Quite impressed with this garden centre, well laid out and very organised. Great selection of products and plants/trees are healthy. Prices are quite competitive and certain variety of plants and trees are a little more expensive than other places, but you can't deny the quality.

We booked a table at the cafe & ordered the 'High tea' option for 8 people. It was really good value; plenty of tasty food, nicely presented. The staff were friendly & attentive so I would definitely visit again.

A very good selection of plants, garden equipment. The new cafe is very popular even on a Tuesday afternoon. My granddaughter enjoyed picking her first plants to grow,and feeding meal worms to a robin that comes inside the centre.

Dog friendly garden centre with excellent cafe offering hot food and great salads. Coffee was excellent, and service was very courteous and friendly too .

Have been coming here for a number of years now, reason why is because it is an excellent quality garden centre that is reasonably priced and All the staff are extremely helpful. Partner and myself also like to call for coffee / tea on quite a regular basis at the attached New Shoots Cafe, always excellent service from ALL the very nice and pleasant staff, the excellent service and friendliness of the New Shoots staff is by far the very best around 👍. Good garden centre and a great cafe with plenty of choice, and a nice gift/homewares area. Pleasant staff and quick service. The cafe area has been purpose built and is a lovely open space, though the acoustics could be better - it does get very loud when a lot of people are in (maybe the addition of sound dampening boards would help?). There is also a nice outdoor, covered area though - a real bonus! We enjoy coming here and are 'regulars'.

Lovely cafe with a nice little selection and excellent service. The coffee was great too! My only gripe is that I couldn't find a small enough plant pot for the plant that I bought.

New Leaf is a garden centre with an abundance of choice, loads of healthy plants to choose from plus everything you need under one roof. Stopped by for lunch in the cafe too & the food was home made & beautifully cooked & very tasty. I would highly recommend a visit.

Very nice coffee shop, quite Spacious with outside eating area. Lots of lovely plants all look very healthy. Good parking too plenty of spaces. We visit weekly. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Been for lunch a couple of times over the last few months and been pleased with the quality and service of the food - something to suit everyone - my mum heartily recommends the chip butty! You can get a decent cuppa and piece of cake as well. There's a decent selection of plants amd garden decorations to look around as well, so it's a good way to spend a couple of hours.

Easy parking, large selection of plants. Got 4 trays of Busy Lizzie for £10. Great value.

What a scam. My friends bought £30 worth of gift vouchers for my birthday but when I came to use them Greenleaf said one wasn’t activated. It was obvious that the writing was the same on both so self evidently they had issued them both but hadn’t activated one. The manager pompously said they were ‘trying to help me but without a receipt there was nothing they would do’ trying to make out like I was being incredibly unreasonable. It was a great sham to grab every penny. Very poor customer service, staff rude off hand and seemed too anxious to say it wasn’t their fault. Obviously not a good place to work either. Definitely won’t be returning, I sincerely hope they go bankrupt as they are a shameful business.

Lovely Garden Centre and an excellent cafe with very clean toilets. The food is amazing and at a reasonable price. The staff are very friendly. Vicky, the Cafe Manager, should be very proud.

Ordered two cups of coffee and a jug of milk additionally. Ordered the milk after the coffee but it turned up first. Then they got the table number wrong and it took at least 15 minutes to get 2 coffees. Paid a £1 for extra hot milk and were given a small jug, that held little more than an egg cup. So, poor really particularly compared to Ferndale garden centre close by.

Fantastic garden centre and cafe. The staff are very knowledgeable about the plants, shrubs and trees they sell. I got some useful tips and advice from them today. The plants are of good quality and reasonably priced. Coffee and food was lovely too. Will most likely be visiting again in the near future.

Mixed review of the customer service (in restaurant), mostly staff were very friendly, however an improvement in customer service training for one staff member could make for a more comfortable atmosphere in the coffee shop. Do not agree the coffees are 12oz as per menu indication, they are less.

Fantastic garden centre. Very organised. Well stocked. Extremely polite staff and all very helpful. The cafe is fantastic and the service brilliant. It is the best garden centre for miles. I would not choose any other 👍🏻😊

Fantastic for plants and gardening with a great variety of choice. Cafe on the other hand is a massive let down. The staff are really friendly with the food being average. However, on our visit today one of the glasses came out covered in orange pulp from the previous customer. So much so I’m not sure how it was missed. I also noticed another customer returning their cup for another. One of the forks also had dried food on it. Other than that it is our first choice for plants so far and even our children get excited about visiting!

First and foremost this is an excellent garden centre. I've been using it for quite a few years, and seen it developed into the best garden centre in the area. Now it's added a first rate cafe, where you can get a breakfast or lunch it has improved even more. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic array of plants , shrubs and trees. Really well stocked. Lovely cafe on site. Great indoor shopping as well. Best bit apart from huge car park was the way the people working there had such great knowledge and were so easy to talk to. A new favourite.

Good garden centre. Bought a bench for my garden from here. Quality is very good and was half price, bonus. Unlike a lot of garden centres well staffed and the plants are well looked after at affordable prices. The only mistake I made was telling the wife about the place.

A favourite of ours to visit, really good selection of 1st class plants and much much more. We always visit the cafe & are never disappointed. Today we had booked the High Tea which was excellent. We went for the Chef's choice which was delicious, the presentation, quality & quantity of food was amazing. We were grateful for the food box to bring home the savouries we hadn't eaten (saving room for delicious dessert) The staff always greet you with a smile, are attentive, very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. Thankyou all, we thoroughly enjoyed our Bank Holiday treat 😘

This is a nice garden centre. The plants and shrubs are well kept and a reasonable price. The garden shop is well stocked and at the moment includes a small Christmas shop. New Shoots cafe in the garden centre is a bright and airy cafe. There is plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is varied and food well prepared - recommend the blueberry shortbread, melts in the mouth. The coffee is also great.

Wonderful restaurant very clean and the staff are so attentive and look after you. The food is fabulous and there's plenty of it. The garden centre has some beautiful plants Allen great condition and lovely, clean toilets. Highly recommend this place - you won't be disappointed.

Quick service in the cafe, lovely food, pleasant staff. They will slightly change menu to accommodate fussy eaters unlike some garden centre cafes in the area. Also they take cash again unlike garden centres in the area

The cafe is a big disappointment. The cafe itself is large, modern, and clean but is utterly soulless. Considering it's in a garden centre, there are no feature plants or flowers - just a large open warehouse with cheap looking furniture. There were plenty of staff but they were operating in an utterly inefficient manner. We waited 25 mins for two hot drinks and cakes... and then they told us they'd sold the cakes we'd bought and had put aside for us to someone else! Go elsewhere!

I've been here a few times after a recommendation from a friend. Apparently the houseplant section is brilliant but in my experience, it was awful. The first time I went they had nothing aside from some sad cacti which were over priced for what they were. I the went in a second time to see if they had new stock and they did. But what they had was all in bad condition and again, over priced. The final time I went in for some pots but right from the get go I knew it shouldn't have bothered. As soon as I walked in all the staff stared at me and made me feel uncomfortable. When I made it to the houseplant section, the fire alarm went off. I didn't know where to go so I asked a member of staff and she just ignored me. After the awful experience I've had on numerous occasions, i decided to go elsewhere for what I needed. Now never going back there

Great place recommended by neighbour. Great choices and value for money prices. Now preferred place to obtain garden stuff. Does also have a place to eat inside and outside. Definitely going back as preferred choice of garden centres.

First visit and looks good so far. Good selection of plants and all looked in good condition. Cafe looks popular and will try it next time.
