Went to get some wings during work. Told me there’s a 1$ per wing special happening but I can’t get it since I want a takeaway, I said yeah that’s fine. 15 dollars for 10 wings, I asked for nacho cheese flavour which is on the menu, told me they don’t do it anymore so I purchased cheese which they still sell separately for 2 dollars. Then he tells me that I have to pay an additional 2 dollars for a takeaway box. So if someone comes to get takeaway food only you make them pay for the box ? Are you serious. Even a cheap Asian takeaway place doesn’t charge you for the box when you get a takeaway. All in all they charged me 19.95 for 10 wings, with a side of cheese. Now let’s even get past all that. The wings were half chopped off, I took pictures. I also found chicken feathers, actual feathers on my wings, I pulled it out to make sure I wasn’t imagining things, also took a picture of that. I’m a regular at el camino the rocks but this branch is pathetic with a capital P. Also the wings were severely over cooked. Atleast get proper chefs if you’re going to charge people ridiculous amounts of money. Never ever returning again. Also I’m sure the health inspector would love to hear about deep fried feathered chicken.

Our last minute decision for Taco Tuesday turned into a lovely evening of delicious food and excellent service; particularly from Sarah. She was super helpful (esp with the online ordering process!), polite and professional. Thanks for helping make our dining experience a relaxing and enjoyable one.

Based on the food, this is undoubtedly the best mexican on Manly - maybe in the whole of Sydney? The environment is great and you can have a table outside overlooking the Manly wharf. The service is also good and the kitchen serves you very fast.

Bad. There is no taste in the food. It's overpriced for the tiny portion they offer. Stay away from this not Mexican restaurants. Oh only go there for margaritas 2 stars for that. And the view

we had an absolute fantastic waiter named Sarah. honestly she was a 10/10. today was my 18th birthday and she made everything ten times better. she always made sure that we had drinks and food on the table. went above and beyond to ensure that i had the best birthday. i would honestly like to thank her personally for doing this for me:))) <3

This place has such a great atmosphere. It has such a fun feel, and I love the decor. The food on offer is great, there's a wide selection of drinks, especially margaritas!! :) They also have really great specials on during the week. And the staff are fantastic! Super friendly and helpful :)

Was so disappointed about this place! The food was not great. Not much flavour. The kids chicken nachos were probably the best thing on the menu. The balcony part is nice and view is okay. Inside is okay but it was very dead. Free nachos is a plus but they don’t taste like anything. Service was okay. Last didn’t speak much English and kept disappearing but she was helpful and friendly. Toilets are to the left of the register which you have to go behind to get to. Clean restaurant and toilets. Not pram or wheelchair accessible due to stairs. Child friendly. Not over stimulating/ overwhelming. Nice enough place.

First timer at El Camino Cantina Manly. The food was good but the service could have been better. They had the $2 tacos when we came and these were available with any drinks purchased (up to 5). There was a selection that was $2 and others which were $4. Overall it was ok, the lady in charge may have been having a bad day (didn't crack a smile at all while we were there & did not seem approachable) - I've heard other stores like the one at The Rocks is great so might try a different venue next time to compare food & service. The decor and vibe were nice though and there was plenty of room for indoor and outdoor seating. All up we spent about $80 with 2 adults and 2 kids which was cheaper than expected but we didn't order a whole lot as we weren't super hungry. This consisted of 5 tacos, 1 nachos, a kids meal and 2 drinks plus a $2 churro to try as I was curious.

Only went for happy hour but nice deals, drinks, water views, and chips and salsa bar. Staff was also super friendly and gave us other great recommendations in Sydney.

Good food, and great view. Feel good vibes and felt very lively. Only improvement would be the me&u app that needs to be revisited as it prompts every few seconds that do u still ordering and if it is closed accidentally then have to start all over again, bit uncomfortable specially when in large group. But apart from that enjoyed the food would definitely visit again.

Girls night fun, and we had a great night. Food and drinks were as expected for the price and type of place it is, but our waitress Sophie made the night super fun. Great sense of humour, thanks heaps!

Pretty disappointed! Booked a table for a 2pm late lunch and drinks. The ordering process is annoying and felt completely impersonal. Would much prefer a menu and to have someone take an order - took 35mins from when we ordered to when our drinks arrived. We were literally one of 4 tables that were occupied. The menu is extremely limited to anyone with diet limitations which is unusual for a Mexican restaurant. The service was rude. Not everything we ordered was brought out to the table and had to be followed up.. food tasted good and the views are great but when you’re paying the prices you’re paying you expect good customer service at very least

My evening was enjoyable so much more due to our fabulous waitress, Sarah. She was helpful, responsive to my dietary requirements, and followed up when a drink order went missing. Her great sense of humour had us in stitches and we enjoyed her company so much. Thank you Sarah!

What a disappointment, quality of the El Camino standard has dropped to the point they don't care what they serve, the servings are now tasteless and value is out the door. We brought some overseas guests who we had to take elsewhere to make up for a poor decision on my behalf remembering how good it used to be, and to add insult they charge a $9.75 surcharge which they could not explain why it was there apart from that's how it is??? Avoid this,pity it's in a great location!

Below average food and beverage. Did not help that the manager was visibly and audibly annoyed with me… for initially opting not to have an alternative drink when they ran out of a key ingredient for the drink I wanted. Don’t hold your customers responsible for your own shortfalls. Definitely won’t be back. There are plenty of other better options in Manly.

Hey, how's it going? Had a fantastic experience today at El Camino. We had the bottomless brunch. Tom, our waiter was the best and serviced all our needs. 5 stars to Tom, he deserves the world.

My Sunday night went from okay to incredible, after the incredible service of Thomas Howard. I will return to this location weekly for the incredible food, drinks, and view, and also for the implausibly good service of the bartender John cuttle, like a cuttle fish he’s got a hard exterior but once you get under he’s a soft and tender man with a story to tell and a girlfriend to mention incessantly.

Amazing views and lively decor, however food was average at best. We went at a reasonable time with almost no crowds and yet our order was missed. The staff weren’t super attentive and looked as if they didn’t want to be there at all. Waited for 10 mins to even be noticed at the door.

All the staff are so efficient and friendly especially Aaron! Thankyou for making our evening very enjoyable! Drinks were amazing and loaded nachos were perfect for the 5 of us!

TERRIBLE to charge a 10% surcharge on Mother’s Day How about treat mums by not charging a surcharge instead of a kick in the teeth. Also drinks are over priced except the margarita paddles $45 x 4 And cheap cheese sauce not real cheese

Great spot to have a Sunday arvo drink overlooking Manly Harbour above all the crowds w a bit of cheeky fun and lively Tex-Mex atmosphere w those big colourful sombreros! Margarita Towers at $75 were best value pre-mix and we had the mango but tasted like sour apple?? Anyway was still good but when I sampled the mango that was awesome. Wish I knew about the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. Was a lot of fun with friends and couldn’t beat the location with shade and those fabulous Manly Harbour views!

$10 margaritas with free chips and salsa? Yes please! The happy hour deal and $2 taco Tuesday is a great way to spend date night without breaking the budget! Love the atmosphere and vibe of the place!!

Very young crowd. Severe lack of service and hospitality. Very limited menu for a mexican restaurant. They were using wireless ordering on your phone which wouldn't connect half the time it took us 15min just to order drinks. The food when it finally came was quite good it was just a shame that the staff were so unhelpful.

Had our food delivered tonight. Paid $68 for fajitas for 2 people and chicken wings. The portion size of the fajitas was tiny. I ended up having to order more food from somewhere else after it came because it was not enough for 2 people. Chips and guoc was forgotten from our order. Presentation was really bad. Everything tasted like it should have cost $20. Not $70. Very disappointing.

Great Location on Manly Wharf so easily accessible by ferry but also ample street parking if wanting to drive. Wheelchair accessible via lift. Food generous tasty and fresh. Alcohol packs a punch and a great variety. Happy hour and weekly specials to have you come back wanting more. Only negative is staff need to match energy of the venue, despite being quiet when we went staff were not engaging.

We went on a Sunday and the staff and food is really good. Fun cool and funky atmosphere with great music, great drinks and good view's of Sydney Harbour. Only down fall is on a Sunday you get charged a 10% surcharge.

First of all I have to say that the place is beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere, friendly staffs and a perfect location. I came from Maroubra just to celebrate a birthday’s friend and the manager Rodrigo was absolutely kindly and friendly! I totally recommend it for everyone!

So good to be back at el Camino, missed the great margaritas, tacos, wings. Missed trying every margarita of the month, can't wait to see what's next. Awesome hospitality, thank you to victor one of the managers.

Things that went wrong: - The menu was cut in half and not addressed online or through booking prior (main reason we came here was for the extensive vegan menu) - When we negotiated for vegan food, it came out with cheese and sour cream - We were asked to leave the venue an hour earlier than our reservation time, of which we had to negotiate with the head staff just to keep - $18 nachos were lost, of which was explained to us that it came out to us already. Because of the pay as you order system we were not reimbursed our lost money on the food Things that went right: - our service staff (not the managers) were very helpful throughout the experience
