Amazing place! Very thoughtfully and practically arranged and kitted out. Ingrid and Han are wery welcoming and offered lots of practical advice on destination and the best way of reaching it. Hoping to come back again:)

We stayed in Oyster Catcher lodge for a week and had one of our best lodge break ever. The lodge was immaculate with lots of homely touches. Loved sitting on the veranda with the best river view ever. This site is definitely geared up for dogs, dog walks with dog friendly pubs within walking distance. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

Fantastic stay at Curlew lodge with family. Excellent location for visiting great local attractions - Fountains Abbey and the Arboretum at Thorpe Perrow are well worth a trip. The lodges are equipped with everything you will need and are immaculately clean. An excellent place to relax and catch up with family and friends. If you have a dog they will also have a great time! Excellent communication with Ingrid who provided really good instructions to ensure we didn't get lost and made us feel most welcome throughout our stay. Also really appreciate that she posted back a pram cover that we accidentally left behind. Am sure that we will be back. The Shepard huts on the site also look fantastic, especially the outdoor baths!! Would definitely recommend Riverdale Lodges.

Just returned from a short break, and it was amazing. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and not worry about your dogs, then Riverdale Lodges is just for you. This is our second visit and I'm sure we will be back again soon. On arrival there was fresh flowers, a welcome hamper and treats for the dogs. The lodge was perfect, with everything that you need for a great stay. Thank you Ingrid and Hans

We have just returned from a wee holiday here and it was absolute bliss. The location is beautiful and the lodges were right on the river edge. The place was spotless and everything you would ever need was there. The lodge had a decking area around it, so we were able to have our patio doors open and not worry about the dog disappearing. We were also able to take our dog on walks along the river off lead. As long as they have good recall you should be fine. And at the end of the walk there was a wee building that had a dog shower. They have literally thought of everything. I know it’s a dog friendly venue but I would come here even if I didn’t have a dog!!

What a beautiful place. Gorgeous little cabins situated by the steady flow of the river Ure. Perfectly equipped, stunning secluded location, friendly & welcoming hosts. Highly recommend it for a quiet get away. A swim in the river is a must

We've just enjoyed a Jubilee weekend stay here. It's in a very quiet (Well away from road traffic) and relaxed location and our lodge was clean, well furnished & comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery and glassware. The welcome pack was generous - better than any other venue we've been to. Ingrid & Han made us very welcome and they were keen to ensure that we were happy with everything, without being intrusive. It's a dog friendly site with plenty of space for them to run free. They've even got doggy showers! There's a 15-or 45- minute walk (dependent upon the route taken) to the village, where there are two good pubs serving food and a store/Post Office. Ripon is a ten-minute drive away, and there's a good selection of shops and pubs. Lightwater Valley is even closer.

Had another fabulous stay at Riverdale. Lodges! They are immaculate with everything you would ever need , home from home without bringing any self catering things you would require in any normal self catering lodges. Site is just something special, right on the river with lots of personal space. We love the fact when sitting on patio in morning sunrise or evening sundown feels like middle of nowhere ! Cannot hear any traffic yet 2 mins drive were in the middle of so many fabulous places to visit. The holiday is made so special due to Ingrid and Hans attention to detail, ensuring lodges are perfect for guest arrivals, and on park to welcome all arrivals to ensure everyone settles in and have best time, willing to share with you their extensive knowledge of the areas around.Cant thank them both enough for all help and support given to us with a poorly dog! They are true dog lovers, nothing is a problem to them. They will always be on hand whenever needed regardless how big or small the question is! They are there to ensure you have what you expected,to enjoy your holiday, and to ensure everyone feels safe and welcome xx
