So far communications have been absolutely wonderful! Feeling very positive about Doctor Tro’s app & practice. After being part of this app and practice for several months now I couldn’t be happier to be a part of Dr. Tro’s mission to help make his patients metabolically healthy! His entire staff is the best out there. I honestly feel like my life has never been in better hands!

Dr. Tro is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors I've had. He cares deeply and can emphathize because of his own health history. He won't just give a cursory glance at your labs and throw over some meds. He will help you dig into your health issues and make appropriate lifestyle changes to heal and reverse your conditions where possible.

Dr. Tro has been a true godsend for me. I use the app and follow the guidelines and have lost over 65 pounds in 10 months!!! No other “diet” or doctor had been able to do this!! Great job Dr. Tro and Staff and THANK YOU for all you do!!!

Dr. Tro and his team are so caring. Nice to work with people who have overcome similar struggles. They are not a one size fits all practice; they care and support the entire person not just symptoms. Love the app and the fact everyone in the practice is continuously learning, reading research, and open minded. I highly recommend this practice.

While I am not a patient of his practice, I do follow his public outreach efforts. His information on proper diet to regain and maintain your health is spot on. I would recommend for everyone to see what he is doing to help people and if they really need help themselves to reach out to his practice for medical advice. Thank you, Tro, for all you do.

The last 9 months of working with the Dr Tro team has been really life changing for me. I've lost 50 lbs and my nagging achilles tendon, adult acne, and other inflammation has totally resolved. My lab results are all improving rapidly and my relationship with food is changing. I'm located in the Southeast and working with the Tro team remotely. Having the community via the app, weekly calls, small group coaching, and the focused help of a health coach has helped me move out of isolation and into connection. Dr. Tro is deeply knowledgable, innovative, generous with his time, and out there advocating and pioneering a far better way to do medicine. For the first time in my 50 yrs I feel I have a partner in my health rather than both myself and the doctor being cogs in the machine. I love that he stands up for what he believes in and is out there putting himself on the line so we all can have better health care options. The coaches and the office team are equally wonderful! I also love that Tro, Amy, and others on the team have lived the process and been obese themselves and are now fit and healthy... having someone who walks the walk and shines the light down the path for those traveling with them is so helpful.

Dr Tro’s app has helped me with educating myself on nutrition and health. His team is amazing and very supportive. The weekly meetings are support informative, it’s a great community to be a part of. If you need help reclaiming your health, he’s your guy.

Dr. Tro is my younger brother first and foremost, but he's more than that. He's been my moral compass, my comrade, best friend, and while I was out-of-country he was, from a distance, my personal trainer, nutritionist, and health coach. Having experience childhood obesity together, although through different lenses, I see how he has integrated his personal experiences to make personal empathetic connections with people; how his pursuit of truth has lead him to call-out many physicians who are working solely for their own interest and not for the oath they swore to; I see him consistently remain at the cutting-edge of research that gets published in the field of metabolism, diabetes, obesity, and share in his frustration of simplified headlines in the media, and poor decisions by government officials. I wouldn't recommend him simply because of nepotism, ever. I recommend him because he is NOT someone who will prescribe you something you don't need, will advocate to and take time to listen to your needs, and has sacrificed taking overpriced health insurance payments so that he doesn't need to answer to anyone but his PATIENTS. He is a true doctor.

Dig deeper yourself to get a current and accurate understanding of the knowledge he brings to the table (somewhat literally). I found Dr Tro’s app at a pivotal time of discouragement. Attempting to demonstrate less addictive behavior with regards to eating, I set four months aside to exclude gluten from my diet. I encountered Dr Tro’s instruction after my first month. Hearing his perspective was helpful.

Dr. Tro is a great clinician in the sense that he has the drive to learn and do ongoing research in metabolic disease and takes the time to translate his ongoing research in a personalized way to his patients. He has great bedside manner, and his support staff are prompt, responsive and supportive. This is so reassuring when looking for a patient-doctor relationship.
