I can't say enough about how well my parents have been cared for since moving to Assisted Living in Park Vista over a year and a half ago. Professional, caring and engaged staff in a warm, inviting environment made my mother's last months pleasant and meaningful. The care given to my father after losing his wife of 70 years has been gentle and nurturing. The staff has kept me informed about every concern and development, and has managed to coax him to engage a bit more in his care, which is nothing short of a miracle! My dad mentioned to me how lucky he is to be there with such kind people, but he was also smart to choose to live at Park Vista. Amazing staff and facility!

I was very disappointed with how I was treated as a potential vendor by the staff member overseeing the activities. This is literally the only negative review that I have ever posted...for anything! I am a professional musician and I moved from San Diego to Fullerton last year to be closer to my daughter. After relocating, I needed to build business as quickly as possible. I had been a go-to musician for several of the largest assisted living facilities in San Diego. As an experienced performer with an established “show” for assisted living residents, I visited the facility to drop off a card and meet this particular lady who oversees the activities in person. I followed up with her department and was given some specific dates to perform by a colleague in her department–I tried to confirm these dates to no avail only to have them suddenly “cancelled” by this lady for some unknown reason when I finally reached her – I guess for some reason she decided that she didn’t like me for trying to confirm the very performance dates that she had instructed her assistant to provide for me in the first place. It appeared to be a big misunderstanding...at my expense but perhaps repairable. After countless emails, voicemails, some desperately construed apologies and a Christmas card, I was able to meet this person in person a second time to rectify the situation and try and salvage the opportunity. . During our meeting I was now given a chance to schedule an “audition”. This was certainly "backpedaling" from my prior scheduled dates performing for money but it was an opportunity to attempt to be conciliatory and exhibit some good will on my part. The last night before my “audition”, I received another email – this time cancelling my audition and wishing me “good luck”. I called her immediately to try and re-salvage the opportunity and get a reason for this 2nd cancellation in a row. She told me that she didn’t “owe me an explanation” and hung up abruptly. I realize that, as a vendor peddling their wares, not everyone will like you nor will they resonate with your personality. But I believe that the way we treat everyone is important – even vendors. I have performed music for 35 years and have never had anything occur even remotely like this. Ironically, I have been scouting places to place my aging parents who are planning to move out near me. The list has certainly narrowed accordingly.

I love my Assistant Living family! Yes, they’re family! They loved my mom for over 5 years, before she was called home! Their patience , their expertise, their care, their over and above concern for the residence, I will forever be thankful ! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I gave it 3 stars. The place overall is very clean well kept. But I was there for 5 1/2 hours and never once did any lvn or nurse.come to change my grandma's gown ask if she wanted to wash her face brush her teeth or change her wet depends diaper or give her any sponge bath or offer to help with a shower. Her bed never got changed nor did they try to get her out of bed to sit in her chair. She has pneumonia and a list of other issues. But they have the staff to help her get better and it seemed like they were all too busy chit chatting and not caring for the patient. There was one young gentleman nurse who came to give her her meds and one to test her sugar but that was it. Aren't these places supposed to help with getting patients up, washed at least and hospital gown changed etc? I hope it's better today or I'll have to go to 2 stars.....

The staff is really awesome and take great care of my father in law. They are very attentive and he is doing very well likely due to the diligence of the staff.

Staff works very hard to keep residents clean and comfortable -- not an easy job, but they do so with kindness and care.

Park Vista Skilled Nursing is an outstanding facility. The staff from top to bottom go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. They take a personal interest in each and every patient and are very good at communicating with the families, never too busy to answer any questions you might have. Very clean. I would highly recommend Park Vista if you are in need of Skilled Nursing.

My 87 YO mother had two separate stays at Park Vista. The care she received was extraordinary. The staff was kind, thoughtful and very attentive. Whenever a need arose, there was never an issue with getting the proper attention and care. My mother was so appreciative, she was sad to say goodbye when the time came for her discharge. I cannot recommend Park Vista highly enough. I just can't imagine anywhere else she would've gotten such great care.

Staff is friendly and fabulous, facility is very clean. Food is very good. My Mom was only here for 10 days of rehabilitation but if we need to do something like this again, this facility will be our first choice.

Mom’s health is well regulated, except for her physical therapy and hearing needs. I know staff is very busy just to keep each resident healthy, but special needs should be addressed also. Mom needs more PT and her ear wax removed regularly, which isn’t happening right now.

Our father was in St. Jude. He needed to go to a skilled nursing facility. We toured and chose Park Vista in Fullerton. Park Vista is extremely clean, beatifully decorated, it looks and feels very homey, the food is very good and the residents that can get around eat in a beautiful dining room. There is never any odors or people in wheelchairs sitting in the hallways sleeping. We have been amazed at how well our father has been taken care of. The staff are amazingly attentive. They have activities after activities that all resident can attend if they choose to. There are always alot of residents who attend. The staff at Park Vista treats not just there bodies, but also there minds. We could not ask for a better skilled nursing facility. Our father is very happy being there. We thank the staff and the owners. Great job!

Compassion, Loving, Patient, STAFF! Clean, Cozy, Peaceful, FACILITY! I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for a place where your relative can feel welcomed, loved, and cared for. Not to mention, ease. I felt like l looked at every care facility around for my uncle. Nothing was good enough for him in my mind. He deserved a place where he can still have his dignity, be treated like a regular person. Honestly, after the places my uncle had spent time at previously were rough. I cried when I left touring Park Vista. I thought to myself, there are actual places that are better than where he came from. Thank God!. Park Vista could have not been any more than perfect for my uncle! What a relief on me as well since I am the responsible party for his care. Speaking of, their clinical communications are good as well. Whenever you have a question or concern they are always attentive and proactive (if need be). Thank you PV for taking great care of my uncle for the past three years of his life. Many of you have expressed how much you loved him and how much you are going to miss him. I know he knows in his heart you do! And he loved all of you too! My uncle, D. Gilmore as of just a few hours ago is now resting in peace comfortably. He is finally in a place with no pain, no disease, and noi worries. I love you Uncle Bud!

My 95-year-old mother moved into Park Vista two weeks before the Covid pandemic lockdown across the country and the world. What fortuitous timing for her! The Park Vista staff, compassionately and expertly directed by Haidy Mikhael Andrawes, were remarkable throughout the last two years of my mother's life. Their love, kindness, respect for the residents, skilled and gentle care are a gift to the residents AND to their families. Covid prevented families from visiting their relatives and the staff was deeply sensitive to this hardship. Nursing homes were the first casualties as the pandemic spread...and Park Vista astoundingly had zero cases among residents and only one or two staff cases in two years. I'm still astonished over their success. I will always be grateful and deeply appreciative of every member of the Park Vista staff who attended to my mother. They were heroic in working through a pandemic. They are tender hearted, experienced, empathetic and hardworking. THANK YOU, ALL. I've written an identical review on Yelp in order to spread the word about this well-run, well-maintained, lovely (including a beautiful outdoor garden) and caring last-stage home for your parent or grandparent.

My father resided at Park Vista for the last 13 months. The care he received was excellent. The Administration, Nursing staff, Rehab Center, and support staff are skilled, professional and very caring. Most staff are long term employees
