Drove with my family 25 miles to try out this restaurant. Food is delicious and tasty. If we ever come back it would be for take out only. Don't waste time by dining in because the waitress named Mara is horrible. She didn't greet us when we walked in, some tables hadn't been cleaned, after we sat, she came over with attitude like she didn't want to serve anyone. She took our order, brought our food and drinks and that was it. Never came back to check on us because she was too busy talking to another group of people about her life story on how she crossed the desert, paid the coyote 30k to come to USA, how she didn't want to jump the fence and so on... I asked if she could bring me more sauce but instead she went right back to talking to her friends. The way she speaks is not appropriate for a work place and was uncomfortable to sit there listening to all her drama. The restaurant setting and decorations are nice but they definitely need to retrain the waitress or customers will not come back.

First time eating HONDURAN food and it was awesome! You might naturally think, oh it's going to be just like Mexican food but are you SOO ever wrong! Take a Spanish speaking friend if you're not daring, cause everything's in Spanish! It's very laid back, so relax be patient don't be in a rush and just enjoy yourself! Treat it like an experience and tip generously cause the 2-3 employees (waitress, cook, and maybe someone cleaning tables) work very hard.

The service was absolutely horrible! Our group never got to taste the food because the waitress basically just ignored us from the start, we walked in and stood at the counter for 5 minutes while she just stared at us. Then we ask do we just sit anywhere? And she yelled something in Spanish so we just sat down. She walked past us five times before walking over throwing menus at us and yelling ..."I don't speak English " then process to walk away without asking if we wanted waters. My friend tried to tell her she speaks a bit of Spanish and that's ok, but she just walked away. We felt so uncomfortable 4 girls there to celebrate a birthday and eat some food, instead we were met with a bitter filled waitress with a attitude problem. We eventually just got up because she was just ignoring us and NO IT WAS NOT BUSY . It was just us and one other customer , when we went to orave she Sarcastically laughed and said by in a very rude manner. Sad thing is this place will probably shut down because of all the bad reviews about the same thing customer service! This was on Wednesday June 15th at around 1:30ish.

Sadly did not even get to try the food. Waitress was horrible didn't even acknowledge my friends and I, when we seated ourselves still ignored. Finally she said she didn't speak any English didn't even give us menus so we just got up and left. She rudely said goodbye. Will definitely not be returning and just wanted to warn other customers on what to expect when dining here.

Didn't even wait for our food because the service was horrible. The older waitress that dresses like a 19yr old was extremely rude. We told her it was our first time there and she just stared at us annoyed. Then when we asked her what two items contained it made her more frustrated. Lastly, she just grabbed the menu from us and walked without asking if we were done ordering. Won't be coming here again.

This place is the best Honduran food. There is no English here, including the menu, so be prepared. It's truly authentic and a great, homely experience. The beans are so good and the chips they give you are something to fight over.....will be back when in CA next.

I’m from Honduras, and it’s rare to find Honduran restaurants nearby so I was excited to come here. I came with 3 other friends and immediately the server was rude! It took them 20+ min to get our order and when we wanted to get some drinks she shushed us and said “no I’ll tell you what drinks we have before you start asking” and then she left and came back another 20 mins later to tell us what drinks they had. The food took like another 20-30 mins… the server had blonde hair I didn’t get her name. I get they are understaffed but there was no need to be rude. The food was OK, it wasn’t the best. Then when I was ready to pay, I asked for the check she said “ok I’ll get it for you” then proceeded to go on her phone and start texting.. Lo siento pero tienen muy mal servicio, pésimo! Y la comida no está ni bien ni mal. Más o menos. Estaba muy emocionada de probar este lugar ya que extraño mi comida Catracha, pero la mesera tiene muy mala actitud, muy mal criada.

Food was great! Cook did a great job. The server however was hostile. I was the only customer there so I did a zoom call for work. I wasnt loud. I wasn't rude to her. After that, she was really hostile and I can tell she wanted me out.

An open space with hardly any tables to sit, Not sure if they have parking, probably street by its location. Service is typical for honduran people, horrible customer service skills, same as in the country, they treat customers as if they are doing them a favor. You might want to consider take out

I came for some takeout on my lunch break, and based on the reviews i was not expecting the best service but i was really craving some homy food and decided why not give it a shot. As soon as i walked in i was greeted by a lady, and my first impression of the place was how clean and comfy it is. Dim lighting, nice bar top and upbeat music. I noticed they were a bit busy since it is only 3 workers, one cook and two waitresses. I waited about 25 minutes to get my food, the waitress was kind enough to give me a free drink of nance for the wait, which i really appreciated. I can see that they’re trying their best to provide good customer service all while running an entire restaurant between only 3 workers. It can be very stressful for them, just be mindful of this if you decide to dine in. Make sure you’re not in a rush because freshly cooked food will not be ready in under 20 minutes. I ordered a plate of tajaditas de platano con carne molida, my plate was decent a solid 3/5. The meat lacked in flavor and so did the topping sauces. But i must say the pricing is very affordable, I only paid $13. Overall, they can definitely work on bettering the flavor of the food. However, I would still recommend to anybody looking to support a local small business. This place definitely has a lot of potential 👍🏻

Food was great, food gets 5 stars. But the waitress Mara is a different story. She was horrible 0 stars.

We were 8 total our dishes were delicious the baleadas were yummy our server Mara was pleasant. Food was great!

The food is really good, but the older lady waiter is the worst. Always serving with a grumpy face and irritated. La señora da muy mala asistencia.

The food is wonderful and it's open to ten but the thing is the Waitress didn't act like one, She would constantly be talking to other people about herself,And wouldn't give ous the menu and we did she would keep talking more with other stuff members but the food was the best expect las tortillas.
