Recommend. Great place for drinks and food. Quite spacious with indoor and outdoor seating available. Also, suitable place if you are dining in groups (10-15 people) Pet friendly place.

Nice place, very clean and food was ok but that is the last positive thing I can say about our dining experience! Advertised as dog friendly but don't do table service in that area! Unless you don't have a dog? Was told couldn't have a tab but others without dogs could! Truly awful experience treated like second class citizens. One place I have no intentions of ever visiting again!

Always fantastic food and service at the Ring O Bells. I was supposed to be taking my staff for a Christmas meal which we unfortunately had to cancel due to travel conditions for some people. They very kindly allowed us to still use the deposit paid for my partner and myself to eat there. Photographed is the Prosciutto wrapped cod loin and the slow cooked beef cheek off the festive menu.

In an old picturesque house, in the Daresbury village and also very close to the highway. Friendly and welcoming staffs. Spectacular ambience with authentic charm. Great food specially the traditional fish n chips dish. Totally recommended if you’re in the area.

We went here for Christmas day and never haveing been out for Christmas Dinner before we didn't know what to expect. Safe to say that after today we have decided we will be going out every year from now on and have already booked our table for next year. The atmosphere was lovely, friendly and relaxed and the food absolutely gorgeous. The team were wonderful, nothing was to much for them and can not thank them all enough for such a enjoyable meal today.

My wife and wider family had a Christmas evening here last night and unfortunately there experience was awful. It appeared that the managers that we have known for years where not in and the team left in charge just did not have a clue about service. No Christmas music or atmosphere, food took absolutely ages to arrive, every course had to be chased and when it arrived it was very poor to say the least. The bar top was full of used glasses, very poor presentation when you walk through the door. It’s a great pity as the restaurant used to be consistently great, with lovely service

It was very nice the furniture was very stained and the toilets were a but worn and shabby. Could do with furniture being cleaned. Food was really tasty with a good selection. A little pricey for lunch though.

Table booked for 2pm. Waiting over 45 minutes for meal to arrive, beef on the trio roast was tough and grissly, not impressed at all. Do not recommend. Not even an apology just you meal be here shortly, was another 10 minutes. Obviously no Tip left!!

Sorry my food was a bit greasy but the service is best ive had in last few years. Everyone was very nice especially a lady called Jane, she went out of her way to make my mums birthday special. I will be returning as its a beautiful bar and very clean plus service is key when i go out

We happend to pass The Ring O'Bells on a family trip to Daresbury and sought shelter from the rain. The pub is tidy, warm and inviting. The staff are welcoming and polite. Clearly a kitchen/chef that takes pride in the quality and appearance of every dish the send out and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Will recommend and definitely will return.

Very enjoyable meal Saturday night for my husbands birthday. Inside is lovely and the food tasted great! The staff were all so friendly and very on the ball, the restaurant was full and they we're professional, attentive and we were pleased with the service. Especially from our waitress who unfortunately i didn't get her name, long brown hair, tall and slim....lovely girl and excellent service thank you! 😊

Very beautiful pub and restaurant next door to the burial spot of Lewis Carroll. Warm and inviting on the inside with plenty of comfortable outside seating. Dog friendly. Big beautiful toilets. Nice beer selection. Zero alcohol beer available. Will have to do another review as I only stopped for a quick pint and did not eat food and did not take any pictures.

This was our second visit. We went for lunch this time, with our son, his lovely wife and their Labrador. The service was excellent as I had anticipated from our previous visit. The food was mostly very good. My wife had a slow cooked short rib of beef, wonderfully tender and tasty, and too large a portion for her. My son had Korean style pork belly which he thoroughly enjoyed while our daughter in law enjoyed a gluten-free steak and ale pie. On this event, I drew the short straw. I ordered a mixed seafood grill. It looked good on the menu, but both fillets of fish and the prawns deserved better. They were all overcooked and dry. I made no complaint, so I can't fault the service. We will certainly go back again, but I'll avoid that dish.

Lovely pub, refurbished to a high standard. Staff really nice and service great. Only gripe is how how it was in the restaurant. Three tables around us also commented on how hot is was so ventilation of some kind would be welcomed. Apart from that, it's a lovely place to spend a few hours.

Love The Ring o Bells Staff are pleasant, food is great.and its always buzzing. This time it was my birthday and the sung Happy Birthday and I got a dessert free. The staff chat to you and nothing is too much trouble.

Easy booking on line for a table to seat 10 people. We were looked after by Corinne at the Ring O Bells Daresbury. Corinne was exceptional and went out of her way to help us and make our visit memorable. Nothing was too much trouble and she looked after the younger one in our group who has certain food needs. The food was excellent and extremely well prepared and presented. Someone was always available to take our drink orders as the afternoon progressed. All in all, a very pleasant experience, great menu/food, beautiful surroundings with outside area seating and excellent service. Thank you Corinne and all who catered for our needs.

It's a great setting to grab a quick drink and relax, but since the new management took over it's been a slippery slope. We popped in to grab a table and it was less than half full and were told they were serving "100's of people" in the garden.... I get it that staffing may be an issue, but instead of offering additional options at the bar, snacks / drinks etc.. we were told they are at capacity sorry. Again, it happens, but to simply say they have 100's of people in the garden in a misguided attempt to deflect from staffing issues to deter customers is just poor customer service.

We had an enjoyable meal with friends. Four of us enjoyed three courses which were good quality & delicious. The staff were friendly, good humoured, and attentive despite being busy. Service was prompt. We sat inside the conservatory area, there is also outside dining in tiered gardens. This was not our first visit here and we will be back again.

Lovely food and great service. bit on the pricey side and the mash was instant not fresh which was the only let down. otherwise I love this place. the look and the atmosphere it top quality.
