Not a good experience. I called to inquire about swim fins. I was looking for a size 14. The lady who answered the phone told me they had several to choose from and to come on in and check them out. When I arrived I found the only fans they had came in sets with snorkel and mask and they only had kids sizes and smalls. Not good information from an employee and definitely not good customer service. When I told the young man in the store about my experience his response was "Oh well, I don't know why she told you that." On top of that, very very high prices. I thought I'd look for a simple Padres ball cap while I was there. $45. I won't be returning.

This is basically a clothing store masquerading as a sporting goods store. Most items have no price on the item or the shelf, which makes shopping pointless. There is no fishing or firearms sections. Limited hiking and camping gear. A waste of time.

Super cool store, our family loves to camp and we always find what we are looking for here. Love this store & friendly staff! :)

This location just may not carry items like the test but no fishing or hunting section at all very disappointing well off to the ol big 5 and Walmart...

Huge store. Short handed staff, but maybe it because it was July 4th. They even had some golf equipment, which I thought a lot of stores had cut out.

There are no price tags on half the things. Do I have to bring an associate with me everywhere in this store? Clarity for customer satisfaction is paramount. Especially when we can check the (cheaper) prices of items online so much more easily. Make it easy, or people go elsewhere.

Aside from some niche gear I was looking for, they have everything and anything you need athletically. Dare I say it's even more convenient that Amazon since it's closer to my house than Amazon's 1 day shipping. Overall I love this chain and it sells the best brand names. Some times it can run a little pricey but most of the top end gear will last you long enough to justify the price. Their sports clothing section was also pretty comprehensive.

Came in to buy training gear I've gone to other locations looking for specific nike shorts couldn't find my size. Finally came to the Escondido location and found many! Scored some new shoes as well and other clothes on clearance! Came to the register there was many employees hanging out in the front one gentleman helping me. Only thing that was uncomfortable for me is he carried on a conversation with his other coworkers about someone they didn't like working there. Not professional. He asked for my number and never sent my receipt to my email. Overall the store it's self was great, the employees just need to keep it professional.

The selection is great. Good location. Maybe everyone was having a bad day. I am in no hurry to return. Every single staff member I encountered seemed put out and inconvenienced when I asked a question. I stopped looking for shoes because the gentleman told me there simply weren’t any in my size since I’m a half size. It was so obvious that he didn’t have any interest in helping me find running shoes that fit . Another employee was too focused on a cute blond mom to help me find headbands. The guy who checked me out seems like he wanted to be anywhere, but there. I tried to smile at him, but he wasn’t having it. There was one female employee (out of 5 staff members I encountered) that was nice and tried to be friendly. This particular store needs to train their staff how to be friendly and helpful to customers. I bought 3 items and was ready to spend a lot more money on summer shoes, headbands and clothing. I’m going to go somewhere else.

Accessibility: this store is very accessible! They have disabled parking across from the front entrance, but please be careful when crossing the street because cars fly through the parking lot too quickly. The doors to enter are motion-activated, and once inside, there is a motorized cart you can sit on and shop with to the left of the front entrance. This store is VERY large so if walking is difficult for you, please use this. There is also curbside pick up if you want to use that option and never leave your vehicle. Experience: SO EXPENSIVE, but really nice clothing, shoes, accessories, and everything sports related. They have a running section, camping, golf, snowboarding, and more. The employees are all very nice and one helped me find the shoes we were looking for!

I’ve only been once to the Escondido location but they had exactly what I needed and the staff was extremely helpful. I highly recommend

They advertise a pair of certain shoes they carry, get down to the escondido store and they said they didn't have them. These guys love false advertising

Greeting twice as soon as I walked in. Asked my question and directed exactly where to go, found what I needed. Decent prices. Good selection. I have been all over the place looking for Padres merch and they had what I needed. Good Chargers selection too. Easy parking. Quick check out.

Rude employees. Made multiple trips to pick up bike after I was called and told it was ready and each time I arrived they told me it wasn’t ready.
