It’s a beautiful place. The stories behind these monuments is so remarkable, it’s an experience you can’t miss. It’s 80 KMS from Tanjore and it can be a half day trip… It’s beautiful in the night too… but to see the details of the sculpture, you need to visit it during the day.

A beautiful stone temple. I wish they didn't play such loud music with really big speakers as it could impact this architectural marvel. Using musical instruments could be better. Also wish people didn't pollute the place. It was clean but there were some empty turmeric and incense packets lying here and there...hope people become more responsible towards their surroundings. It's an amazing temple, if you are visiting chola stone temples you can see the architectural similarities.

Outside temple is clean and well maintained. But inside the big door a bit bad smell (Bird's Waste) I am mentioning here so that atleast someone should take action. We need to spend 1hr to watch all the architecture and everything.

Very similar to Tanjore big temple and Kumbakonam Dharasuram temple. Inside temple it was so clean and neatly maintained. Lawns makes the ground so beautiful. Perfect place for devotional trip. Car parking also available there.

The harmony of the Beautiful Temple can only be felt when we are there in person. However interior of the temple can not be viewed between 12pm-4pm as the the Mandapa will be remain closed. Unfortunately, I find many people capturing pictures and videos of the Deity as well as inside the temple which is profound against the law. Along with reducing the spirituality of the Temple and hereby request not to take photos inside the temple also please do not allow others to take.

Once we enter this temple we can able to feel the positive ✨️ such a grt temple but some construction work is goi on it seems. When we look around patiently we can able to see many historical things which has deep & beautiful meanings beyond our imaginations. Never fails to give us a shocking surprises 😮.

This is an magnificent place! This temple was dedicated to the great lord Shiva, dont miss to see the beautiful sculpture were the king Rajendra chola is been crowned by Lord shiva and Parvathy. Each & every steps u make inside the temple feels you the history of cholas in the stones & sculptures.

Built by the great Rajendra Chozhan, this ancient temple is a piece of architectural marvel. The megastructure in the center and the surrounding landscape brings eternal beauty to this place. It's a very calm and clean temple. A must visit for tourists and those who love temple architecture.
