I came in with my 12 year old today for an impromptu brunch (teacher strikes). I worked out with him I’d been coming here for around 20 years as I used to work opposite at the newspaper, and it’s not hard to see why it’s still open and still so popular. We had the eggs royale and a bacon butty, milkshake and oat milk latte. It’s amazing how many bad Benedict’s I’ve had over the years but this was up there with one of the best! Perfectly cooked eggs, lovely thick hollandaise and beautifully presented with a nice portion of smoked salmon. Thick doorstop bread for the butty and he walloped his milkshake too. The owner is still as lovely and welcoming as I remember. Everything amazing and will be definitely coming back again much sooner!

This is now our go to restaurant whilst in Southport. Lovely friendly staff, the foods delicious & filling cooked to order & hot. Special dietary requirements & requests are well catered for. We will certainly be back next time in Southport. Thank you all. The Halifax West Yorkshire girls. 💜

We called for brunch today, and received the best of welcomes. Food was cooked to order. The eggs were amazing. As a pescatarian I didn’t want bacon in my eggs Benedict but was offered alternatives. I chose spinach. It was no problem. Pets are welcome, which will be a big plus for us in future. Staff were lovely. I can honestly say that this was one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve eaten, and I’m well-travelled. Thank you all for your hospitality. Emma and Sue

This is our favourite Italian and they offer the best food we have ever had, the wife and I go as often as we can, whenever we decide to go out for a bite we go here every time.

Very good food, we come here everything we are in southport, without a doubt it is our favourite place to eat.
