A good place to host any parties and just have a great time. Two years ago we made this Christmas evening. All the delicious things were cooked by us on this steel. All the guests were satisfied.

Went here for food with the kids. Fantastic! Food was so reasonable, service unfailing. It was a bit of a party pub tunes going ( was a Saturday mind) but if that's not your bag there are more quiet areas of the large floor space. Phenomenal pub grub, don't know how they do it so cheap! Staff very polite and personable. Defo go back here again.

Nice location with good spacious interiors, the large booth seating is a welcome touch that many pubs don't have. Service was friendly and the place was clean and well decorated. The food is a big let down, pretty much most of menu is clearly frozen/ packaged , the southern fried chicken burger consisted of three dry goujon / nuggets with no taste, no heat , the American cheese wasn't even melted , just a cold slice thrown on and the bbq sauce was on the lower base of the bun in a small qty. My family had similar disappointing meals. If this location was chef driven it would be much busier due to its location and front of house staff. A smaller, home cooked menu would fit the pub much more.

Beautiful place, really big and well set up. Service leaves a lot to be desired and older lady server is extremely rude, blunt and made us feel like we were doing something wrong ordering food or doing anything really whenever she came over. I would happily return but would be scared we would encounter her again unfortunately. Made the visit unpleasant at times. Food was alright, pepper sauce was lovely and mega mixed grill offered a lot on the plate for the price x

Terrible!! Gave our roast dinners to another table who had also ordered roasts, we let them have it since they had took orders for 4 roasts, so they must have enough you’d think. The idiot comes back over and explains there are no more roasts and there’s nothing they could do! Just gave us our money back, after waiting a while for our food this was awful! Had to go elsewhere because if there mistake. No sincere apology or anything. Terrible service and the same person also gave another customer wrong information about their order, which meant they got something they didn’t want and they complained! Gone downhill this place!!

Great place good food great ale best Guinness iv seen in many years. The service and food is good. Can't complain with it being on my door step 🙂

Went to a christening last Sunday, hot and cold buffet was lovely. The staff were friendly but think the actual room could do with a spruce up.

Nice place, friendly service apart from one lady who was clearly unhappy to be there, and very abrasive, other staff were spot on.

Really nice atmosphere, great for family's and the food is excellent. Also has a very nice function room.

Called here as we are in a guest house nearby, it was a Monday so not busy, we had the 2 for £12.99 deal, food came in under 20mins of ordering. Adequate choice and food very tasty, staff helpful. Pub nice and toilet was clean. Will definitely come back again if ever we are in the area.

My partner and I got to the Lingmell at 5.45 for a meal, to be told that the kitchen was closing at 6.00 luckly my partner knew what she wanted but I felt a little rushed however the food was excellent my partner steak was just how she wanted it. I finished mine before her the bar staff cleared my plate while my partner was still eating. That's not right you should wait while both party's have finished . But apart from that it was good. It's a massive pub with plenty of seating will go back again 👍👍👍

HONEST STAFF! I gave £50 cash and I actually said "there's 50 there". Lady serving me (tall,blonde with daddy tattoo on right forearm) informed me I'd given £10 too much. Will definitely be returning here with honesty like that, plus the food was lovely. Thankyou.

sausages had double/over cooked. An airfryer cooks them from frozen in 10 mins. gravy like water no flavour. friendly member of staff doing tableservice.

Worst take out I have ever had. Freezing cold, dumped in boxes. Was meant to be a sharing platter for two, there were 3 ribs, 3 goujons and 2 garlic ciabbatta that were 6cm by 4 cm. Rib sauce all over nachos which were all stuck together like one item. Rib sauce all over onion rings and very little food for 12 quid. Total rubbish, never again. Do yourselves a favour and get a maccies. I'd like my money back to be honest it was a mess and we are still hungry. Could have got two sausage rolls and felt better about it!

Lovely venue! The staff are so lovely, friendly and welcoming and the decor is great too. Plenty of parking available too in the car park. I'd highly recommend!

I ordered a cheesy garlic pizza bread that ended up being a breadroll with cheese on- a cold and anemic pizza, a soup enough for a toddler (soup alone costed £5) and prawn crackers. Do not waste your money here

Only took the dog for a walk, we decided to call in for a beer, me and the Mrs sat outside in the decking area which is brilliant, the staff were great even got us a bowl so we could give the pooch some water well done and thank you.

Food was very nice and great price at 2 mains for £10.99. Will definitely return.the fish and chips look gorgeous on next table.i had the hunters chicken which was very good and a reasonable size.

Excellent pub and food is fantastic, This is the fish n chips as you can see looks nice yet tastes beautiful..Friendly staff and has a function room for parties etc etc. 2 meals £10.99 and then 2 j2os £15. Excellent choice on menu food served Monday to Friday 12pm till 8pm..
