came here to get some fishing gear since my old mans life insurance check came in, found nothing worth the overpriced prices they set for the lack-luster gear. the staff team consists of moody teenagers that think they know better than you no matter what and roll their eyes whenever you need assistance. you're better off going to the bcf near tuggerah, they know what they're doing. 1 star.

Wanted to buy an awning for the roof of my van. Asked a staff member if it was easy to put up and down. His reply was, ‘I don’t know’. So I told him I wanted to buy one but needed to know how easy or hard to put up and down. He went to ask someone else and came back to tell me. No it’s not easy! Thanks dude you just lost a sale because you couldn’t be bothered to show a customer a product!! Well done I’ll just go elsewhere! And I’ll get my esky and all the rest elsewhere too!!

We were camping 15 mins away from BCF Lake Haven and needed DC to AC converter as we couldn’t find power point at the camp ground for air mattresses. BCF was closing in next 10 mins so called them to see if they can wait extra 5 mins. The person I talked to was very helpful. Stayed extra 10 mins to just help us to get the converter. Customer service is super. Thank you.

Like the ads say, almost everything you need for your campsite or fishing trip, and friendly knowledgeable staff.

I previously purchased a baitcaster rod which had a fault and the service member Adam went above and beyond to swap the line from the faulty rod to the new one. Excellent service from this man, he is definetly an asset to the company.

This is an amazing BCF store. The staff really look out for you when you come in and they're very knowledgeable when it comes to the local area with fishing. They have the right tools on site to get you set up well, simple things like beening able to put line on new reels at the right tension, as well as cutting ropes with a heat knife instead of sawing it off and leaving you with loose ends. Last time I was in, I was window shopping at the GPS/fish finders and one of the staff members came up and was able to explain really clearly how the depth sounders worked and total install costs. He knew I wasn't going to buy one that day but he was willing to help me out with the knowledge so that I can make a good buying decision later. It's the little touches and the care of the staff that makes the difference.

The staff at LakeHaven went up and beyond today. Brought a kayak that when I got home I found a fault. Rang the store and they couldn't be more helpfull. I returned the Kayak for a swap over and the staff could do enough to help. Thanks guys for the amazing service I couldn't fault it.

Not many places get 5 stars,,If you want anything to do with camping,, fishing or kayaking this is the place for you,, staff very friendly,, plenty of parking out front. Great for rainy days to go and dream of the fun you can have after you bought some new gear,, or just refilling your stocks,, see you there

So disappointed, went there to buy a surf fishing rod that the bcf website listed as in stock; I had a paritcular one in mind, a rather expesive one ($127) and I wanted to check it out before I bought it. I couldn't find it on display, so I asked the sales person help. He checked the display ones and confirmed it wasn't there. I suggested to check whether they had them at the back or something and how come are they listed in stock ready to bo collected in 2hours? He said it must have been a computer issue and they wouldn't have them at the back and for the click and collect they would get it sent from another store. Seioursly?!!! Without even checking at the back??? And delivered from another store in 2 hours??? So disappointed, I simply walked away from there, though needed to buy a reel for the would be fishing rod :( Happened on 05/02/22 if anyone from BCF is going to look into this...

BCF is a fantastic place to buy fishing rods, they have a wide variety and aren't ridiculously expensive for quality fishing rods.

Customer service non existent wanted to get 2x 9kg gasrefills had to take the cylinders into the shop for date checking instead of some one comming out to the tank to check them (I underatand thats the law so thats ok) cylinders all good. Guy finally comes out and being overcast (no not raining only overcast)oh we cant fill them in the rain. Fairdinkum tell me that before I take the cylinders out of the ute. Time l took my business some where else. .

Several time I use this bcf, more than happy when I have trade with those guys. Last night was looking for fridge for my 4wd and drawer but not sure with one suitable back of my car. They were very friendly and helpful to find out

The name is misleading. You can neither boat, camp nor fish in this area. The staff were polite about it but they did kick me out.

Not sure if its the store or I.T. but when your web site state's opening hours 8:30am Sunday and you get to the store at 8:40am and its not open.

Snapped a rod I bought from there (totally my fault the rod was great) and they gave me a replacement for cheap. Friendly and knowledgeable team, Adam helped me catch my first squid and gave me some bait tips for other fish. My go to store when I'm in the area. Cannot recommend enough.
