Park Recreation center

😠 Reason we went to the park for my 12 yr old son's club soccer friendly game. The good......the field is in good shape, is synthetic turf. The bad.........the area is a disaster and looks like a war zone. Parking extremely difficult. People double parked, Parked in red zones. Parked on the side walk... People often mention park, area,

Reason we went to the park for my 12 yr old son's club soccer friendly game. The good......the field is in good shape, is synthetic turf. The bad.........the area is a disaster and looks like a war zone. Parking extremely difficult. People double parked, Parked in red zones. Parked on the side walk. Homeless and trash everywhere. Pure lawlessness!! People smoke in the park both cigarettes and marijuana. The restroom in the park had urine and fececes on the floors and WALLS!! Beer cans and caps on the ground throughout the whole park. People in the park and the area were friendly. With the exception of the homeless / vagrants. Who are unfortunately dealing with mental health issues and/or substance issues. Seen aggresive, violent and antisocial behavior from then in the area. Last, do not leave anything that look of value in your car when parked. But that goes for everywhere, I guess.

The park was okay little Dusty I suppose it's because under the trees and the grass doesn't grow. A little crowded people were blocking me in in my parking space. But there was no ruckus, everything was everything all praises to God.

Not safe! Dirty! Gangs! Homeless! Park is next to mental hospital. People breaking in and out of mental hospital. No parking! Restrooms are filthy! Kids smoke weed and drink alcohol next to playground as well as the gang members. No police presence. Overall, I do not recommend this park or area.

this park is not safe. my step dad took my daughter for a walk, stopped by the park only to run inside with my daughter because people decide to start shooting. this park has gone down hill since i left L.A. too many people smoking and drinking. plus vendors out on the side walk make the park look dirty. especially the lady selling hotdogs. feeding n petting the cats while she makes the hot dogs she never washes her hands just gross.

We came here for Football, friendly play between us. It was quiet peaceful in the Park with children running and playing on grounds. We also had a small picnic with snacks purchased at neighboring Oasis Market. RZED.

Restrooms are super dirty.....staff and their family use the ones inside for their convenience and the park goers are stuck with the other ones. I only go when there's no way to either hold it or go somewhere else. And to be clear I and others only go there because of our kids Playing a sport.

Nice little playground, the swings are always occupied though. Usually come here to have a snack. There's also a free campsite by the basketball courts, it smells a little funky but quiet enough to spend the night.

We are currently attending this park because our baseball league has access to conduct their spring season here again. GLP is one of the home parks that University Little League plays. Since they have been playing here, the park environment has improved with the help of their partners and volunteers, who clean prior to the games.

It's a good place to play soccer. Although they can make the fields alone better like softer flooring. Over all it's pretty good

I grew up near here and it seems to be better than before, because there's a lot less gang presence.

Wonderful for kids and lots to keep them busy in a beautiful setting. Only advisory to parents is it can be a challenge to stay right with your child given the terrain and activities at the park (top of the slide is way, way far from the bottom of the slide)--other than that it's great!
