This place is evil. The staff is rude and totally have no empathy. Talk about REFUSAL OF TREATMENT. I went in and told them I had been having lung problems for the last year and my inhalers werenā€™t working and I couldnā€™t breathe after catching a virus. Do you know how scary it is to not be able to breathe? They made me sit there for four hours. Everyone on the ER staff had nasty attitudes and were rude and unhelpful. Very cold. I had a patient worried about me and treating me better asking if I was okay . I am not a hypochondriac either. Something was wrong with me. Waited four hours for ā€œKeith ā€œ to tell me there are no rooms and you have the flu there is nothing we can do for you. We can take X-rays but thereā€™s nothing we can do (so basically we donā€™t want to X-ray you). So thereā€™s nothing you can do for me not being able to breathe or pain in my lungs? Nope itā€™s because you have the flu . Take ibuprofen. Well duh. The fact that I had told them I have had lung issues for the past year and I couldnā€™t breathe should have caused some type of response. Mind you I have records of seeing a lung specialist all year. Mark my words your insensitivity will be your downfall and I wouldnā€™t be surprised if you all are hit with a lawsuit one of these days. How can you work in the ER and have no common consideration for people? So sad.

I have been a patient and visitor to the hospital many times over the years and when I've been asked to complete a review I had nothing but compliments for the service and treatment I received. However, my visit yesterday was entirely different. In fact, by the time I made it back to my car I was on the verge of tears because my treatment was so disrespectful, degrading and hurtful. But what made it even worse, it wasn't just one employee but everyone I came into contact with and started at the receptionist area. When I asked for wheelchair assistance to get to the admissions office it was made clear to me that I was an intrusion and interrupting a chat. After dealing with that disdain I was wheeled to the admissions office and left there. The admissions individual wanted to return a document to me but because I couldn't reach it, it fell on the floor between me and the desk. The individual said she didn't know what to do? I was trying to get out of the wheelchair but it wouldn't budge because the chair was only designed to be pushed, not operated by the individual in the chair. As the admissions individual just stood there, I managed to move the chair enough to finally get out of it and eventually maneuver to pick up the paper. Then I was wheeled to the waiting area and left there. In fact, the individual who was going to perform my test had to come get me. This individual was very kind and understanding. She even took off my necklaces and put them back on when we were done. Then a new trainee who was observing the testing wheeled me back to the admissions office and left me there with no one in the office. Eventually the same admissions person came in and informed me that there were more forms that needed my signature before the tests. After signing the forms the admissions clerk again can't figure out how to get me out of her office. She then has a discussion in front of me with her supervisor. They discussed the "problem" I had created. Finally the supervisor comes around and wheels me into the middle of the reception area and leaves! When I finally stood up to get ready to leave I had to hold onto the chair until I felt steady enough on my feet to walk to my car. The callousness, disrespect, and lack of common decency and kindness of the "care" displayed by your employees has brought me to tears as I write this review! In addition, I posted my comments here because nowhere on the Parker Adventist website is there a way for a patient to contact them.

Iā€™ve never had very good experiences here and was very hesitant when the ER we went to said theyā€™d be transferring my husband here. We went with it and should not have!! We spent 5+ hours in the room. Our nurse stopped in initially when my husband arrived and then she disappeared. Mind you we started this journey at 5am at the initial ER and were transferred to Parker Adventist at 1:30pm. My husband had gone without food or drink since 4am. We kept asking if he could get something to drink or eat since we had been told there would not be a surgery today. His nurse didnā€™t even come to the room just said over intercom no food. Come to find out at 7pm after I went to the nurses station and demanded someone come give us some answers that his nurse never asked the provider she just assumed he couldnā€™t have food or drink. The provider brought my husband a sandwich and some Gatorade after this interaction. Oh and we shut off the vital equipment and no one noticed. Needless to say we will never recommend or choose this facility.

If you have the choice, DO NOT go here for a mental health crisis. I was there as a support person for my partner and itā€™s a great place if you want the opposite of help. The older nurse was EXTREMELY rude, they continued to escalate the situation and make everything worse. Fortunately we were able to drop the M1 and go to a different hospital to get help. Absolutely appalled by the treatment he received there. I do want to note a younger nurse came in during shift change, moved him and had level headed nurses and security staff sit with us the remainder of the time he was there. Seriously crazy that not everyone had the decency to treat him like a freaking person.

BEWARE: Anything you pay prior to surgery is NOT counted towards out of pocket expenses - according the Parker Hospital they are prepayments and are not disclosed to the insurance company. This is not the only problem with this hospital, the nursing staff at night is made up of FEMA contracted nurses. However, even the employee nurses are rude and have no empathy and could not care less about you. I had just had major intestinal surgery and the IV machine that administered pain medication would sound an alarm every time I pressed the plunger for the medication. One of the nurses, which I had for 5 days in a row, would let that alarm go off for upwards of an hour before he would come in and turn it off - during that time I could not self administer pain medication with the plunger. This happened every time I pressed the plunger. Instead of getting a machine that worked, his solution was to show me how to turn off the alarm. I don't know how many of you have had your stomach sliced open, but I can tell you moving after words is very painful... So, reaching over to turn off an alarm on the IV machine, especially when you are not getting the pain medication is excruciating. This place was pure torture - physically and psychologically. The Doctors are great and everyone other than the nurses in the hospital were great. However, they are completely over shadowed by the nursing staff. I would never use this hospital for surgery again. I have also noticed that in the last couple of weeks the rating for this hospital went from 3.1 to 4.4 and many of the negative reviews went away - 3.1 is definitely more accurate. Especially after talking to other people that have recently been in this hospital - every one of them had a horrible experience. Go to Sky Ridge Hospital - save yourself!

We had an earring back stuck in my ten year old daughterā€™s ear. 2.5 hours in a tiny waiting room that you donā€™t know is that tiny or how many people will be before you until you are all checked in. Once I saw the waiting room, I panicked and they acted a little annoyed when I asked how long the wait time was. They had no idea. I wish they would have mentioned it was a two hour wait before I signed. I would have left then but I wasnā€™t sure if my insurance was already dinged. Then I had to beg to get some food and water for my daughter because I was going to be checked out if we walked out the hall to grab a water from the vending machine though she hadnā€™t had a drink in three hours. After two hours, we finally get admitted and then we wait 20 minutes before someone comes in, then 40 minutes until they come back with numbing cream, then 40 minutes to check how the numbing cream was. Then 40 minutes to find a nurse that could come and try to pull it out. The staff I did interact with were fantastic, kind and professional but we were there for five hours for something that collectively took 15 minutes to fix. My neck hurts from all of the sitting. I get that itā€™s an ER and they are busy but not every ER is this busy and thatā€™s why I recommend never going there unless absolutely there are no other options. My son once went for what I thought was blood in his stool five years ago (it wasnā€™t thankfully) but that was a five hour process too with a baby, that might have been worse actually. Next time I would try the hospital off of Arapahoe, I went in with my husband and it was an hour tops for the whole experience, they got us in right away in a nice comfy room with a bed and the nurse and doctor were super attentive and did not leave us for hours at a time.

I was hit by a vehicle while walking on a crosswalk. I was brought to this hospital by ambulance. The nurses and doctors were extremely attentive. They were quick on getting all the necessary tests to make sure I was okay. In particular my nurse Lauren went above and beyond, making sure I was comfortable. They made a scary experience not as scary. I knew I was being taken care of. Thank you.

I'd give zero stars if it was an option. The mental health staff here is a joke! Wasted two trips and many hours seeking help for a family member experiencing uncharacteristic, unpredictable and scary behavior for days! Not only were we turned away for help, but told we were being played! All they payed attention to was a clean drug test. I swear people, I've witnessed serious mental health issues my entire adult life, and this place is totally negligent towards those needs. We were NOT heard here! Don't waste your time or money! We called Denver Springs and got in immediately. Found out a psychotic experience was occurring and the treatment was prolonged for days due to the Dr's negligence.

Phylis in Radiology was incredibly unprofessional. I asked her about scheduling my daughter for an MRI for her knee and explained health images sent us there as the health images that is next door doesnā€™t provide MRIā€™s. She proceed to explain the use health images for breast imaging only and at no point addressed my request to schedule an MRI for my kiddos knee. Then a coworker came into her office and Phylis proceed to tell the coworker, ā€œsee what o have to deal withā€, I told her if she actually listened sheā€™d have better communication and sheā€™d be more efficient at her job. She then threatened to call security on me. Absolutely the wrong person working in a hospital where empathy, compassion and listening is crucial.

I went in for surgery on my cervical spine. Everyone was so kind & supportive. They really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Georgette in pre-op was amazing, as was Kendal, the night nurse. Melissa, the OT, was also great. Even the cleaning person & the food delivery people were wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am very grateful for the care that I received at this beautiful facility.

If you have a choice, go to sky ridge! Just had surgery Wednesday 23rd and everyone was great UNTIL recovery. The 2 nurses on duty were rude horrible snd only cared about getting you out asap! I was over medicated and couldn't wake up. They were shouting st me and trying to get me out even though I was in obvious distress. It was night and day compared to Skyridge where the hospital staff was amazing caring and patient. Zero stars if possible. They were laughing and making fun of the fact that I was so drowsy. It was a demeaning and horrible experience!

Normally this hospital is wonderful but whoever was doing triage 8/11/23 was a complete nightmare. So rude, no bedside manner and she took at least 3 people ahead of me who were walking around fine, no injuries no hacking coughs. I, on the other hand, can hardly walk because of my kidney stones, back and chest pain. Thanks Parker.

Iā€™m here with my son in the ER just looking around the room, Iā€™ve never seen such a filthy room, from floor to doors, walls, bed frame, literally everything you see is filthy. This hospital just doesnā€™t make you feel the confort youā€™re looking for on a bad day. I would never come here again if I have the choice, wait time is unbelievable once in the room. I can just go on and on with this horrible experience.

They left my mom in the ER for 5 days with a previous recent history of infection, they finally moved her to a room, she had cellulitis, recent history of pnuemonia, recent uti, 77 years old, not that old. It's neglectful even after her room admittance for an infection. No nurses around, she needed help eating. What are you doing, why are you in the business of hospital? Nurses station just sat there not at all busy but neglectful. Don't bring your loved ones here, ever. Hospitals have the responsibility of containing infectious diseases like MRSA an antibiotic resistant bacteria, no precautions were taken for reoccurring infection, Swedish Medical Center isn't neglectful, they'll treat elderly and have had great success stories.

As a note I have been a nurse for 30 years. Went to ER I knew I had a DVT needed an ultrasound to confirm it was positive. Gave them the pharmacy that stocked the required drug they sent the Rx elsewhere that could not get it for 5 days. Called 4 times to get it sent to the correct pharmacy they never did. Called because they have a lot of incorrect information in my chart they said there was nothing they could do to correct it. Called patient advocacy 3 times no response. House supervisor 2 times no response. Medical director 2 times no response. Completely substandard care!!!

Advent Health Parker, Colorado 9395 Crown Crest Blvd, Parker, CO 80138 Advent Health can be a little confusing so I recommend getting clarification ahead of time on both the address and the name of the building one is to go to. I was not the patient so I cannot speak to what it is like being a patient there. Being directed and redirected and directed again to different buildings took around 30 minutes to find the correct location. There is the Alpine building, Peak building, Sierra building, and Emergency ER entrance. For patients, those transporting patients, friends, family, and caregivers they have a patient services that will help one know where patients are in the process (in facility, preparing for procedure, procedure in progress, recovering, preparing for home, extended recovery, discharged from recovery, in operating room, etc.). They have multiple seating areas including some with fire places for ambient light and fish tanks to help break up spaces that would otherwise be overwhelming and noisy. The volunteers were nice and very helpful. I am thankful they were there.

The ABSOLUTE worst hospital I have been to. It is funny this hospital makes a big deal about compassion when it is seriously something it lacks. Jordan the blonde ICU nurse and I didn't get the name of the girl who helped her, she has a sleeve tattoo with color and I believe is blonde too were the worst nurses my boyfriend had during his stay. Jordan would make a face every time I asked her to help my boyfriend as he was unable to really do anything on his own. Jordan was the worst part of the ICU during our stay. We received medical records and they are all wrong. They have his age wrong, the event that actually took place wrong, and so much more. They don't listen at all. They make all these small mistakes but they matter and make a difference. There were a few ICU nurses that I was thankful for Logan, Ashleigh, McKayla? (I think) she's a taller slim built with brown hair, and the red headed lady whose name I can't remember but it starts with a M. The nurse leader with the dark hair, dark beard and all is the absolute worse as well. We will NEVER return to this hospital again due to the poor staff and lack of inability to listen and document things properly. Thank you for the staff in the ICU who was helpful. You are appreciated. Take your family members elsewhere if possible.

This review is for oncologist Stacy Parker Brueggemann. If I could post zero starts, I would. She diagnosed my husband with stage 3, possibly 4 cancer. She never took into account the fact that he was HPV positive which is a game changer in head and neck cancer. As we got more and more opinions, she became more and more dead wrong in her diagnosis. She did not even know all the details of his cancer as the pet scan had some vague findings and was all ready to blast him with maximum doses of chemo and radiation. After seeing a specialist in Florida, we learned he is an excellent candidate for a very specialized surgery and was diagnosed as stage 1. After his visit to MD Anderson in Houston, they confirmed this after seeing 7 doctors there, they too said he was stage 1 and was not even a candidate for chemo. At best, after surgery, he may need some light radiation. There is a good chance he will need no radiation at all. I am appalled at how eager Stacy Parker was to begin a treatment that could have had drastic consequences on my husbandā€™s health. I feel for all the people who cannot fathom that a so called doctor could be so wrong and just go along with whatever is said. She should have her medical license revoked. I say this in defense and as a warning to anyone who seeks medical care from her.

I almost died and lost my life in a severe car accident. (Mind you extreme pain from head to to toes, can barely move my toes or walk). I had to wait over 2 hrs to be seen. People who had came in after me with less severe injuries were seen before me. When I asked how many people were ahead of me the nurse was extremely rude. I do NOT recommend this hospital, as they have no hospitality or sense of urgency for being an emergency room/ hospital.

Had surgery at this hospital and will never come back to this place again. The charge nurse is the rudest most incompetent person Iā€™ve ever met in my entire life. GO ELSEWHERE drive to centennial or sky ridge you will be treated so much better and nurses actually care about you at these hospitals!

I went to er and was immediately admitted. I was there for surgery for a few days and all my nurses and drs were absolutely wonderful and very patient with my care and questions. I had the same surgery with robotics as my son's mother -in-law and I was out and doing great by myself in 2 days. I had to wear and change dressing to make sure there was no more bleeding. She had surgery with non robotics and had a 5 -6 week recovery period. Even if I had had the non-robotics surgery I would still recommend this hospital for the great drs and nurses.

I wrote a scathing review of this hospitals ER. After waiting for four plus hours in the waiting room. I asked for a supervisor, I was ignored. After another 45 minutes I am finally taken back to a room. Once the doctor comes in, wow was the Doctor the only saving grace. Was kind and listened, got to a treatment plan. If it was not for the doctor I would have given one star. The doctor was amazing

This review is specifically in regards to the care that my parents received in the emergency department after a motor vehicle accident in August 2023. Mary, RN was the nurse caring for my parents at this time. Upon arriving to the ER, my parents were dropped off into their patient rooms with no explanation of what had just occurred. They were extremely confused in a lot of pain and suffering from vertigo. The nurse was nowhere in sight, and I had to come in to visit my parents , not understanding fully what the situation was. After a long period of time the nurse finally came in and handed me admission paperwork to fill out. I called my sister to help in the other room where my dad was. They were both seriously traumatized by being T-boned in their car & flipping a multitude of times, all Mary could do was worry about how many visitors were in the room- how about worry about airway, breathing or circulation? At one time I believe it was my sister, my husband and I. Which is actually only one person over their limit. She treated us as if we had just committed a felony for having an additional person in the room. She cared more about that than she did about my parents, pain and suffering at that moment in time. No compassion to speak of. Iā€™ve never seen such a brash and mean person. She didnā€™t listen to my momā€™s reports of pain and wouldnā€™t even assist my dad who had glass in his mouth to help rinse it out. They both had cervical collars on as they were waiting imaging results yet she had them turning their heads and taking Tylenol on their own without assistance. This could have damaged any cervical injury they could have had at that time. In addition to that, they just attempted to hardly pass my parents through the ED and discharge them. We kept telling them that my mom had chest pain and Mary did not do anything about that. Finally, we got the ED doc involved and explained the severity of her chest pain to encourage some kind of cardiac work up. the doctor finally did that and we found that my mom had sustained cardiac injury during the accident. Mary had not told the doctor of any of the reports of the chest pain. She could have killed my mom with this negligence. I am so disappointed in advent health for not doing the proper follow up with their emergency room, nurses, and ensuring that they are competent in their practice. This couldā€™ve been a detrimental circumstance, if it were not for my siblings, and I, ensuring that our parents were taken care of. Moreover, that wouldnā€™t have happened if we didnā€™t continue to stay in the room, ask questions (which was conflicting what we were being told to do by Mary.) please if you visit this hospital make sure that you are aware of whatā€™s going on and be aware of the nurse, Mary. She is not a safe/ competent nurse.

I absolutely love Parker Advent Health Hospital the staff here is amazing everyone is so nice and helpful. I had a procedure to do in the heart center. I was uneasy and was unsure what was going to happen. A very nice gentleman Connor who on my first visit was the one that helped me out the first time I came. I really appreciated him. Then I was introduced to another very nice gentleman. Chris and they made me feel as though I was a part of the team. Hats off to Dr. Cedrone who performed the procedure before I even knew what was happening it was over with. The doctor explained everything that he did. Then I met Leslie Cath Lab operating nurse she was wonderful. I know these are nurses with exceptional skills. Very exceptional to make me feel at ease during this procedure. You have to be special to deal with so many patients and yet still have the patience of Job with big smiles and even bigger hearts. This is one of the reasons why I give Parker Adventist five stars and a shout out to the Cath Lab staff who really does a wonderful job. Shout out to my new friends Thank you and Merry Christmas Angels!

Just had our third baby here, which now makes two that weā€™re born here and the first one elsewhere (and the experience elsewhere was terrible tbh). We knew this hospital and staff were great the first time we were here, but having a fantastic experience again the second time proves that this wasnā€™t just coincidence. The staff here is excellent, and we couldnā€™t have asked for better care. Also the food was delicious, we ate here the whole time and didnā€™t even bother ordering out, because for the $7 bucks it was a hell of a deal for what we would get (my wife ate for free, the $7 was for any guests like me). I recommend the breakfast burrito and the garlic olive oil flat bread pizza, two of my faves. The room is great and we had an epic view of Pikes Peak both times we stayed here. Pull out couch isnā€™t a bed, but considering no one is sleeping with a new born anyway it didnā€™t matter for the couple hours I got to pass out between shifts. Thumbs up and high five to the wonderful CPAH staff, nurses, lactation specialists, and Pediatric Doctors. If we ever have a fourth baby it will be here, but three might be it for us lol.

I wish that I could report the review below was written because I was cranky from being sick. Definitely not the case. After having a horrible 3 day hospital stay, I knew at discharge that I was still not well and was being sent home prematurely. That was in spite of my pointing out significant risk factors to the cocky PA Elizabeth. I continued to worsen at home, eventually being re- hospitalized by my primary care. I am still at UC Hospital in Highlands Ranch, there is no comparison in the level of care and competency. Not even in the same ballpark. From being treated kindly and compassionately by aides and nurses, to having attentive and competent internists directing diagnostics and treatment, I am able to relax and trust that my medical needs are being met. The first night here, I had one of the best nights sleep of my life, and that has continued. At Parker, I slept a total of 8 - 9 hours in the ENTIRE 3 days. One example of how being cared for appropriately will manifest. Iā€™ve lost so much time, including a much anticipated trip, because I went to the wrong hospital. I only wish that I could do more to warn people about not going to AdventHealth at Parker. From a week ago: My God. Look at the reviews for this hospital! I came here to write my own negative review only to find multiple stories of horrible experiences, year after year. How is this possibly okay with their leadership? I, personally, wish that I could have told the ambulance to drive right on by to any hospital other than this one. Unfortunately, I am not a stranger to being hospitalized. I didnā€™t know such an abysmal experience was possible in an institution thats sole purpose is to care for people that are in need of medical services. In my opinion, hospitalists should be doctors, or the care should be turned over to an MD once the case appears to be complicated. Instead, I got a smug, condescending P.A., named Elizabeth, who did not listen, but was certain she knew everything. I found most, not all, of the nursing staff and aides to be dismissive and uncaring. The environment was not clean, housekeeping took out some of the trash in my room daily, but that was it. The only thing worse than being sick is being sick in a place where you feel like your discomfort is a bother to the people who are being paid to provide care to you. I donā€™t understand a company that seemingly does not care that a whole community would rather go to any hospital other than this one. I would never return to this hospital, no matter how conveniently it is located.

Overall, my experience was positive. However, their website's "tool" for documenting meds and OTC products is abysmal. As far as I can tell, the only way to change dosage of an already identified med (at the old dose) and then add the med (at the new dose). The "tool" for documenting meds does not facilitate good patient care, it acts to defeat it. That system cause confusion both at the PAT and the day of surgery. I suspect some day there will be a negative outcome due solely to the design of that tool. I can't image a valid defense of the tool, but I suspect such an attempt will be made.

Wanted to write this review finally, this happened to me a little while ago but i will never forget the treatment i received at this hospital. Please find another hospital if you can this place and it's employees are horrible and DO NOT CARE!!! Came here during the pandemic with 104 fever could barely stand or speak and was pale white. My boyfriend had to help me in, they wheeled me back and forgot all about me in that room, when the nurse came back in she was asking me lots of questions while preparing an IV and then when she finally got to "are you vaccinated " and i said no, she packed it all up and said the doctor would be with me soon. When the doctor FINALLY showed up, DR. ENGLAND, he was extremely unprofessional, treated me horribly and did not take my situation or symptom's seriously. I had troubles getting up and all he did was yell at me to hurry and sit up saying "come on you're fine". Treated me like i was a burden, and said to just take some ibuprofen and get an inhaler from a drug store. I was there for 3 HOURS by myself with no treatment and i saw the doctor and nurse for about 10 minutes total IF THAT. During my stay doctors and security were wrestling another patient right outside of the room, who was screaming and begging to get let out of the hospital. It was like a nightmare. I was finally able to leave and then they charged me 1,000.

Do not under any circumstances take your children or loved ones to this horrible place for behavioral health. They will take your rights away. Took our child here and the Social worker named Teresa told my child so many lies about how she was feeling. My kid ended up being taken from us for 72hrs! Scared her half to death, and this trauma was completely unnecessary. We will be filing a formal complaint against this place. Do not take children here!!!!

My Mom and I had an excellent experience with this hospital this past week. From check-in to admission to prep, surgery and release... everyone we encountered was just a pleasure to deal with. Nurse Georgette, a special thanks to you for trying to put Mom at ease and lessen her nervousness šŸ’œ And last but certainly not least, a big thank you to Dr. Lee. You're a lovely person and wonderful doctor, so very glad we found you. Thank you all!

I cannot say enough positive things about the Mom/Baby and NICU staff at this hospital. My daughter was severely ill and my granddaughter was born 2 months early. The care, compassion, love and kindness that have been shown exceed any expectations I have from the best of the best. Every staff member demonstrated they genuinely care about the patient and their families. They truly listened to her/us and answered every question with honesty and accuracy. We knew what to expect and felt completely connected throughout our stay. Staff transition at shift changes were transparent, we knew who was coming/going at all times (at least we never felt any chaos if there was any). Our GB is still in NICU and I have no doubt she is in amazing hands. Thank you Parker Adventist for taking such great care of our family. You set the bar high in your field!
