Andy the manager is very welcoming. Very relaxed atmosphere, my only issue is parking. Cost a fair bit to park up on the bridges for 3 hours, but if you don't have a car to park, no worries. I'll be making it my regular hole to hide in if I can find reasonable parking

This shop only opens Wednesday to Sunday's but late nights for some of these. The shop has a great selection of high quality miniatures along side you are able to order into shop further miniatures not currently in the shop. The manager is very helpful and will even have a game with a selection of miniatures. Other customers are supportive and helpful too. Alongside miniatures there are terrain pieces paints and everything in between to aid your hobby. All in all this shop and the people involved are nice and friendly well worth a visit bring your pocket money because you'll end up spending it

Best gw in the north east you can always rely on Kyle to be able to find a way to make your army work or to find what you're looking for, with a vast knowledge of the back ground story he can also shed some light on your favourite factions with their awesome moments. Wish I could give more stars

Was in today and spoke to Andy very nice lad and was very good with the social distancing aspect made it completely non awkward which is rare....he didn't pressure anything and was happy to help however he could I was in a little bit of a rush today so couldn't stay for long but will happily be back.

For such a small outlet this store boasts a huge range. Visiting the store is a real pleasure as the manager makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. Games tables are provided as is hobby space. Want to know something about the Warhammer universe or fancy a chat about Middle Earth. Kyle has you covered, I've never met a more enthusiastic guy and he isn't trying to push the latest release down your throat, a symptom of other Warhammer and Games Workshop stores, nothing will get me to leave quicker. Quite to the contrary Kyle helps you make your choice. Whether your looking for some paint or a new kit Sunderland Games Workshop will help you find it. They even have an instore online shop where you can order something that isn't In stock and have it delivered free to the store ready to pick up in a few days time. It's the most friendly Games Workshop I've visited in the region and I'd never consider going elsewhere.

Something I have found about warhammer shops is the staff always seem to push you to make a purchase and are very judgemental and personally I always feel very intimidated.

New manager is very rude, hardly acknowledges you and customer service is very poor compared to previous manager who was great at his job. Poor knowledge on upcoming products and gave me wrong information which led to me missing an exclusive release that sold out by the time I’d heard about it. The cover staff are equally poor in manners and it’s obvious the manager hired his mate, not someone who has any real customer service history. Will be using Durham or metro centre for the foreseeable future. Absolutely disgusted.

Great store, always a very friendly welcome. Staff are always helpful with tips and advice and I've had some great games there. Well worth going along.
