The thin crust Pepperoni pizza was delicious. The pepperoni were perfect, sauce savory, and crust crispy! The only disappointment was how quickly it was eaten. Clean establishment. Street side parking can be limited and has parking meters.

Today is my 28th birthday, so I took the day off and my mom and sister offered to treat me to a luxurious birthday lunch at home. I pondered my options for at least an hour. I wanted something satisfying, unique, and over the top. Boludo fit the bill. I have previously tried Boludo’s empanadas and churro donuts, but I had never tried their pizza before today. I ordered a margarita pizza, two vegetarian empanadas (humita and puerro), and the churro donuts— quite a lunch feast, I must say! While I have yet to eat the empanadas and donuts, I devoured the pizza. It was so unique and a true delight. The sauce appeared to simply be comprised of crushed and sweetened San Marzano tomatoes. They tasted so fresh and succulent. I loved how sweet the sauce was. The crust was charred and chewy. The pizza was also topped with flakes of some sort of light and savory cheese, which I adored. Such a special pizza. Thank you for making my birthday special. I can’t wait to eat the empanadas and donuts for an afternoon or evening snack…

The pizza is delicious as always! Peras is my ultimate favorite. I would become a vegetarian for this. Pepperoni is also super delicious - the subtle salty and cheese covered crust is a game changer. I also ordered two empanadas - good…and perfectly created, but didn’t give me butterflies. I was so excited to dine in! It’s a cute and dim space. Self order and self serve water.

Wow 🤩 the pizza is delicious, I never ate something like this before and I really loved it. The pizza has 8 slices it’s perfect for 2 people. I couldn’t take a photo of the empanada because I ate immediately but it was delicious too. 100 % recommended

I had better expectations The place is nice, I liked the decoration. I was pretty excited because I am from Latin America, and argentine empanadas are something that I have loved since always, however, I was very disappointed with the taste of the empanadas literally only tasted spicy and I think they should say from the beginning that are spicy. We ordered chicken, meat and spinach and none of us agreed the empanadas were good. In addition, I feel that they should improve the service, it wasn't good

Order the pizza, it’s amazing. What cheese is on the crust? Empanadas also very good, although we scarfed them before I could take a photo.

I’ve ordered here twice for take out and the food was absolutely delicious both times. My only issue is the service. First time I arrived and moments before walking in a guy told me they were closed and no more orders…even though I was picking up a order. Second time, the register girls were just confused. Service just didn’t really seem welcoming and I was happy I wasn’t dining in. Overall the food was great. The empanadas are excellent and the pizza took me by surprise. Price was a bit much but I would recommend this restaurant for the food alone. I’d probably try another location for the service. Also parking is along the street. They have outdoor seating and booths/tables inside but the space is not that big. Almost looked like there was some type of theatre on the back that was closed off. I loved the food though!

My new favorite pizza place! Msp mag was right when they called the dough as light as cotton candy. I the salty crust contrasts lovely with the naturally sweet pizza sauce. All pizzas are good but my fav is the classic margarita. Don’t sleep on the Cesar salad, it’s amazing. Flan is great too, it’s a custard like texture with dulce de leche on top! There’s always street parking available when you go in the afternoon on non-event days. Servers are great but sometimes the pizzas take a while to come out. Which isn’t a big deal if you are in good company.

We love the margarita pizza and the pepperoni. The pizza tends to be very soft and floppy when it is served fresh while dining in, but we noticed it is more crispy when we pick it up and we prefer it that way. The tomato sauce is notably sweet which at first threw me off but I think it’s quite nice. The crust is delicious and seasoned well. The empanadas are fine, nothing special. The Caesar salad is incredible. If doing take out I recommend asking for extra dressing. The counter service can get busy and crowded. They should hire more staff.

Ordered the Porteño Pizza. Great flavor. The grated cheese on top elevated this pizza to another level. Crust was well seasoned and balanced the toppings well. Would recommend reading through the menu online to get an understanding for what comes on each pizza, as the menu at the register doesn’t list ingredients. Only complaint is I wish the complimentary water glasses were larger! Overall great experience and great food. Will go back next time I’m in Minneapolis.

The food is outstanding and has great flavor! We had the espinana empanadas, Caesar salad, and a couple of pizzas. All three were fresh and wonderful! You order at the counter, find a table, and the food is brought out to you as it’s ready. The gentleman working the counter was friendly and cleaned off the tables when he had time. It seems like more could be done to utilize the space (there’s a beautiful bar in a room that was completely unused) or maybe it’s only used during the dinner hour and we dined there for lunch. Overall the food was delicious and we very much enjoyed our whole meal!

Seems like my first review got deleted. Pizza was good, sauce is too sweet. Also smaller than you'd think. It definitely photographs better than it tastes. It's not bad, just not incredible. Ceaser salad was ordered to go. They gave me a cup of dressing (pictured) that was so small that I was forced to dip my leaves of lettuce in it like nachos just to utilize the tiny amount. I was left with half the salad (also pictured) of leaves when I was done. Also they give you one giant crouton that you are supposed to break up yourself, or take bites out of as you go? It's fancy for the sake of fancy and it's just annoying. For the price, I wasn't all that impressed. All that shredded cheese is enticing, but it's just covering up other shortcomings.

Absolutely amazing! This cozy spot gives flavor, warmth and place to share a slice or eat it all on your own. You order at the front and seat yourself. The ambiance is a nice mood that makes you want grab a booth, a couple friends and stay a while. The peras pizza is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in the twin cities. Got four different empanadas and you can’t go wrong with any of them. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are great especially for being in the downtown area. This casual spot is top on my list this winter.

The pizza and empanadas were great. This was the best gluten-free pizza I have had. It was tasty, and the portion size was more than enough for two.

First time coming here, and I was disappointed on the outcome… there was no crisp at all, the corner pieces were ok because they had some crisp but the middle pieces, heavy flop, undercarriage looked like it was barely cooked. So much potential here because the pizza tasted good, just with that much flop, I just can’t get myself to like it. If it was done a lot more with some char, I think it may be good. Service was excellent. Not my cup of tea, 6.2/10., but hey, if you don’t mind the flop, you may love it!

Pizza is amazing. High quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. I wish they would let it rest for a few minutes on a wire rack before served because some of the pizzas with more veggies can make the crust soggy. It's a bit of a self serve place, you're expected to buss your own table. The staff was very friendly. Very cool casual hangout with the decor. I watched one of the staff come back from the market with a big bag of fresh lettuce heads for the salads.
