I came in today with 3 rings. Gary was extremely friendly and professional. I thought all 3 rings were 10 karat gold, but after he tested them, it turned out 2 of them were 14 karat gold. Second visit to Gold Rush on Wadsworth with some old family silver to sell.Gary treated me well and I left with some cash and a smile on my face! I had a great experience here selling some old gold that was gathering dust. Gary took time to talk through the selling process and tested each piece, explaining what he was doing as he added chemicals to the gold residue to assess purity. The whole thing took about 20 minutes and I walked out with cash in my pocket and a smile on my face! I will definitely return with more items.

Went here to sell jewelry we found in our deceased grandma's jewelry box. The guy running it (Gary) was very nice and gave us a good deal on what we brought in. Ended up getting 70% of the money that the jewelry was worth. (The jewelry was around $400 some dollars and we ended up with $300) Nice place, nice employee, and good deals. :)

I visited Gold Rush in Lakewood today. I was a little nervous since this was my first time trying to sell something. I didn't want to haggle or be taken advantage of . James was very nice. He appraised my item and told me honestly that the price he could give me probably wouldn't be satisfactory to me. He said I could probably get a better price by selling it online. That was very refreshing to hear. I felt like he had my best interests in mind. Although I didn't end up walking away with cash as I'd hope, it was a very pleasant and no-pressure experience. Before you sell your gold to Gary at Gold Rush in Lakewood, you should know the weight and value of the jewellery piece. This means you may bargain, rather than accept his first offer, which will be a low ball offer. Knowing the value of your item will help you negotiate the best price. First and foremost, a pawn shop will offer you the least amount of money for whatever item you bring them. They will offer you less regardless of the current market price for 14k gold. If you’re selling, the only way to do better is to sell privately. You should ask for around half of the current resale value. The response from The Gold Rush Team to my honest review is a joke! Ha ha ha… what a clowns with big nasty mouth. it’s not a FAKE REVEW, I never solicited any people on a parking lot, I don’t have a Russian website and my name is not Anton Grigorev! The Gold Rush is the Scammer, because everything they said about me is not true and they know that very well ! And l am not RUSSIAN by the way!

Recently went in to this location earlier today and it was an excellent experience. Gary was there at the door to greet me, very friendly guy, easy to talk to. The place was also very clean and warming. He was able to walk me through the steps of how they grade gold and showed me hands on what I had brought in. I'd highly recommend stopping by if you have any gold to sell.

Gary took a great deal of time with us, assessing each of the many pieces of jewelry we brought in. He educated us as he went along. He gave us a great deal on everything he could buy and he gave us good advice on the items he couldn’t purchase.
