Great toy shop that has many good offers, the range isn't as big as the stores in Manchester as it is smaller, but I found an exclusive funko pop that was supposedly out of stock so well worth the trip! The cashier didn't get annoyed when my four kids payed separately with their Christmas money! The security guard following like a hawk is unnecessary, we have no need to steal nor do we fit that stereotype

I’ve bought a stroller yesterday for my daughter, and it was too small for my daughter I’ve tried returning it back today and they said they can’t take it back because I’ve opened up. Well how was I going to find out if the stroller was good enough for my daughter. And that Sarah don’t know if she’s the manager she’s so rude. And racist! Bad staff! 👎🏼

Very friendly store. We were welcomed as soon as we entered the store and every member of staff was so helpful and would stop what they were doing in order to help. The manager Rob who was also on the shop floor went above and beyond to make our visit a very pleasurable one. Would highly recommend this store to anyone. Smyths should be so proud of everyone who works there for them.

The staff were looking like me as an alien and I thought it as my imagination! Funny to read so many had the same experience from the above! Why-o-why? Why could a staff can't explain the requirements of the customer in a proper tone? Why should they say "I am just someone here, the actual staffs are in counter to explain you"! Who wants to decide on the counter while billing? Never coming again here!

Great access & parking at Edge lane retail park. Traditional toy store what has catalogues what the kids love to pick their gifts ! Shop has a direct phone line for stock checking or customer service ….. Superb staff

I bought a game which turned out to be faulty. Returned to the shop the next day and the manager was very rude. Handed me the game and said go and complain online. Very discriminatory behaviour. I think its my fault buying a game from here as they don’t specialise in games. Won’t return to smyths toys for anything.

I went there today and guess what I waited in line for hours and guess what the gift cards weren’t even working and there weren’t even a Sighn!

Great place to shop for kids young and old. Plenty of free parking outside and a wide variety of toys inside. They don't just sell toys though, having a range of essential items for new parents too ( car seats, prams etc).

We popped to this store on 14th sept around 3pm and the lady who was the baby expert was super helpful! We looked so clueless and she spent ages with us just going over all the prams giving us loads of advice, we feel much more clued up now! We didn’t get her name so I’ve put the time we were there so you can know who she is and let her know she’s doing an amazing job 🙌🏻

Everytime I'm in there I feel like the staff hate me, ik I'm not a kid but I don't see the need to talk to me like ive done something wrong, I don't think I seen one smile and they only say thank you after I do. I get a far better experience buying toys from any supermarket or shop that sells toys I'd expect the one shop selling to mostly children to also treat adults with respect.

Cannot thank the staff in edge lane enough. We were struggling to put together a bike for our sons Christmas present so decided to take it down to the shop today. They put the bike together for us no issue at all it took a lot of stress off our shoulders and now we are ready for Christmas Day. I don’t normally write reviews but wanted to say a huge thank you x

Children's eye light up going in. Floor to roof packed with toys. I said pick one toy. Down first row. Trolley was full. 😦😅.

Went today to get a few things for my eldest boys birthday. Was greeted by who I think was the manager who asked if he could help with anything. He showed me to the football goals I was looking for and helped me pick which would be best suited to my son. He then carried them and another large box to my car and ensured we could fit everything in. Excellent customer service and made shopping with young twins much easier! Thanks!

Great staff , manager replaced my ps5 pad for the faulty one that bought at xmas , iv now brought my bussines to this shop as no way will I ever spend a penny again in the one on eastlancs rd as the manager their refused to exchange it even tho only used it for 4 weeks an had a warranty on it . A BIG THANK YOU to the manager in this store on edge lane.
