My (almost 4 year old) daughter and I had an appointment today at Miss Rizos Salon and it was an amazing hair day! This was my daughter's first time getting her hair done in a salon and I am so pleased. Liz, her stylist, was so sweet and patient. She gave my little one her first haircut and two strand twists. My baby can't stop telling everyone "I look so pretty!" Lacey was my stylist and she was gentle and fun. My curls are popping! Everyone on staff at the salon is very sweet and I loved the small details like having children's books with curly girls and girls of color. We will be back very soon!

This was by far the best salon experience I have ever had! I have never been happier with my tight curls after leaving an appointment. Simone was incredibly helpful and precise. She guided me through every step of the process, so that I can maintain my natural hair at home in between trims. I am absolutely in love with the cut. The shape is beautiful and I have the perfect balance between definition and volume. The salon sent me home with a routine card listing all of the products they used for my hair. So happy that I tried this place because I will definitely be returning.

This was first time at the salon. The place itself is wonderful, clean and feels homey but as it was my first time being in the salon I would have wanted to have the hair dresser to communicate with me the process of my hair. I felt in the dark about the whole process and made me feel very nervous of how my hair would turn out. I understand there might have been a language barrier, but I did specify what language I’m comfortable with in the survey prior to booking my appointment.

Wonderful service. The folks there KNOW their stuff, are open, honest and non- judgemental. I felt comfortable trusting these folks with my hair after. The products are fabulous and the salon is a good enough size where it didn't feel like we were all crushed together. Run to Miss Rizos. It's absolutely worth every penny.

I absolutely love love love my curly cut! It was my first haircut in 4 years and my stylist was so gentle and kind ! The energy in the salon is amazing, super cute and clean! The products smell wonderful and just overall 10/10 I will definitely be coming back! I would recommend anyone with any form of Curls to take the trip to Ms.Rizos!!

I had a great first experience at Miss Rizos. I had Simone as my hairstylist. She was so chill and calming, eased my nerves immediately. They all gave me great insight on how to take care of my curls. I will definitely be back! probably for a bigger cut, maybe a pixie cut next time.

I had a great experience at Miss Rizos salon! Staff 1000/10 very welcoming and friendly. I did a deep treatment and think I enjoyed the hair massage the most out of my curly cut lol.(highly recommend the treatment) I had my hair cut by Liz and absolutely loved how delicate she was with my hair and walked me through was she was doing. I loved my curly cut it was what I needed to re grow and Learn to love my hair all over again. Although I wasn’t a fan of the styling which I knew would happen coming into the hair cut. I personally am very picky with how I style my hair and how the products that I use. I wanted to try out getting my hair styled which I did enjoy just wish I maybe would’ve skipped out! Definitely recommend to anyone that is interested in getting a curly cut thank you Liz!!

I took my son here for his first haircut today! He has curly hair and it became too long so it was hard to keep up with regular washing and styling. We decided it was time for a cut and we’re so glad we chose Miss Rizos salon! Elizabeth took care of my little guy today and she did such a good job. We loved the end result. Apart from being a talented hair stylist, she was so kind and friendly. All of the women who work at the salon seem so kind and welcoming. I also really enjoyed seeing other people getting their hair done while I waited for my little guy to be done. All the stylists there definitely know what they’re doing, everyone was walking out of there looking fabulous with their styled curly hair. If you’re thinking about going to this salon, do it. The stylist are so nice and accommodating. Their advice is on point. One of the few salons in the city to have proper appointment system where you don't have to wait for hours after your appointment. Teya is super knowledgeable about her craft and the other stylists as well.

Loved how friendly they were. Love the way my curls came out. I will definitely be going again. My curls look healthier now!

I had the best experience of my life here. I came in with lifeless hair and not a clue how to treat or style it. I was treated so wonderfully, Liz was so informative, she shared the steps of the transition, products she used, and got different suggestions from other stylists on what would be the best option for me to revive my curls. I came in with photo references and everything was taken into account for my curly cut. Thank you Liz and Loribel, I loved coming here and will return.

Today was my first time visiting Miss Rizos after following its founder for a long time and Taja did not disappoint when she styled my new box braids. Well worth the nearly $300 I spent. Definitely coming back in the future for a curly cut and style.

Great salon very professional and they respect your appointment time. I got the wash and go by a different stylist. She was young and new to working there. She combed my curls out at the root (lifted I guess) which I didn’t like, the first time I went this didn’t happen. My service was supposed to come with a scalp brush and she didn’t give me one (which I don’t mind because I have one but still). The stylist was great in waking me through the porosity and quality of my hair, but she wasn’t as thorough as the first stylist I had as far as recommended producers. Still overall a great experience and the results were nice.
