OMG, a hidden gem in GF. The food is fantastic and very friendly service. You can get it as spicy as you want or to your taste. Flavors of warms spices like cardamom and cumin are refreshing. I'm glad they are here and bringing something new to this community. They are in the former Steers restaurant by Happy Joe's. Don't be shy and give it a try.

Napali restaurant in the old Steers location. We ordered the spicy sukuti (dried water buffalo) and chicken tandoori with naan bread. The chai was the best I've ever tasted. The food was well seasoned and delicious. They also do take out.

Excellent food in a very relaxing and modern environment. The Nepali Thali features several of the menu items including buttery chicken that in my mind was prepared to perfection. The chili fried momo was a treat as well;very similar to a Chinese style dumpling but fried in chili oil, making it flavorful with a very eye-pleasing color. Mango Lassi, a drink popular in India and Afghanistan was also refreshing and the cardamom-forward spiced tea, went well with their take on golab jamun, featuring a sweet yogurt-based sauce. Overall, an excellent restaurant that certainly diviersifies the restaurant scene in Grand Forks.

The flavor is AMAZING!!! First, we were greeted and served hot spiced tea. This made me realize every spiced chai I've ever had is only 20% of the flavor of this amazing tea. The very nice server was completely alone to greet, take orders, cook, and serve meals and beverages because his staff was out! I expected that our food would be extremely slow, sloppy, and not very good. It was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait! The butter chicken was to die for! We wanted to drink the sauce from the bowl, it was so good! We also got the Mango Lassie. YUM! It was topped with some spices and coconut flakes. The owner/host/server/chef felt so bad about the wait since he was alone so he gifted us rice pudding. I grew up on it but this was the best I've ever had! I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

Super surprising to find a Himalayan restaurant in North Dakota, but it did not disappoint! Very authentic and with very in degrees of spicy you can dial in the taste you want.

Excellent food, so flavorful and in the right quantity. Service is warm, friendly but can be much, much speedier. We are so glad a place like this exists in GF. What a gem!

I dream of this food now. It's so good it will make you upset you've never had a chance to try anything from Nepal before. I'm fully convinced the reason the mountains are so tall in their country is so when God gets delivery the wait time is much shorter. Absolutely delicious.

Food is PHENOMENAL. I took my daughter there last night and we both highly enjoyed it. The spiced tea is amazing. Had the egg appetizer and chicken Tikka. Definitely recommend to friends and family. Two appetizers and two main dishes was a little over $50

Ordered take out tonight and got the rice pudding. I’m not sure why they thought it was a good idea to put a liquid into a basic to go container but it spilled over everything in our bag.

I never write reviews but this place was amazing! It's on the same level as House of Punjab and Steers for sure. The flavor profiles are complex and extremely well done. We didn't even make it to our dining table... ate it standing in the kitchen because it was that good! Highly recommend!

Wonderful customer service. The main sign outside is a little dark at night so you have to look for it. Food was fantastic. Great spices, and a welcoming environment. Met the couple who run the business and was given some complimentary spiced chai tea ☕. I recommended this to our family.

Very good!! I recommend going here for lunch to catch their buffet, because you can try a whole bunch of their different dishes. They serve hot chai tea and fresh nan bread with the lunch buffet that were excellent. I also ordered a mango lassie drink and liked it a lot. We will be back for sure.
