The domestic atmosphere, excellent food, peka is made in a Dalmatian way. Clean toilets, fresh inside (Air condition) and shade outside. Very friendly and welcoming staff. For private parties they have Bluetooth speakers available. You can play 'balote' nearby, they have the field for bocce.

Incredible dining experience at Konoba Šponde. The sea bream was as fresh as possible and maybe the best fish we’ve ever had. The owner was very attentive and welcoming. You’re missing out if you don’t eat here and you’re nearby.

We had such a wonderful experience at Konoba Sponde. The waiter was very friendly, the atmosphere is very nice and a huge plus, there was free parking. We were recommended traditional local starters and main fish dishes and they were absolutely to die for. It was the best stuffed squid I have ever tasted. I highly recommend this family owned taverna to everyone who wants to try high quality local Dalmatian dishes for a very good price. Looking forward to coming back again soon 😊

Simply perfect, i arrive in croacia 10 days ago and i make restaurants on pula, zagreb, rijeca, zadar, split and this is the best of the best. Place lovely, owner friendly and food incredible. my advice , take the car and drive 20 minutes from split and try. Thanks you

Tasty local food. We ordered grilled meat with home made pottoes, vegetables risotto and grilled squid with boiled swiss chard, local Croatian meals. It was well prepared, meat had some special pieces rarelly found on a plate in restaurant, like veal liver, it is rather found in home made food. If you want their famous Croatian traditional meal "peka" which is either veal, lamb or squid with potatoes under steal cover made on fire, then you need to order it over phone in advance as it takes 4h to prepare it. Recommend it for local food. Thier home made wine (Chardonay) was excelent! The waiter was more than a kind!

We were a group of 9 with no reservation so the wait was a bit long after we ordered but definitely worth it Everybody enjoyed their meal. The food was very tasteful, perfectly seasoned. Big servings. Quality ingredients. Also the place, especially outdoors, is inviting. Although we were a large group of people, the owner was patient and helpful. Thank you. Totally recommend ✨

Went on Sat and thought it would be busy but there were only us and another table so bit quiet for a Sat. The mixed grill platter was amazing and pancakes for dessert were lush too (gone so quick didn't get to take a pic! Friendly service, nice local feel. Cash only!
