First time visiting Liverpool and we had to see a match. My grandad played for Everton in the 60’s so it was really special. Great atmosphere. Passionate fans. Up with the Blues!

Fab visit. WSL Derby match. Everton vs Liverpool. Over 20.000 but great atmosphere and so nice to see many families with young children having fun. Tickets only £8.00 with children & seniors half price. A great evening out.

Yes it's an old stadium, but nothing like it left in the land... So close to the pitch you could reach out and tap/slap the players!! It was a dream come true for me to go to the Alex Young 'Golden Vision' suite, to welcome Frank Lampard into the fold and watch The Toffees score 4 (!??) at home. There are other stadia, and other clubs... But you're born a blue... You can chose to support other clubs, but The Toffees choose you... What a ground, if you know your history...

Without doubt the very worst away end in the Premier League. The view of the pitch is obstructed by many iron columns. The old wooden seats are dreadfully uncomfortable, the wooden floor has seen better days, the concourse area is dilapidated, the bars are ancient, and the toilets are like something out of the 1910's with no hot, or even warm, water. If the ball is played high you cannot see it as the roof of away stand is so low, being the lowest tier on that side of the stadium. The quicker Everton create a new stadium the better for all concerned. Truly dreadful, avoid if possible. Season 2021-2022.

Such an amazing atmosphere for both home and away fans, I've also had the pleasure of playing on the pitch and cannot compare this experience to anything else. This ground is extremely special to me!

I am a bit biased as an Evertonian but it's a great stadium. I have also done the stadium tour here which I recommend.

Did the stadium tour and would highly recommend it to anyone, great staff, friendly and informative (in a way that catered for all ages. It makes for a great experience. Stadium is showing its age but is still a big part of history and must be seen before it's gone.

Proper football ground with great atmosphere but restricted views. My meat and potato pie was so overcooked it could've been used in the foundations of Everton's new ground but they did give us 3 points as compensation. No congestion on leaving as most of the home fans thoughtfully left 20 minutes before full time.

Great stadium that’s cozy and a lot of boundary you need to take care about your seat. The fans was amazing. Easy going on is he going out?

First time here and found the home fans to be rough and racist. The security staff were very good and friendly, stadium is old and the seats we had partial view, low ceiling making it really hot, we stood and watched second half and that’s when home fans gave us attitude, one guy barged into me deliberately.

Great stadium tour! Our tour guides were so informative, and I especially enjoyed the history of how the club got its nickname 'The Toffees'!

We did the Legend Stadium tour and it was an incredible experience!! Everyone was incredibly friendly and it was great to learn even more about the club. It was very interesting to see inside the stadium, and even get to go into the pitch. We didn't realise, but you get free food and drinks too! The food was incredible. The Q&A was very interesting, and definitely wasn't too short. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I will always remember it!! Utft

As an away fan, I’m giving this stadium 3 stars. This isn’t to say that I didn’t enjoy my experience. Of course as always this is based entirely on the non-football side of things, so has nothing to do with the performance and result. The staff are friendly, and the food and refreshment options are OK. But the away part of the stand is old and the phone network coverage isn’t good (takes ages to work and doesn’t always) and there is no WiFi. The seats are uncomfortable- it’s a pre-war stand. The view was OK. Thankfully we err allowed to stand. Anyway, I know they’re moving into a new stadium next season. Overall, an average match day experience.

Obviously it always helps going as an Evertonian and I really don't have a bad word to say about the place how could I! Great atmosphere, everyone is friendly and always feel safe! Staff are fantastic. Plenty of places to get a variety of food around the ground. Parking is various prices depending on which carpark you use but alot of different carparking options open up on match day (expect to pay around £10/£15). Traffic is always bad but that's to be expected with the volume of people coming from all over the country. Plenty of merchandise stalls which is always a cheaper option than the official shop. The stands are tired and old now but hold so many memories and goodison has so much character looking forward to the new ground but will be a very sad day to say goodbye.

Iconic football ground. Soon to be demolished to bring the club into the modern day. For now though, one of those nostalgic stadiums that are a dying breed.

Famous old ground, atmosphere great, many restrictive views. Allow time for traffic, don't be tempted to try for free parking, most surrounding streets have restrictions except for month of July, big money spinner for the council (tickets). Use car parks even though not cheap. I use the one by Stanley Park. Signs cleverly displayed for revenue purposes - if its not July expect a ticket.

As a proud Evertonian I really can’t rate the place any lower! But overall, staff are super friendly, food is lovely on the lounges and the tours are spectacular! It’s just a shame that they lost the Brighton match 2 days ago :/

First visit to Goodison resulting in 2 nil defeat v Aston Villa so don't think I'll be welcomed back. Had to see this old traditional stadium. Easy access, no issue with barcoded tickets and staff friendly. Do believe some of the restricted view tickets purchased should have been free. Decent fans up for a sing song.

My family and I did the stadium tour. It was great to see behind the scenes of this amazing old stadium. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Entertaining a group of about 20 people with the clubs remarkable history.

The entertainment was good at halftime shame about the pitch invasion though full of little kids whos parents sent them on! Let's hope the new season is better

The Grand Old Lady! I'll miss her when she's gone. Sure, it's old and the facilities are poor compared to some other stadia, but she's our home. The history will live on (just a few...): 1st purpose-built football stadium 1st four-sided stadium with two tier stands 1st stadium with a three-tier stand 1st club to have a church attached to its stadium 1st club to install dugouts 1st to install undersoil heating

Great stadium. Very reasonable price for refreshments for a football stadium. Staff were very friendly with plenty of stewards on hand to support where needed. As for toilets there are plenty with hand sanitizer placed throughout the stadium. My particular seat was good and I had good views throughout. Will be returning again. #UTFT

125 Years Of Football History Goodison Park has incredible history dating back to just before the 20th century, just imagine how many great games have been played inside this ground with Everton and football legends like Dixie Dean, Alex Young, Alan Ball, Graeme Sharp and many more. This stadium hosted many games during the 1966 World Cup where Pele came up against Eusebio and the North Koreans went 3-0 up against Portugal only for Eusebio to spearhead a great comeback for Portugal. You get to see what it's like in the Dixie Dean suite, the most expensive hospitality area and even sit on the seats reserved for Kenwright and Moshiri. It's amazing to compare the away changing rooms to the home ones, whatever helps give the home team the advantage. Then walk onto the pitch with Z Cars blaring from the speakers. The stadium certainly has seen better days but there is a new stadium coming in the next couple of years so I'd recommend booking a tour of Goodison before it is gone for good.

The greatest ground for the past years for Everton home games as it has hosted games where they actually won the league which was with Howard Kendall last and when we hosted one of the World Cup semi finals when it comes to the final game it will be sad leaving for a new ground but we will have to get on with a new chapter.

Goodison Park is just the most amazing "old lady" stadium.. Superb atmosphere, food, reasonable prices, sadly the score didn't reflect the fun day out.. Until the next time..... Come on you blues..

The call it Woodison for a reason! I'm all but certain those seats were put in in the 1800s. Really uncomfortable. Obscured views, that's an insane notion in 2021! And the stench of bitterness when having to sit with home fans was rotten. I was half tempted to start a collection for them! Only saving grace was that we won 4-1!

Bouncing last night due to excellent crowd participation and a rare victory. Nearly marked down for causing bruising, sore throat and deafness, but was worth it in the end. Oh and some dude strapped himself to the goalpost

This was my first visit to Goodison while staying nearby. It is situated in a tight neighbourhood where all the houses and shops and right beside it.We had a walk around the stadium and took a few photos,It's an old building but still nice to see and I can imagine it's hectic around here on match day

  • 3/5 Alistair D. 11 months ago on Google
Showing its age, wooden seats and a basic feel in the away section, although the toilet facilities were surprisingly good. One major gripe, no mobile home signal in the lower away section.

My first time at goodison to watch the merseyside derby. Very old fashioned classical style stadium and the atmosphere was electric 👌
