This
is
a
good
practice
with
good
doctors.
However,
there
are
administrative
system
issues
that
should
be
fixed,
for
example
the
booking
system
doesn't
allow
for
more
than
2
months
in
advance.
This
surgery
is
in
Primary
Care
Network
3
which
is
part
of
Barnet
Federated
GPs.
The
networking
of
Primary
Care
is
a
requirement
of
Integrated
Care
Systems,
these
are
the
very
foundations
of
the
system.
Registration
with
this
surgery
places
you
in
the
North
Central
London
Integrated
Care
System.
This
system
is
based
on
U.S
for-profit
Accountable
Care
Organisations,
a
more
recent
incarnation
of
Health
Maintenance
Organisations/Managed
Care
Organisations.
It's
extremely
important
when
dealing
with
clinical
pharmacists
to
ensure
that
they
are
not
from
Medicine
Optimisation
teams
in
house
or
third
party
providers
like
UnitedHealth
Group
-
Optum
Health
Solutions
UK.
It's
also
important
to
keep
pressure
on
the
practice
to
not
employ
any
Physician
Associates
or
unqualified
unregistered
nurses.
We
must
also
ensure
that
the
practice
doesn't
merge
with
other
practices,
to
form
a
commercial
for-profit
super
practice.
The
North
Central
London
Integrated
Care
system
uses
Oracle
Cerner
for
its
population
health
management
-
this
system
risk
stratifies
and
segments
the
population
-
it
is
highly
predicted
of
cost,
expensive
patients
are
pushed
into
the
hands
of
care
coordinators
-
again
make
sure
this
care
coordination
is
in
house
and
not
Thrid
party.
However
it's
important
to
know
that
The
Speedwell
Practice
uses
Patients
Know
Best
-
this
application
that
has
been
integrated
into
the
NHS
app
and
uses
risk
and
reward
sharing
arrangements
-
everytime
a
saving
is
made
-
this
could
be
from
letters
being
delivered
electronically
or
hospital
admissions
avoided
-
the
savings
are
then
shared
between
all
parties
apart
from
the
patient.
Patients
in
the
NCL
ICS
get
no
share
of
the
savings.
Fundamentally,
what
I'm
trying
to
say
is
do
not
be
ignorant
to
this
dangerous
for-profit
model
of
care.
Integrated
care
systems
uses
extremely
perverse
and
complex
risk-reward
sharing
arrangements
in
all
areas
of
its
system.
This
leads
to
an
increase
in
transactional
costs
-
the
North
Central
London
Integrated
Care
System
rations
removes
and
restricts
Healthcare
provision.
So
please
do
not
blame
the
practice
for
refferals
being
denied
to
secondary
care
and
or
treatments/prescriptions
not
available.
Secondary
care
referrals
can
be
denied
with
any
referral
service
whether
it's
UnitedHealth
Group
or
other
providers.
UnitedHealth
Group
is
vetting
refferals
in
Brent.
Quality
and
standards
are
lowered
-
premature
and
early
discharging
before
care
needs
have
been
assessed
is
now
permitted.
Please,
be
prepared
for
that
if
you
find
yourself
as
a
hospital
inpatient.
The
Royal
Free
NHS
Foundation
Trust
also
uses
America
healthcare
system
corporation
Cerner
for
its
electronic
patient
record
system.
Remember
you
can
opt-out
of
the
joined
up
healthcare
record
system.
Please,
contact
the
British
Medical
Association,
and
tell
them
to
rally
against
Primary
Care
Networks
so
we
can
destroy
the
very
foundations
and
hopefully
bring
about
NHS
renationalisation.
We
need
a
publicly
owned
and
publicly
operated
National
Health
Service
that's
fully
comprehensive,
fully
funded,
transparent
and
accountable
to
local
communities
and
of
course
not
for
profit.

#RenationaliseNHS
I
must
say
I
am
quite
upset
that
The
Speedwell
Practice
never
informed
any
of
it's
patients
on
this
dangerous
denationalised
americanised
National
Health
Service.
Please,
do
all
you
can,
write
to
your
councillors,
write
to
your
MP,
write
to
the
Barnet
Federation
of
Primary
Care
Networks,
and
write
to
the
Integrated
Care
System.
Tell
them
-
you
do
not
want
this
dangerous
U.S
for-profit
system
of
care
and
that
you
want
the
NHS
back.
