Phenomenal amd beautiful place to stay. We were in late and out early, but everything went very smoothly. Everyone who helped us was wonderful, and breakfast was delicious. Nothing but good things to say.

That place is great. It's just at the end of the restaurant strip on 7th Street. The staff is very nice and the breakfast is pretty good.

Clean small rooms. Staff lovely and professional. Melville area is okay on weekends but be aware of crime. I would stay in Rosebank.

I brought a group of international educators to stay at the 7th Street Guest House and we could not have been happier. I will most definitely return. The food is delicious, the rooms are gracious and well-appointed and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. We used the lovely and convenient conference facility and spent a great deal of time sitting and talking at the lovely outdoor garden patio tables. Wifi was fast and in all rooms and across the grounds. Easy walk up some neighborhood steps to the main shopping street in Melville. This place is a gem!

I’ve stayed at 7th st guesthouse a few times now and wouldn’t plan on staying anywhere else! Rudi and Wessel really care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable. You definitely aren’t just a customer to them. The guesthouse feels extremely safe (very important in Joburg) and also happens to be super cute. The honesty bar and outdoor patio provide a nice place to gather with friends, and the beds are fantastic. I look forward to staying here again the next time I’m in South Africa!
