The absolute best and must-visit fast food place in Dubrovnik. Everything tastes utterly good and is way cheaper compared to Old Town- restaurants. They make your burger/sandwich in front of you and ask which toppings you want (salad, onion, tomato etc.) You can also choose whether you want to have ketchup or mayonnaise. You can not eat here as it's more like a take away- kiosk. We took our sandwiches with us and went to eat them to nearby beach/docs. Visited here twice since food was super tasty and inexpensive. The sandwich bar staff was very friendly and spoke good english. This place definitely earns its 5 star review.

This place seems too good to be true. Nope it is alllllll true. This cheeseburger is the size of a 9 year old’s head. It was also delicious. Everything was delicious.

Simple sandwiches, made with good, fresh ingredients. You choose what you want in your sandwich (salad, onion, tomato, corn, picked, paprika sauce, ketchup, mayo). The bread is very good, and the sandwiches are quite big. I had the grilled chicken and cheese, and I liked it a lot. No fancy stuff, but a good option if you just want to have something quick to eat. You can only order to takeaway, but it is very close to a very nice wiewing point over King's Landing. What else would you want? Actually, colder beer, I would want. It was not very cold, which is a pity by such a hot summer day (29°C at 6 PM).

SO GOOD! You must eat here for a quick, cheap bite! 5 euro for a GIANT chicken sandwich - made to order! As a backpacker on a budget amidst the overpriced touristy Old Town restaurants, this is a gem!

Great sandwich and salad shop. We ordered two cheeseburgers and tuna salad with Diet Coke, the total was €15,50. The food was freshly made and tasted delicious. Service was excellent the gentleman who served us spoke great English. Highly recommend to visit.

I've had two giant cheeseburgers and two cans of coke for just 14 Euros. It's simple, good tasting and filling food that really makes the Hunger go away. The workers are very friendly, kind and super welcoming. The prices are more than just fair, if you consider The large size of the food (take the picture for reference). I don't know why anyone who is craving a burger or a Sandwich would go to the totally overpriced Restaurants in the old town. All in all, the Sandwich Bar Pile is a hidden gem and must be protected at all cost.

Mother of ....burgers!?! No walk of shame here, they also sell beer. If there's a small crowd of locals out front that means they're open. Dubrovnik would be a better experience if every restaurant was replaced with Sandvich Bar? Discuss.

Delicious stuff, low price, near old town. It sounds too good to be true, but is very much true. Cannot recommend enough. Take your sandvich to some nice place at old town for best experience

Best burger in town as we got told. And yes the burger is really good. My son went back 2 times during our stay and didn’t mind to queue for his meal. The price for the burger is absolutely reasonable and you get to choose your sauces and salads. Delicious.

This is by far the best place for a sandwich in entire Dubrovnik. Don't waste money on overpriced, overrated restaurants inside the Old Town. Here you can find high quality food for a very friendly price. I can't even figure out how they make profit from it.

While I was waiting to order, a local informed me that this place is “really good, and really cheap!” I can attest to this. In a very un-croatian fashion, the service was very friendly and quick. The bun was sooo good, reheated wonderfully. A small cevapì held me over for two meals. I will say that the cevapì was a little on the rare side, but a small shortcoming if one at all.

Really amazing gem, the food was delicious (pictured is the smoked pork sandwich) you can choose to get them toasted and then you have a choice of a few toppings and sauces. Very inexpensive and the staff were wonderful, all spoke English and extremely helpful. Will be coming back tomorrow for lunch again. Deserves all of these 5 stars!

Walking back to our apartment and my partner mentioned the smell, but I fancied a sit down meal. I glanced over as walking past and saw hamburger at 35kn which promptly made us a do a u turn. Two bacon cheeseburgers, a coke and a beer for 100kn. As a previous review says they are the size of a 9 year old' head, maybe a 10 year old and very tasty.

Great prices, even better portion size. Pay 10 Euro for two people and find somewhere to eat it with a view like this. Popular with the locals too!

Good value of money, generous portion, friendly staff and of course delicious food. This should be the role model of fast food restaurants. Pity we were too hungry and we didn't take any picture of the food.

I had the cevapcici, which was like undone and not spiced at all. It was really not tasty, the bread was soaked and the vegetable not really fresh. I would not recommend this place. As there are a lot of good comments here it might be just a bad day, but for me unfortunately the worst food I had in Dubrovnik.

I recently visited this sandwich place, and unfortunately, it did not live up to the high 4.8 rating it received in some reviews. My husband and I tried the grilled chicken with cheese and ham and cheese sandwiches. While the ingredients seemed promising, the taste was underwhelming. The grilled chicken lacked flavor and was dry. The cheese did little to salvage the sandwiches. Overall, we were quite disappointed with our experience and expected better given the high ratings we had seen.

Amazing place ! 100% recommend. We took two grilled sandwiches (smoked ham & a piquante salami), a coke and a sparkling water for only 10€ !! Definitely worth it and the sandwich were really good and ingredients were fresh and tasty. Would come back.
