We had a tour with lovely Iva who showed us the old town of Zadar. It was an informative two hour tour with pictures along the sightseeing to get a better impression how it looked before. Definitely worth doing it on your first/second day of stay. Great introduction and opportunity to get some tips from locals.

I took the free walking tour of Zadar on July 2nd with Eva and it was awesome! Eva was super kind, friendly, and knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun. I also learned a lot about the history of Zadar and Croatia in general which was very cool. You can tell she knows a lot about the city and works hard to make the tours fun and engaging. I also followed her recommendation for ice cream and it was awesome. Thank you Eva!

Sandra has been the best tourist guide we have ever had. So far in our trip. It has brought us closer to the history and places of Zadar in a close, fun and interesting way. The tour has lasted almost 2 and a half hours as she went out of her way to answer people's questions. It is highly recommended to take the tour to get to know everything you need in the city. We have been delighted. At the end of the tour, we would love speak even more and know more, but we was in a hurry. Thank you!!

Today I learnt (I was gonna say a bit but it was more than that) a lot about Zadar! And all thanks to Iva! The tour took around 1:40 minutes and it was filled with amazing sights and Iva amazing explanations and jokes! Definitely gonna try these tours in other cities like Split and Dubrovnik! 🙏🏼

Eva was very lovely :) She shared awesome history starting from the Roman times in the old forum of the city to the time of the Venetians and a tiny bit of when Napoleon conquered the Venetians & took over Zadar and then Italian fascism, German nazism, Yugoslavian communism, and then what Zadar is today since the 90s. As a big history nerd and a free walking tour guide back home in Canada, this was a very well made tour. Eva was a great speaker and very friendly as well, one of our favourites on our trip so far :)

Highly recommend! It was one of the best city tours and I’ve been to several in different countries. Tanja was great - positive, knowledgeable, ready to answer to all questions. She had this book with pictures to help us visualize different phases of the city architecture. She also gave good local restaurant and cheese shop.

I did the tour with Tanja and she was amazing. The tour shows important places throughout the old town of Zadar, gives ideas on what to see and visit around Zadar as well as recommendations where to eat. I like the mixture of historic overview and little anecdotes. She is open for questions and very nice.

Went on an English tour with Andria, it was amazing. He was humorous yet informative. He is able to answer our questions and he's also as curious as us. He even recommended some local stops for food and drinks on his little notebook. Double thumbs up from us! Love from Malaysia.

My girlfriend and I did the walking tour in Zadar with Eva. I have to say the experience was excellent. Eva possesses excellent English, has a very outgoing personality and as a result is very engaging and witty, is more than willing to answer any questions no matter how obscure and is very informed about the cities local history and culture. Really enjoyed the tour with Eva today, not only did she provide an interesting and engaging tour that helped you to get to know the Old Town and it's history, but she was also really great at making everyone feel welcome and encouraging us all to talk with each other. This made a massive difference to me as a solo traveler, and from this I met a lady who I then went on to spend the rest of the day with, with was lovely. Would highly recommend Free Spirit tours, the third I've been on in Croatia and all have been brilliant!
