Dan is a very nice guy. Unfortunately that only gets you so far tattooing his own designs versus what the customer wants. It took several sessions to get to a point where the tattoo looked vaguely like what I wanted. In the end I spent close to $1000 to get a tattoo that wasn’t what I wanted. The white ink left scarring.

We chose Black Ink Tattoo to get my daughter’s nose pierced. We were so pleased with Dan! He made my daughter feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. This is our go to guy from now on. I highly recommend!!! We had a negative experience at another piercing place and Dan had her leaving so happy with her experience this time. One happy Mama!

Visited for the first time today and Dan was very welcoming and easy going. Pricing was great and I was in and out in 30min with a new nose piercing. I told him I wasn't a fan of needles - he talked me through it and it was over and done so quick and painlessly. A+ Thank you!

Had to do two random walk-in. I was struggling to take out my nose push-in and another time for help putting in another piece of jewelry. I was immediately taken care of both times. The employees were very affable and knowledgeable. Prices were quite reasonable as well. If you need a piercing I would definitely recommend this place!

very unhappy with my tattoo. i showed Dan what i wanted, and he basically just did his own thing. even though it wasn’t what i showed him, i still liked the stencil he made and the placement but when it came to the tattoo it just felt rushed. i’d be surprised if it even took 30 minutes and it looks completely free handed. lines aren’t connected and are broken, and there’s some parts where i’m scratched more than i was tattooed

Dan has done my tattoos for a long time now and I won’t go to anyone else. I usually come in with an idea of what I want and he goes above and beyond my expectations! You will not be disappointed with him. He takes his time and makes sure your comfortable. He also makes your tattoo experience amazing. Here is some work he did on me.

Quick and (mostly) painless. I will be returning when these two piercings (bottom lobe and helix) are fully healed to get two more on the other side. And so on. Great shop!

Dan did a great job. My husband and I wanted matching tattoos with custom lettering. He was very patient with us through the design process (mostly us trying to figure out what we wanted and make up our minds). He did a great job on the design and it turned out great! It was my first tattoo and it was placed on my ribcage, so it hurt a lot but Dan was quick and as painless as he could be and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Walked in on a Monday night and walked out with another great looking tattoo. Dan makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease especially for first timers. Walk you thru the process and makes sure you understand all the aftercare directions. There’s a reason my wife and myself don’t go anywhere else.

He Required My Mom To Be Present With My Sister's Birth Certificate, School ID & My Mom's ID. She Payed $60.00 With Jewelry Which I Think Is A Great Price. Place Was Really Clean & He Was Super Super Friendly. He Gave Us All The After Care Information We Needed. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIS WORK!!!

Dan’s the man! I decided to stop in impulsively for a tattoo and I had an amazing experience! I’ve had issues with feeling uncomfortable at other shops, but Dan and his team made me feel so safe and comfortable and I will definitely be back! The Black Ink squad are so friendly and courteous, and the shop has a beautiful collection of historical artifacts!

I wanted to wait a couple months to leave a review just to see how my septum healed since I have had issues in the past with jewelry from other shops but it has healed perfectly and I have absolutely no complaints. Dan was amazing and funny and kept me comfortable and calm throughout the entire piercing (which is a feat in itself because I do have extreme anxiety when it comes to new things!!). He chose the perfect jewelry size and as someone with sensitive skin, it was all amazing quality as well. He did the piercing fast and flawlessly with minimal pain and had me laughing before and after. He spent a bit going over exactly how I needed to care for the piercing and any recommendations he had for the best possible healing which I definitely appreciate. 10/10 am going to come here for any future piercings I decide to get. Also just a bit of a hint, check out the artwork he has posted around because you will be absolutely astounded on the skill on everything you see!

Dan was absolutely amazing!! He added on to a different tattoo i got at another shop and KILLED it. he was so professional and kind throughout the entire process! kept making sure i was good and asked if i needed anything while doing the tattoo.
