My knee was very badly deformed with a lot of erosion of the joint, which had been going on for nearly 50 years. I was hoping for a successful partial correction which would give me back some ability to walk without having to stare at the ground the whole time for any unevenness. I was incredulous, on waking up, that the new knee is completely straight. This is thrilling. I never thought this possible. After the first week, I have been amazed at how manageable the pain has been. I have hardly used any of the heavy-duty pain-killers, which again is hard to believe because the operation was quite a lot more complex than the average. I can't recommend Mr Malik highly enough.

mr malik was extremely compassionate with my situation, and took into consideration my sister’s wedding which took place with my injury. he allowed me to have the surgery after this, so i could still enjoy this special day. he examined me thoroughly to make sure we could have the best possible outcome. i am so happy with my treatment and my recovery process. thank you so much for everything!

I have suffered on and off for a number of years with a recurring football knee injury. This culminated last October 22 with my knee completely locking. Unfortunately unable to access surgery through the NHS I finally decided to approach the Saxon Clinic. I met several times with Mr Atif Malik an orthopaedic surgeon who gave me advice and reassurance regarding arthroscopy surgery for my condition. The surgery was carried out within a very short time as a day case. I cannot recommend and thank Mr Malik and the Saxon Clinic Staff more highly, everything about the experience was 5 star. Has supported me pre and post op in a positive way. The resulting left hip replacement has been very successful giving me a new lease of life without the constant pain I have endured for years. It is my intention to have Mr Malik replace my right hip next as I have full confidence in him.
