Beautiful
park
situated
facing
the
River
Mersey.
Good
play
area
for
the
little
people
and
a
delightful
Fairy
Glen
that
makes
even
the
adults
amongst
us
smile.
Great
to
walk
through,
picnic
within
and
generally
just
sit
and
appreciate
the
natural
beauty
that
surrounds
us.
Good
cafe
serving
a
selection
of
hot
&
cold
drinks,
ice-cream
and
hot
food.
Lovely
staff
who
are
friendly
and
engaging.
The
coffee
is
good,
as
is
the
hot
chocolate
and
cake.
Memorial
garden
ideal
to
sit
and
relax
within,
shame
about
the
rose
garden
disappearing
although
the
space
really
catches
the
sun
and
is
nice
to
sit
within
and
watch
the
world
go
by.
Joy
time
runs
at
the
bandstand
throughout
the
school
holidays
and
is
a
hit
amongst
the
younger
children,
lots
of
interactive
games
and
activities
for
them
to
join
in
with.
Direct
access
to
the
promonade
and
beach,
an
ideal
starting
point
to
begin
exploring
the
surrounding
areas.
