Been to this optician for a number of years and have to say they’ve always taken great care of me - they were amazing when I needed surgery so reassuring. Andrew a brilliant optician. The team are just great - Leanne, Sam, Annemarie thanks. 😀

I had my eyes tested on Bank Holiday Monday and all the staff were excellent especially the young man who started recently, sorry I didn't note his name. He was exceptional, he did everything he could to help me find the right glasses which was very difficult for him as I have a very slim face. Definitely recommend

It was a great day at the shop they were all very professional and polite , and I felt that I was a special customer for my own needs

Have been using this opticians, under one name or another for over 40 years when they were Lancaster and Thorpe. Always been good friendly and professional. Eugene is by far and away one of the best optometrists I have seen, and will continue to do so until he retires. They current team are great.

Promptly seen and had a very thorough and detailed examination with very full explanation of the findings. No pressure to buy new glasses. Very professional service indeed.

Amazing service, they went over and above to get me an eye test and emergency pair of glasses when I lost them on holiday - not sure what I would have done without them! Very friendly and helpful, plus they assisted me with getting something in my budget. Would definitely recommend and very grateful!

I ordered contact lenses on 18th June to be told today (25th june) that they had still not arrived in store When I asked when they would be in store I was told that they would be a few days - with no specific time scale I find it extremely disspointing that after years of being customer with vision express Chesterfield, I would be treat with such dismissive attitude When I asked for my prescription again the woman was rude and had an attitude - her words - "let me see if its in date, hmm hmm... very rude and arrogantly. When I said it must be in date as I am a regular customer... having get my contact lenses monthly. My children are also customers there! I am extremely dissapointed with this and feel the past few times i have not received a call to say they're in store (again attitude when I called).

In the shop there's a sign saying that they'll match prices from elsewhere. But when I asked them to match the price of some glasses I'd seen elsewhere, they said they don't match prices of online companies (as they might have glasses that are end of line, or something). But the glasses I saw on their own website were the exact same ones as the other company, but cost £60 more.

Rang yesterday for an appointment as started seeing floaters in my eye. Got an appointment for this morning. Very thorough checks by camera and optician. Fortunately nothing serious, Staff were very friendly. When I was finished there was no charge either as classed as an emergency.

Great service, friendly and helpful staff at Vision Express in Chesterfield town centre. I got a cancellation appointment same day of phoning, eye test done, lots of help with picking glasses that suit me and my new glasses should be back in 2 weeks. Can’t wait! Thank you for fantastic service!

The staff were nice and cheerful and they were all very helpful with us. They made the whole process easy from beginning to end. Good range of glasses from low priced to your more expensive designer ones. I'd definitely recommend it

I was referred for a MECS appointment and the staff went above and beyond expectation to help me - even ringing other branches to see if they could get me an appointment closer to my home. Whilst this wasn’t able to happen, they got me in for an appointment within 3 hours. I had a number of thorough eye examinations which identified the issue that I had and the required future course of action. Thank you all for the care and professionalism shown towards me.

Visited this store for the first time today and was served by a young gentleman called Curtis. Although I was unable to order the Oakley Race Jacket Sunglasses I wanted, due to them being discontinued, I couldn't have asked for better service. He was polite, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Difficult times in retail still and this store is set out well and you are valued as a customer and feel safe. I did order the glasses directly from Oakley on the advice given by Curtis.

My visit to Vision Express for sunglasses was faultless. The staff were attentive and I particularly like their honesty when advising me on different glasses and how they looked. I felt safe with restrictions that are in place and will definitely recommend them to friends. Well done Vision Express keep up the great work.

Despite the limitations imposed on staff and customers by the rules put in place to protect all of us from COVID-19 the staff are wonderfully cheerful and kind. Their attention to detail and customer care is all I have grown to expect from Vision Express over the many years I have gone to them. 10/10 to the whole Team at Chesterfield... First rate service by everyone at my visit to Chesterfield branch. A thourgh eye test and how best to proceed. The adjustment to the glasses that I am wearing made a big difference to my vision, as I have said FIRST rate service.

My husband was advised to attend at Vision Express by the hospital eye clinic, when he had a very painful & sore eye. They saw him the same day & the optician, Andrew gave him a very thorough examination. Although he couldn’t determine the exact problem & referred him to the local eye clinic. We were very grateful for the treatment received & would highly recommend this branch.

Very happy with the service. Only negative is when I was told the person that deals with contact lens only works Thursdays. If I was told this when I originally booked my appointment for contact lens trial I wouldn’t have made this.

The staff in this establishment are excellent, I am Susan,s partner who was the person who had the eye test. They could do with more staff as they were very busy, awaiting my extra pair of glasses.

Very happy. We went in on Saturday as I had wrongly thought I'd booked an eye test online. The guy in store apologised for the mistake even though it wasn't his fault the proceeded to take a my details and found me an appointment the next day as there had been a cancellation. The appointment was straight forward and I'm now waiting for my new glasses. Brilliant customer service....

I wouldn't go anywhere else for optometry or for dispensing of prescription spectacles. Excellent care throughout and excellent customer care for the past 20 years.

My experiance with chesterfield vision experiance has always been good they are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them to deal with they take the time to sit with you listen to your needs and help you make the best decision about your glasses .I would recommend them to anyone .At the moment i have been back to the store this week as i have lost my reading glasses and needed to replace them i phoned the store and spoke to a lady called Leanne who helped sort a new pair .i have them now and am very happy with them .

The staff at this branch are very professional, kind and respectful. We highly recommend them.
