I had a good feeling when I drove up to this place hungry after a long drive. Best fried catfish I've had bar none! Don't forget their sauces if you get it to go.

I came here about 10 years ago with my family and remember it being good, they had live music and a nice atmosphere and good food.. Today I took my fiancé and wish I hadn’t. First of all, $45 for two people is absolutely insane. Secondly, the buffet was gross and burnt. The steak fingers and chicken tenders were a joke and the catfish was burnt to a crisp with very little meat on it. Hush puppies burnt and bland. The ceiling was leaking in multiple places, flies everywhere and the bathroom should be a closed down by how disgusting it was. I am actually sad because I have very fond memories of this place as a child.

It is a good meal at a country diner. This is not a high end full service restaurant, it is a great place to eat with a self serve buffet of salad, catfish, and the fixins. Just a good meal. Well worth the visit!

Haven't been here in many many years was excited to go back finally had the right day off that I could go according to their schedule..drove 15 miles each way..was a pretty dive .. hate to say it but I won't be going back that food was horribly dried out the service was great though I wouldn't recommend the food though

We were there this evening with my wife's cousins and although it has been 15 years since we last visited the only thing that changed was the front addition to the restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the all you can eat buffet and everyone else had the one time buffet. The catfish is excellent along with the fries, hushpuppies, salad. The cobbler topped with ice cream was the best. Top that off with more than reasonable price and Cook's is fantastic. Thanks for the enjoyable experience and I promise we will return a lot sooner.

We were driving between College Station and Lubbock, and happened upon this place as we were looking for somewhere to eat dinner. It is a very unassuming building, you know you're in the country. There aren't many choices on the menu, but the catfish and hushpuppies were amazing, and everyone was so friendly. We are so glad we gave it a try!

Family friendly, great atmosphere!! Buffet style catfish, chicken tenders, steak fingers, french fries & coleslaw. They have a salad bar. You can order steak & baked potatoes too!! They don't take cards and we don't carry cash BUT instead of sending our family away hungry they gave us the address and told us to just enjoy our meal and we can mail them a check!!
