 🙄. That person was eventually arrested and taken off.

They have bed bugs. My son was bitten up pretty bad. I needed a late check out and was charged 84$ for a few hours. I still have not received the "$50" deposit back, it cleared my bank as a charge. I've stayed here 2x but won't be back. The breakfast was a joke, the waffles are raw in the middle no matter how long you cook them. Cold cereal with milk just sitting out on the counter, not refrigerated. First day no fruit.... Didn't go back for more! If I could give them a zero rating I would. Only thing I 1 like its location
