Had a great dive from La Jolla Cove out to the kelp forest. Davor was our guide today and he made sure we were taken care of and really made the day nice for us. Highly recommend taking advantage of his knowledge of the area on a guided dive! Can't wait for our next dive!

Davor was an amazing guide! he had our equipment pretty much set up for us. we are beginners and used to the calm Gulf of Mexico waters. We were a little uneasy about the cold, choppier waters off La Jolla shores, but he definitely made us made us feel safe! He made sure to get lots of awesome pictures and videos. Davor took the time to go through the dive plan multiple times and just chatted for a while and got to know us personally before we went down. The first hurricane in 100 years was about to hit the cali coast and even when we thought the weather wouldn't be in our favor, he still offered to meet us for coffee somewhere on the chance it wasn't safe to dive. Thankfully we beat the weather and were able to have a successful dive! Overall, great experience and once we hone our skills, cant wait to come back and dive with Davor again! I did two great dives with Davor, one night dive in La Jolla Shores and an early morning dive in La Jolla Cove. I saw many things including lobsters, octopuses, a sea lion, sheep crab and Horn sharks. Davor is a very relaxed and knowledgeable instructor who made me feel safe at all times. Would definitely recommend !

It was great experience. Davor is very professional and calm. Gave wonderful feedback on how to improve my technique. I appreciate his recommendation to start with La Jolla beach dive first and do the cove after I familiarize myself with diving in the Pacific. Both locations are good but the cove and kelp and sea lions are just magical.

Davor is AMAZING!! We had a scuba tour with Davor and we were more than happy that we went with him. He is very knowledgeable, does comprehensive predive briefing, and puts safety above everything else. His tours are well-sized (2-3 people) and he provides gears in great condition. During the dive, he regularly checks on everyone to make sure all divers are okay and not getting too far from him. After the dive, he summarizes the dive in detail and lets you know what you did well and what you need to work on. Davor really takes his time to help you get the best possible experience out of it. You’ll not go wrong with him!

My group and I had a great experience with San Diego Scuba! None of us had any prior experience with SCUBA, but the Discover Scuba Course allowed us to learn the basics of SCUBA (safety, strategy, theory, etc.), under professional supervision. Our instructor, Davor, prioritized safety so we always felt safe in the water. I recommend this experience to anyone interested in SCUBA!
