I
have
lived
in
many
apartments,
so
here
is
a
fair
and
honest
review
after
living
here
for
a
year.
Pros:
Location
is
amazing
especially
if
you
are
a
student
going
to
CSU.
Overall,
the
complex
is
pretty
quiet
and
I
never
heard
noise
after
10pm,
neighbors
keep
to
themselves.
Pool
is
decent,
gym
does
the
job,
maintenance
team
is
speedy
and
reliable
from
my
experience.
Free
parking
is
also
a
huge
plus.
Good
package
system.
Cons:
Bait
and
switch?
I
decided
to
move
in
with
a
friend
who
already
lived
in
this
complex
for
two
years.
On
multiple
occasions
before
move
in,
office
staff
told
me
that
I
would
not
have
to
pay
a
pet
or
security
deposit
because
my
friend
had
already
paid
this
for
her
old
unit
and
it
would
transfer
over.
This
is
what
pushed
me
to
sign
the
lease!
This
being
said,
we
were
shocked
to
be
charged
an
additional
$900
for
these
same
charges
a
day
after
move
in.
The
manager
told
us
there
was
nothing
he
could
do
and
it
was
a
mistake
that
this
was
promised
to
us,
but
this
set
us
back
financially
for
quite
a
while.
I
donāt
understand
how
you
can
promise
one
thing
and
do
another
with
no
consequences.
Unfair
pricing.
With
rent
and
utility
charges
included,
my
roommates
and
I
were
paying
$1800
for
the
two
bedroom
apartment.
This
price
is
going
up!
The
apartment
itself
was
outdated
with
many
issues
including
a
wall
ac
that
barely
blows
cold
air
past
the
living
room
(be
prepared
for
hot
summers!),
a
heater
that
doesnāt
actually
provide
consistent
heat
(also
cold
winters),
inadequate
insulation
(my
pillows
would
stick
to
my
bedroom
wall
due
to
ice
forming),
mold
in
various
places,
no
fire
extinguisher
in
the
unit,
and
random
things
always
breaking.
You
will
also
have
to
pay
to
wash
laundry
which
gets
expensive.
I
could
easily
go
to
a
similarly
priced
apartment
and
instantly
have
each
of
these
issues
solved.
Random
shut
offs
and
building
maintenance.
Pretty
frequently
I
experienced
water
shut
offs
and
building
maintenance
with
limited
warning.
This
usually
meant
not
being
able
to
shower
or
get
water
after
coming
home
from
work.
Usually
I
let
it
slide,
but
the
month
before
I
moved
out,
the
apartments
started
remodeling
a
bunch
of
units
which
I
was
given
no
warning
about
and
it
was
incredibly
loud
and
disruptive
(tossing
parts
of
walls
over
the
upstairs
balcony,
hitting
cars
and
people
below
with
debris,
and
drilling
noises
for
hours).
As
a
person
with
autism
who
is
sensitive
to
loud
noise,
I
was
pretty
upset.
Currently
very
worried
about
what
the
move
out
charges
will
look
like,
but
Iām
prepared
for
it
to
put
a
serious
(and
unnecessary)
dent
in
my
wallet.
Overall,
not
the
worst
apartment
Iāve
ever
lived
in
but
I
certainly
wouldnāt
consider
it
a
great
one.
I
hope
this
helps
someone!
