Great sporting facility. The ground is used through summer by two athletics clubs. Girraween Little Athletics Club uses the ground predominantly on Monday and Wednesday nights for coaching from 6pm to 8.30pm and on Friday nights from 6 pm until around 10ish The club also uses the ground for carnivals throughout the year. The Girraween Athletics Club (Seniors) competes on Saturday afternoons from 2pm until 5pm. They also attend coaching on Monday and Wednesday nights. Throughout winter, the All Saints Toongabbie Tigers JRLFC uses the ground on weekends for competition and various nights for training. Year-round local schools use the ground for sporting carnivals and other reasons. The facility needs installation of slit drainage to stop it from flooding after heavy rains. In 2022, it was closed for months. This was supposed to be installed a decade ago after the redevelopment. Sand grooving was scheduled for January, but it has been deferred.

Nice park in Girraween. Mostly used by the schools nearby. Lots of area to do multiple activities, many sports can be done. It is a dog-friendly park with many entries and exits for easier access. Also includes a small playground for little ones. Ample parking space available nearby.

Good one, recently discovered this during our walkathon and it was quiet on a weekday morning. 1. Huge field but usually buzzing with coaches and school sports. Not sure when it is open to public. 2. Nearby Kids paly area -Slides only no Swings. 3 different slides and good for 2-3 year olds learning to climb.Closed footstairs to climb, open stairs and many more ways to climb. 3. Ample Car parking. Love this and would like to visit again.

Great little park by the reserve, a lot better then the newer ones, perfect for all ages and safe for the little ones, although it really could do with an update of the ground and possibly a paint job, it’s so old and unmaintained that there are cobwebs everywhere, as soon as we spotted a big red back spider we were out of there.

Son plays footy for Toongabbie Tigers, the club is great always a good time. My daughter also does little athletic, they always have food on and well organized. When it rains it takes a long time for the ground to dry out.
