Horrible hotel in every manner! A/c didn't work! Shower doesn't drain! Dirty shower! Food is horrible and tastes like it's been cooked 20 years ago! And worst out of all; when I complained and tried to video it and get a refund one of their staff was violent towards me. Had to call the police to arrest him. This is no 4 star hotel. Not even one. Good luck to whoever books there.

Unfriendly reception, small rooms without a view, soft something mattresses, in the bathroom opened the toilet lid and still stuck urine and hair on it. The room walls so thin that you can hear the neighbor breathing. Sauna 80 kuna the hour per person 😂. Breakfast is a joke. A minus four star hôtel. One night and not a second longer in this cave. Avoid this hotel, it is just terrible.

Service is friendly but unprofessional. People clearly have no experience in hospitality. This place felt like the world 50 years ago, but a shabby version. We visited as couple with 2 year old child. A/C wasn't working, they said it was temporary and got fixed. There is a previous review from someone else from July that already stated a broken A/C. So it's definitely not temporary. Our room, 106, was 30°C hot as it's facing the afternoon/evening sun. Outside temperature was 34°C when we arrived at 7:30pm. In the morning, the room was 29°C. Sleeping was impossible, we were completely soaked. Opening windows is not an option as the room faces a main junction and street lights from right outside the room shine right into the bed. Checked out early (6:30am) as we couldn't sleep. Reception doesn't open before 7am. The cleaning lady was helpful in calling the boss and negotiating a price for us but we should have paid even less. The shower water doesn't drain (see photo, taken after a quick 3min shower). Beds are old, short, uncomfortable and worn out mattresses.

Room was just ok (a bit of noise from the street, semi warm water in the shower) which is surprise for 4* hotel. Breakfast was terrible (bad Coffee, fruit basket you have to peel on your own, burnt scrabled eggs). I left my perfume water and nobody contacted me, hotel staff confirmed that they have it after i called them one week after my visit. Would not recommend staying here.

I was only in a restaurant where I was served by pleasant staff, surprised by the calm atmosphere and the semi-open terrace. This restaurant is famous for its sweet and savory pancakes. I haven't tried the whole offer yet but a few of them are really very tasty.

Such a nice place in Ogulin to visit. Kind of mystical being placed right beside the castle in an historical building. Great food as well, really worth visiting if you're in Ogulin, the city of fairy tales. :)

BEST food ever, honestly! Rooms are also beautiful and super comfy, but the food is divine. Wonderful staff helps you feel at home in this undiscovered gem.

Nice castle hotel with a pretty good restaurant. The location is perfectly central near the gorge and the river head waters. Cool place.
