Great to see the smaller cinemas still around. Reasonably priced tickets and a fair few movies to pick from. Atmosphere is great with plenty of character/paintings around the whole venue. Surprisingly they fit 6 cinema screens in. There are a few restaurants and cafes downstairs for lunch or dinner depending when you visit.

Grace from Vakuta Jungle is amazing. Galleria is a real market shopping experience. I haven't seen anything like it in Sydney. Catch the Ferry up from Palm Beach

6 cinemas. Big effort put in here. Paintings on the walls of the cinemas. Even the bathrooms are nice (for bathrooms that is). Many restaurants nearby. The old dinner and a movie goes well here. It is near the beach so a walk along the water goes well too. Jesus loves you.

Such a great theatre. Tonight my son lost his wallet and called them and the young man working checked the theatre he was in immediately, even though they were closing, found the wallet and called us and waited out front even though they had closed, and waited for us to come back to give to us. So lovely and helpful. We always have great service but this was so nice of him to go out of his way to help.

Possibly the worst quality cinema viewing experience I’ve ever experienced in my life, poor sound quality, poor picture quality and lights left on in front of the screen during the movie.

The air-conditioning in cinema 5 was ok. Not like my recent experiences where the AC in 1 and 6 was freezing. Otherwise fine.

Nicely keep old cinemas. Plenty of room for legs. It often has nice little movies themed festivals. Parking is easy.

I’ve visited this wonderful cinema many times over the last 6 years and really looked forward to seeing Killers of the Flower moon I knew it was over 3 hours long and was so engrossed in the story that I was reluctant to leave However it was a battle of the elements. If I had realised my partner was as more uncomfortable than myself we would have left after 30mins We endured over 3 hours of freezing temperature and my partner was shaking so much when we exited Cinema 6 I genuinely thought he may collapse I have never experienced such extreme cold in an enclosed space Realistically we should have left and asked for tickets for another day or a refund but neither of us wanted to stumble down the stairs and risk disturbing the other 10 viewers I hate to give this review as I really love this place but the proprietors need to be aware of the situation

Staff are always exceptionally friendly. The ticket prices are reasonably priced in comparison to the big cinemas. Absolutely love the artworks and boutique vibe here that makes it so unique.

It's such a shame to see how run down the original cinemas have become. I went here today and was placed in cinema 2. The chairs were torn and uncomfortable, there was hardly any lighting and no air conditioning so it got quite warm in the movie. The screen had white dots across it the entire film and the side curtains didn't move back at all when the movie started. I also used the toilet facilities. The bathrooms beside cinema 2 smelt of urine and the toilets in the main ladies bathroom beside cinema 1 didn't have a working lock on the door! There was also no hand towels to use and it didn't smell clean at all. On the bright side the staff member that served us was really lovely and the tickets and combo was extremely cheap compared to hoyts or event. There is also still beautiful artwork and elements throughout the cinemas just as I remembered as a child. Wasn't the most comfortable experience but I guess you get what you pay for.

I love Cinema Paradisio. It is one of my favourite places on the central coast. I do think it’s haunted in the actual cinemas but that just makes me love it so much more! I highly recommend coming to see a movie here or dining in one of the restaurants or having a look around the many incredible shops!!!

This place is very special. The artwork on the walls is worth going in to look at. The chairs are so comfortable to sit and watch a movie in. Very affordable prices. Staff are lovely

They should rename this place The Morgue. Given the average age of the attendees is 75, and how unbearably cold the cinema rooms are, it’s a miracle to me every time that thr elderly do not need to be wheeled out frozen in a body bag. I am a big guy myself with plenty of body fat, and I rarely feel cold in Australia even in the winter, and even with my north face puffer jacket on and fleece tracksuit pants on (yes I have to wear these to this cinema even in the summer), I am frozen while watching films here. Every single time I have taken my Nan here we have to rug her up as if she is going snowboarding at the top of the alps and she sits through the films with a dripping nose and almost gets pneumonia for the week following any movie we see. It’s really a disgrace, the children running the cinema really need an adult managing them who has some common sense… when it is 20 degrees outside the cinema does not need to be 8 degrees inside the screening rooms - you know when you go into the freezer cool room at the bottle Shop to get a case of beer? that’s literally what it feels like to watch a film here. The films also “run late” and behind?. Today the film was 45 mins late, my nan with a walking frame was then ushered into a pitch black cinema with no floor lights on to guide her up the stairs (massive OH&S issue) and then the film started playing before we could get to our seat in the dark. Something that would never happen at a Hoyts. All in all this place needs some serious management crack downs on what is happening here.

I have been watching movies here since I was old enough to buy a single ticket. Yes it's no iMax or event cinemas but it's a local treasure and is amazing to have something so close. Great place to take the family for a more authentic cinema experience.

Such an interesting and fun place Plenty of parking and easy access. With multiple cinema's available, there is always a great range of movies to pick from. Also many food and drink options surrounding theatre.

Very architecturally interesting premises-that's surprisingly big!! The cinema itself was larger than expected & beautiful. Seats were comfy and great price!

Great venue with super comfy seats and amazing decor with beautiful fresco murals. Minus 1 star for the way too salty popcorn! Also check that your movie is not being screened in one of the tiny cinemas which feel like I'm watching a movie in the work boardroom.

I was quite surprised how much l enjoyed this cinema. There is art around the walls and the design of the cinema is quite different but absolutely beautiful. The service was great, the seats very comfortable, great value for money.

Decor and atmosphere are reminiscent of the good old cinemas. Try their lifts! It will take you way back in time.

My friend, who moved recently from Sydney to Umina and I have recently attended the Paradiso Cinema twice and the young staff have been wonderful. My friend uses an walker due to problems with her feet. We were escorted to a lift both before and after the movies by the staff to access the 1st floor otherwise impossible. This has been a very warming experience due to helpful and friendly attitude of these young folk. They are an asset. We had Gold service. Please pass on our best wishes, we will be back very soon.

Such a delight to have a local movie theatre, quirky old fashioned, intimate and cosy, with a great selection of latest movies and occasional classics as well. 🎬 ❤️
