Whoever the Indian accent guy I spoke with today, absolute of a joke. No Help! I have called before about pawning and have been told how much I can borrow for a certain item with a rough estimate. I asked this guy and he just goes on about “no we can’t give quotes over the phone” like a broken record. I clearly stated it’s just an estimate for that particular item and usually I have gotten it from previous retailers I’ve dealt with. Says “I’m the only one working today and I can’t tell you anything”. Clearly I am only asking to give me what they would lend for a PS5 as I called Merrylands Cash Converters and they were able to tell me! Seriously though, Indian guy must be new I have never dealt with him and his poor service.

Made a purchase from this store online, and there appeared to be an issue with the item I purchased. Instead of just sending it, they contacted me immediately with photos to let me know that they were concerned about a potential quality issue with the product. Upon requesting a refund they made no hesitation to do so. I have had to send a few items back to some Cash Converter stores, due to a lack of due diligence, but this one is "on the ball" saving me disappointment and a long email or phone call, or even just cutting my losses and not worrying about it. My advice to anyone who ever has an issue is to just talk to them: don't be rude, but be kind, genuine, and honest--they will help.

Do not go there looking to sell unless you just want quick cash. If what your selling is personal or expensive in your eyes sell it privately (Facebook marketplace).👍🏽

Brought in a DVD player for a loan when I picked it up the box was torn apart. I brought t in new was very upset I did not check inside the box as it was a really hot day. The charger is missing when I went home. Please do not use their services. Now I have a DVD player that doesn’t not work I have to pay extra just to get the charger. When you put in loans they seem Ron be taking things out and reselling. In my case only reason why this has happened is they sold a DVD player in the shop was missing a charger so stole my one. Plus there’s is no excuses to not get an item back in it’s original condition. Please do not trust these people.

I ordered an item online for the first time . I called Christine at Fairfield NSW Cash Converters and she was so helpful , understanding and very kind to me to reassure me of the size I wanted and to describe the item to me, as I lived in Victoria and couldn’t come in the store personally. Christine had sent the item to me by 4.30pm express post the same day and to my amazement it arrived the next day at 1pm. It is much more beautiful than the photos showed and it was exactly what I was looking for. Christine needs to be praised for her hard work and wonderful customer service skills.
