Paul & Jenny are exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to make your stay feel as comfortable as if you were staying in your own home. The homemade breakfast and afternoon tea was a lovely touch to start and end the day with, the room itself was a lovely cosy little cottage with everything that one would need to enjoy their stay. The spa bath is an added bonus and a great way to unwind after seeing the great sights Katoomba has to offer. Will be coming back soon!

We had a lovely midweek, winter stay at Shelton-Lea. The hosts were warm, friendly and thoughtful. They turned the heating on for us before arrival and once again on another day when we were out. We came back to warm muffins another day. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished with traditional furniture. The spa was lovely and the kitchenette was well set-up. The continental breakfast provisions for each day was a lovely touch. The location is great, just a short walk down to Echo Point & the famous view of the 3 Sisters and Jamieson Valley. There are restaurants nearby. We would stay again and recommend this lovely place if you enjoy a more traditional B&B with limited self-catering options.

We stayed in the small studio cottage which was very well appointed with a double and single beds, kitchen, bathroom. Even had on-site parking for 3 cars. The hosts are lovely friendly people, even bringing us home baked treats. Came with tea & coffee, milk, juice, bread, cookies, yoghurt, cereals, chocolates, and even some Port to drink. There is a microwave, but no cooktop. Towels, shampoo, hair-dryer, deodorant, lotion, sanitary pads, iron/ironing board, electric blankets, t.v, DVD, discs, gas heating, etc, etc. Everything you need. Very quiet at night, about a 10 minute walk to the main shopping strip, plus a bus stop not far away. Only thing to complain about was the weather...it rained the whole 2 days we were there, and the fog was so thick ! Would definately stay here again.

We spent the weekend at Shelton-Lea Bed & Breakfast. I have to say, from now on, when we are planning to visit the Blue Mountains, I don’t have to search for accommodation options anymore, because I will certainly stay again at this place. Very cosy and care in every detail.

Lovely, and big. With cosy fireplace nook, central heating, fans, kitchen, spa, fluffy dressing gowns, chocolates and port. Great for an overnight or a few days.

Great spot, close to the main sights. The accommodation was clean, pleasent, spacious and full of little treats such as Port. Would highly recommend for a get away.

This place is so cute and cozy! Loved the little details, like the port that was on top of the fireplace and the brownies that appeared on the table the following day. 😋 Closeby to lots of different sights and the local Coles. Will definitely be staying again.

I would describe this bed and breakfast as very homely and cosy. We stayed for two nights. The whole place was very clean and included a continental breakfast. We really loved the gas fireplace! The house was very warm, cosy and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice, clean, with high quality classic finishes. Check in and out was very simple. Parking was available at the back.

Stayed here for the long weekend and loved every moment of it. Great location, close to town for shopping and close to the Three Sisters and other walking tracks around. Such a cute and cosy little cottage with lots of little touches that makes you feel right at home. The spa bath is amazing, just what we needed after a day out walking and taking in the sights. Home made breakfast and afternoon tea was delicious! Paul and Jenny are wonderful hosts and we will definitely be coming back again!

This B&B is everything and more, if you're planning a trip to the mountains stay here, you will not be disappointed. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming! This was our 2nd time staying with them and we are already thinking about when we can get there again. The breakfast is cooked superb and sets you up for the day ahead also if you're staying for longer than a night you may find yourself coming back to fresh baked goods waiting for you. This place is absolute gem!

The most cute and cottage like B&B, very quiet & private, we found it very cozy with an excellent service, Jenny & Paul are lovely hosts. We loved the attention to little details such as the port and chocolates, had it in the lovely verandah. Relaxed in the spa after a days bush walk. Breakfast is included and arrived on time. Perfect romantic getaway.

Enjoyed staying there, spa is good, Jenny is amazing (sorry Paul I only mentioned your wife) . Jenny bake some little sweets and share with guests every afternoon. When I left she gave me a ride me back to the station. I actually wanted to stay longer but the BNB is just too popular- no vacancies lol had to move to another accommodation for the rest of my trip...

Absolutely darling little cottage. My partner and I really enjoyed. Plenty of really thoughtful touches that the lovely hosts surprised us with. Highly highly recommend and will definitely be returning should we find ourselves visiting Katoomba again.
