Coming back to edit with an Aug 2023 update: We went back for a re-do. They are still using Styrofoam to-go containers, BUT! You now have a server again. And man oh man, are we so glad we've gone back. The food was AMAZING. If you love good Chinese food, take the ride out. Updating my star's to 5, they deserve it. We had been visiting since 2016, usually 2xs per month. We loved the food & staff. After covid (2021) this place is not the same. It's time to go back to normal. Bring back having a server. Bring back eating on plates for God's sake! No one wants to sit in a restaurant and eat out of a takeout container. For the love of God its 2023! We will not be returning until you are the China Dragon One we know & love.

Very Good food, decent portions, but definitely more of a take out and bring home type of place. Lets start out with some positives, the food was good, big portions for the price. We had left overs at the end. The staff was friendly and we didn't have to wait long before being served. a few cons was it was not the cleanest place I've been in, floors were kinda sticky, and tables still had dirty plates on them the whole time we were there. All in all, I will be back to get more. I recommend this place to others but to carry out, not dine in.

Lovely place , Great staff I ordered the beef on the stick and chicken fried rice .The rice was perfectly cooked not too watery and not to burnt and great ratio with veggies , rice and meat .the beef on the stick was just ok but not astonishing but no bad comments. Great overall when visiting Illinois def come here!

First time eating here. Had orange chicken lunch special. Came with soup , chicken fried rice and an egg roll. Orange chicken was crispy, right balance of sweet and spicy. Egg roll tasty and crispy. Perfect fried rice. Was greeted with a welcome smile upon walking in. Will return:)

Overall, a solid 4 stars. We found out about this place during the pandemic. It's the best of the 3 closet Chinese takeout near us. We've never been disappointed. I really like their Singapore noodles. The orange chicken isn't bad either. The fried rice is decent too. This place is one of our go-to places when we don't feel like cooking, but still want some leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day.

Awesome spot to get some Chinese or Thai food. Not super greasy, honestly the best spot around Algonquin/ Lake in the hills area for me. My go to is the chicken pad Thai or Black pepper beef. Check out their Taro bubble tea too

I love the food here better than any Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. The lunch and dinner specials are incredible a massive amount of food for very little money one lunch special lasts me 2 days thank you china dragon for making amazing food.

First time ordering. Average at best. Eggrolld were good. Schezwan shrimp was bland. Loved all the mushrooms. But needs to be more flavorful. Cashier was unfriendly.

Overall 4 stars Food 4 stars Staff 4.5 stars Environment 4 stars Price $/$$$$ Inexpensive asian food restaurant with nice sushi selections. Although my friend didn’t like his curry, my sushi tasted nice. Only problem is that the soy sauce I think they used was not for sushi (it was the kind for cooking, which made it taste a little too strong).

Great food. It's basically a carryout, but you can eat in if you want. Served in styrofoam containers with your carryout bag.

So glad my husband and I found this place today ! Since it was our fist time here, the person at the counter gladly explained everything. Food was amazing. Now this will be our spot for Chinese food.

Quality of Food used to be much better. They raised the prices and the quality of food went way down. Used to love coming here with my family
