We had a lovely girl's weekend at Varenna in Leura. The cottage is so luxurious and charming with loads of character and every creature comfort you could want. Everything is in immaculate condition and very clean with four poster beds and a spa bath in one of the bathrooms. Our lovely host Lorraine provided us with port, wine and chocolates to enjoy plus there were breakfast provisions. It is in a great location near Leura Village and has off street parking. I would highly recommend this beautiful cottage for your next stay in the Blue Mountains, so much nicer than a bland hotel room.

Spectacular! Had the privilege of staying in Varenna with some girlfriends recently. Exquisitely restored by Lorraine, the house is divine. Filled with charm and character, every time you entered a room, you noticed something new. The beds were very, very comfortable and the electric blankets a bonus in the cold winter weather. We loved the house so much, we decided against eating out for dinner, which was the plan - and spent our nights in the living room in front of the fire - very special. Thank you Lorraine - we will definitely be back!

We just had a lovely girls weekend away at Varenna. The accommodation is only a short stroll into Leura village which was perfect. It is beautifully furnished and styled with lots of attention to detail to match the period of the home. It was very clean and cosy and Lorraine made sure we had a wonderful experience right down to suggestions on where to eat and visit when booking, our lovely breakfast goodies which we could cook in the cute kitchen to creature comforts such as our lovely bathrobes and slippers. Thank you Lorraine for a wonderful Blue Mountains experience.

I stayed at Varenna with some girlfriends recently for a weekend away. Lorraine thinks of every tiny detail to make your stay truly special. Varenna is beautiful home that takes you away from the concerns and cares of daily life into another world. It is beautiful and tastefully decorated; luxuriously comfortable and a home away from from. Lorraine was like a guardian angel taking care of us from afar.

Stays like this don't come along very often. A truely wonderful weekend away. Both Mountain Whispers and Lorraine are fantastic. 100% recommend. The home is simply beautiful and the location is perfect. Lorraine is a pleasure to deal with and made everything easy and us welcomed. Upon arrival you are greeted with the touches that you don't expect but make the stay all the more enjoyable - music, port, breakfast, etc. Could not speak more highly of Lorraine and what she has created. Thank you for make our stay wonderful and for looking after us so well. Defiantly be back.

I recently stayed at the Vareena in Leura and it was spectacular. The accommodation was so spacious and clean. It felt like walking into another era with the house decorated with exceptional detail. Our host Lorraine was not only prompt with all communication she was meticulous with details to ensure our welcome/stay was personal. You cannot find a better location than this property if you want to stay in Leura / Blue Mountains. An experience I will never forget and will definitely be booking again.

You'll want for nothing! Stay number 7 was in the beautiful Varenna, it's starting to feel like coming home. Walking back into the welcoming warmth of this stunning home, the loungeroom with soft music, gas log fire and a port. Lorraine's decorating is stunning, from the main bedroom's 4 post bed and period decor to the original wood burning oven in the kitchen. A real step back in time. There is no better way to spend your time than soaking in the large corner spa then relaxing in front of the fire. Though conveniently 5 minutes away is both the train station and the main street of Leura with many shops and restaurants. We had a fabulous girls weekend away at Varenna house. Lovely clean, well appointed property. Lorraine’s attention to detail is excellent. The house was beautifully warm. The breakfast provisions were great. The property is in a perfect location, we parked the car on Friday and didn’t use it again until it was time to go home on Sunday. Definitely recommend this property. 😊

My husband & I were fortunate enough to enjoy a luxurious 2 night stay at Varenna, one of the immaculate properties included in the Mountain Whispers collection. The exquisitely renovated property absolutely oozes vintage charm! Lorraine provided generous breakfast ingredients, which was very much appreciated! Honestly, the attention to detail is second to none. We can’t wait to go back to the mountains and stay at another of the Mountain Whispers Collection!
