Attended wedding, nice and clean enough however chucking out for a 12pm close started at 11pm Drink up, shoving tables and clearing of all areas from that time. Bride literally shoved out of door. Not a nice way to end your evening considering the cost to hire. Thought it all tainted by that, shame

Excellent. A clean, open, bright venue with a large hall able to accommodate large parties and celebrations of your choice. Good service, beers, and entertainments. A large parking area is available to the side of the premises with free parking or if full then parking on the main highway is also available and free.

Great do at the Gild Hall, although there are A LOT of rules when parties are organised that are a bit unneeded/unwarranted. Despite that, friendly staff behind the bar, clean facilities and a well presented venue.

Cheap and cheerful I suppose, the bar wasn't expensive unless you wanted bottled water, which were £2.50 each - more expensive than bottles of Coke (which were £2.15 each IIRC) - prices as of 3rd June '23
