    Beautiful place. Went fishing on our way out of Pike's Peak. Caught a fish and thr kiddo caught two. Wish we had time to hike around the lake more.

    Beautiful lake. Had so much fun fishing here. There's a cabin/souvenir place up here that teaches kids and adults about Gold Rush and it's history. They make you dig for Gold in the little ponds they have for fun. Very scenic place and close to Pike's peak.

    If you want to experience calm and beauty, Crystal Creek Reservoir is the place to be. It's a place where most people come to have a quiet time, do fishing or a picnic. I visited this place in the autumn of 2014 when you can witness the varied colors of the flora in the backdrop. It looks like a painting 😍

    The lake was drained to fix a leak in the dam.  Nevertheless, the vastness of the reservoir is still a sight to behold.

    Best place to fish with kids...you will get the max allowed for your permit... We caught at least 3 trout an hr.... Love this place..great for begginers

    Went to Crystal Creek for trout fishing and caught several fish. The water was easily accessible and beautiful views all around.

    Nice place to stop on your trek to pikes peak, but not my favorite of all the mountain water reservoirs. Would not be very easily accessible to people in wheelchairs to get near the water as you have to go down steep hills of gravel to get near the water. No swimming or wading allowed because it is a source of drinking water for the area.

    They were doing some work on the dam side to seal it up, so the levels have been low for quite some time... but I think they are up now. BEAUTIFUL drive up Pikes Peak. Decent trout fishing here too.
